All these drums of war here and there on the internet, is it because someone so hated is ruling the country? Why so much hate on this current president? He built some schools in the north to bridge the gap between the Northern and Southern region and to reduce the almajiris there, something many of your elites didn't deem it fit to do despite ruling the country, yet, you're bragging about war. War that you haven't seen or felt or tasted. Who do you think will be affected? Even someone that resides in the UK is hoping it leads to a civil war or the total disintegration while he'll be there watching the news and getting updated on what's happening. Sad I tell you. |
jmaine: Lie 3 = Benin - Ore road is in good shape with the exception of a very minor part. Hitherto 9- 12 hours journey from Lagos - Benin has been shortened to 4 hrs. This I can confirm. I remember leaving Benin-city around 2 and arriving Lagos around 6:15pm. I was shocked and wondered if I really arrived Lagos at the above time. |
Na wa oh! Before, it was President Jonathan isn't working. Now, what his administration has achieved UNDER 3 YEARS has been listed, it is now - is that all he can do with the billions of oil revenue gotten? Why do we enjoy shifting the goalpost? PRAISE WHEN DUE AND CRITICISE WHEN NEEDED. ogwumgbe: Only igbo people hold the key to change the face of Nigeria forever. Others are pretenders. Igbo is a blessing to Nigeria. When you check out all these achievements in Goodluck Jonathan's administration, you will notice that the sectors in which this achievements take place mostly are headed by Igbos. Even our dear president is an Igbo man. Igbo blood flows in his vain. Others have no clue on how to move the country forward. Give an Igbo man the presidency and see us competing with Asian tigers and the West in few years. God bless the jew of NigeriaSomething must be wrong with you for bringing ethnicity into this. Can't you just face the topic without bringing ethnicity into this? |
olabukola: The only fact in nigerian political arena now is you don't know who to believe anymore.Aptly put. Who can we then believe? |
ocelot2006: Mr Man, shut your trap. If there's anyone CLUELESS, it definitely you.Hehehe. Thanks for the bolded. I used to doubt that the military is capable of making things till I worked with 'em. I saw the NNS Andoni, worked on it and I've seen the second one currently under construction. |
Clerverly: Comedians! So insincere 9igerian opened 43 new ids for propagating false and non existing achievements of his paymasterWhy don't you counter it with HARD FACTS rather than say they are 'non existing achievement'? Pls, when you see good thing, appreciate it. I see the discipline and sanity Fashola has brought about on Lagos roads that people who don't respect traffic light do now and so many other good things and I appreciate him for that even though he has his flaws. Even some other governors who have in one way or another worked tremendously for their states. Why so bitter about the listed achievements above? Topic, how come people keep shouting he's 'clueless and retarded' if all those works listed are his achievements under 3 years? I really think work has to be done to enlighten the common man on the streets of these achievements by the Jonathan administration. One of the achievements I'm happy about is that, in the Agricultural sector and also the power sector. I'm also happy that plans are being made to reduce over-dependency on oil. That doesn't rule out the fact that he really isn't trying on the issue of corruption . I used to criticise President Jonathan cos I really didn't see what he did as a state governor back then in Bayelsa. That being said, I hope he achieves more to silence noisemakers. Pls, can you list out the people's oriented policies his administration has achieved? Thanks even as I wait to get enlightened. |
Iyfe Namikaze: SKIPPER: Kowasky! status reportGuy, you're crazy I swear... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() What do Nigerians really want? Our military bought machines from advanced nations, people complained. They assembled, people yelled why can't they build? Now, they've made one, people say it's a fluke. Others are saying is that the most important thing? How about roads, electricity and other basic infrastructure? Do you expect the military to use their budget to provide basic amenities when there are other ministries responsible for that? That was how a picture of the Nigerian Naval Ship Andoni was shown here. People said 'Nigerian Navy can't build this besides, it doesn't look advanced'. What do y'all really want? You may not like the president but pls, when his administration does something good, praise him for that. This hatred won't get us anywhere. |
Are you freaking kidding me? The coming years will be interesting in the Nigerian political sphere. |
luxanne: If they are not taking exams, what's the point of going back to school? LolI'm good. And you? Ms pee, so you just can't miss christmas this year and stay in school? ![]() |
Kaycee7: I don't think so. Other villages have their own heavyweights.Baki is dead |
teemy: himself and his younger brother killed each one his best friend, thereafter he killed his own younger brother.Sorry oh! Hope you aren't saying Madara killed Izuna? Seems like you're still with the anime. |
I'm fine dear. And you?
I'm good. This one strike has been called off, hope you won't spend Chrisgmas at home? ![]() Hey there Luxanne! ![]() |
Good evening Okay, I have calmed down because of you
Good evening! How you dey? |
Sowhizy:What should one do when there's no teeth? ![]() Welcome BTW!!! ![]() |
Who is Biodun? Nice update. |
Little pee? Stubborn little thing? Emi thing? And who said that? ![]() Show me!!! ![]() *pelts sachet water at him*
You too dey vex. . . Calm down!! |
DerideGull: The man is the reason your parents will warn you about the areas in Nigeria you would want to take a wife or raise your children. There is always wisdom in your parents.Haba! Dede! E never reach this level! |
pickabeau1: Yes there is nothing new is seperating or divorcing a woman...Naruto thread. . . |
![]() Uchiha Madara oh!!! See someone who uses the rinnegan way above the level of those Obito and Nagato combined. He didn't waste time and is already trying to extract the bijuus from Naruto and Bee-sama although I think Hashirama's power is somewhat involved. We still haven't seen the last of him. Stupid shukaku underestimating him. I said it, only Kurama knows what he is capable of. Black Zetsu already knows Minato and Kakashi's worth hence him still sticking to Obito. |
he is the cause,I believe it started from when they were doing the bf/gf thing.. if a lady shout on u and u keep quite u're indirectly telling her to continue and she will do it till both of I get married. never accept second class behavior from ur gf . this is the result.
You probably don't know ladies. Haven't you heard of ladies that hide their true character till they're married? The bolded be like say you ready beat your babe if she f up? ![]() |
kulyie: abbeeeegggiiii @ ferazNna-anyi! ![]() I'm being objective here. I only commented when I saw your first post about the husband being uncivilized as if it was the man's fault. No one is saying there's a perfect spouse anywhere because couples are meant to help one another's weakness and compromise in certain aspects for a marriage to work |
pickabeau1: There is nothing wrong with a temporal seperation but in this manner the approach is insulting and shows contempt n a throwback to the woman as chattel daysYou heard the OP. He's involved the in-laws, they overlooked it thinking it's a small issue till it became magnified. This is a guy that set-up an SME for his wife since she has been searching for job (empowering her before she got her dream job) going by the OP's account. Does it look like he hasn't tried every means possible? Ok. Let's all agree that he didn't do it the right way, that he insulted the lady, her family, her in-laws etc what other way would he have done it (bearing in mind that communication has failed in this aspect). BTW, I haven't seen you in the other thread! ![]() Those bringing tribe into this, pls, do well to refrain from something that would start up some stupid tribal fights. I still regard the family section as one of the sanest sections. kulyie: Mr nayiNa wa oh! So this man should sit down and listen to what she shouts about even the nasty words being spoken by her (cos I'm sure there's no way a lady would shout at her spouse without insulting him, she may even be of the category that always holds the husband's shirt yelling - 'You must kill me oh! Weak man! Where's your manhood?!'. It is very rare to see. I'm not saying all ladies oh). A sane man will sit and listen to all those? What makes you think in those two years, the dude hasn't listened to her, even done some of the things that she requested, changed the way she wanted him to, do all sorts of things to please her, started up something for her, became a weak man all to make her adore him, told the in-laws (which I also don't fancy but it always one of the last solution if all else has failed), begged, cried, pleaded with her to see reasons with her actions? |
kulyie: what is 'nayi' i hear that word a lot from some ibo women.what does that mean.sorry for the way i spelt it.thats how i hear it pronouncedIt's like saying 'ókó mí'. Literally, it means our father (used to address either a husband or elders). Which would people prefer? That he divorces her, she gets remarried prolly to someone less patient than the above guy and becomes a punching bag OR she gets the required training, gets back with her husband and the marriage works. Even though she remarries, she'll appreciate what her ex-husband did. For him to have done this, he must have tried everything possible to make the marriage work. Going by the OP, I don't think he laid a finger on her which few men would have done since. If he brings another wife, ladies would scream 'unfaithful husband' saying why didn't he divorce her? He divorces her, problem. He beats her, all men are 'beasts'. He has an extra-marital affair, all men are 'dogs and they can't control their third legs'. What do y'all want men to do? I still ask again, what is the best solution to the above problem since returning her for re-training is a problem assuming that every form of making the marriage work proved futile |
Djtm: Btw, I think all these feminists disturbing nairaland are just keyboard warriors. It is their type that will kneel down before setting their husband's food on the table.Hehehe.... Also add 'Nna-anyi' |
yellowpawpaw: Of course he will take her back.Thank you. |
Yes he is uncivilized. We can't call him a beast because I have never heard a beast returning their mate. So maybe we should not insult beasts. Telling someone that you are returning a human being is just so unintelligent to me. Stupid in fact. I don't even think slaves had return policy but in Nigeria wives do.
What would you have done since he's uncivilized assuming you have tried all forms of communication? |
What in the world is wrong with SEastern governors? First, it was Peter Obi of Anambra state and now, it is Rochas of Imo state. Tomorrow, it will be T.A. Orji (that is if he hasn't done his). I think those of us travelling this xmas should make it a point of duty to always visit the state house and demand for better governance and demand that they stop this reckless spending of the state monetary resources. |
As usual, the man is being blamed by some folks here despite we understsnding from the post that the man has tried to settle things the way couples should and also not bringing it to a third party. This he endured for TWO YEARS . Yet, someone opens her mouth to call the husband uncivilized. We didn't even read that the man beat her up, yet, he is uncivilized. If he had beaten her up, he's a beast!!!! would have filled this thread. ![]() |
As usual, some people couldn't leave the east out of their comments. Anything that has to do with corruption in Jonathan's regime, the east must be included. payless: You got their motive right. They brought this up because of allegations against Jonathan. The chest beating experts from the East and oil bandits from the creek are low lifers. They are drowning with GEJ as we speak. Their days are numbered..............Seriously? ![]() Op, that list doesn't look real and the source... ![]() |
I'm fine. How was your night?
It was wonderful...dreamt about ![]() |
