Politics › Re: Obama Pledges $7bn For Electricity In Nigeria, Others by Ferdinandu(m): 6:58am On Jul 01, 2013
awodman: Oh!..that's how you now interpret it?..if he had made disparaging and damaging remarks about Nigeria you would have hung it solely on GEJ's head and leave out all the leaders from 1985 right?...

You can spin all what you like but the #Fact remains that the "ambitious goals" Obama is referring to is actually been carried out in GEJ's tenure...
Is he not right? GEJ has ambitious goals but OBJ had an over-ambitious goals but we didn't see anything but only to hear later that our $16bn dollars has gone to the wind. until we start seeing light anytime we touch the switch in our houses, the goal is still what it is, "A goal"
Politics › Re: Governor Peter Obi Retires From Politics by Ferdinandu(m): 6:43am On Jul 01, 2013
Even as I laud Peter Obi on his achievements. The problem in Nigeria is not old Politician not retiring but recycling of corrupt under-performing Politicians.Because Nigerian Politics is seen as were you go and Loot money Everybody is seen not retiring in Politics as an opportunity to make more money which is not so.That you came and retire quickly but no tangible achievement will not solve our problem .In other well managed economies of the World, career Politicians stay in politics for Life and the People still continuously vote them into Power.
I walk with a cool and trustworthy circle of friends who can die for someone else. Plus why be with a girl I can't trust? It is silly and a waste of time
you didn't even say Friend but circle of Friends, you think you trusted all of them. That is the mistake with some people, they think everybody around them are friends until some people bring out their true character. It may be alright to have a friend like that you can vouch for but Circle of friends?you are deceiving yourself.
Education › Re: ABU Sacks Professor For Intimate Harassment by Ferdinandu(m): 10:09pm On Jun 29, 2013
dasparrow: @Post

Serves Prof Kolo right. The Professor dey kolo like his name. And I can bet that he has a wife at home. This is one of the many reasons why I feel weary raising daughters in Nigeria. The Nigerian society is creeping with perverts and pedos. Even the Nigerian workplace is a sexual harassment haven. I hope other professors in Nigeria learn from Prof Kolo's mistake. Mu kids can never attend university in Nigeria that's for sure.
Abeg no block space here we don hear say you dey away.Clinton that used the Intern in his office,Is he a Nigerian president? Former IMF president Straus kahn Is he a Nigerian? There are more Perverts and dangerous pedophiles over there than in Nigerian.
YOU GUYS SHOULD GET THE INSIDE STORY. PROF. KOLO WAS SET UP.... PART OF THE ONGOING OPERATION NORTH FOR NORTHERNERS
He has turned to typical Nigerian Politician when they catch him in corruption he will turn around and start shouting: "This is a political witch-hunting." Meanwhile the Rogue has truly stolen the money.Who cares where he is from or not, the issue is, "Did they catch him trying to take advantage of his Student or not?" simple.Don't complicate the issue.immorality and evil have no ethnicity.

Health › World's First Three-parent Baby On The Way by Ferdinandu(op): 10:32pm On Jun 28, 2013
The UK looks set to become the first country to allow the creation of babies using DNA from three people, after the government backed the IVF technique.

It will produce draft regulations later this year and the procedure could be offered within two years.

Experts say three-person IVF could eliminate debilitating and potentially fatal mitochondrial diseases that are passed on from mother to child.

Opponents say it is unethical and could set the UK on a "slippery slope".

They also argue that affected couples could adopt or use egg donors instead.

Mitochondria are the tiny, biological "power stations" that give the body energy. They are passed from a mother, through the egg, to her child.

Defective mitochondria affect one in every 6,500 babies. This can leave them starved of energy, resulting in muscle weakness, blindness, heart failure and death in the most extreme cases.

Research suggests that using mitochondria from a donor egg can prevent the diseases.

It is envisaged that up to 10 couples a year would benefit from the treatment.

However, it would result in babies having DNA from two parents and a tiny amount from a third donor as the mitochondria themselves have their own DNA.

Nigeria is arresting and deporting any Chadian and Nigerien in sight and Nigerians are beginning to feel hostile toawards this guys because all of them are perceived to be potential Boko Haram members. In the same way you can't blame the people of South Africa for feeling hostile towards Nigerians in SA because truth be told quite a large no of our brothers in SA are Drug dealers and Armed robbers. what is good for the goose is good for the gander.you can't blame people who are trying to to protect their country from potential hazards.

At every particular time in the history of man,one thing or another will always be a thing of controversy of whether it is right or wrong, moral or not moral. There was a time when a man will take a fellow man in bondage and call him a slave because he feel superior to the person, everybody supported the institution both christian and Islam,Atheist, and what have you .The bible and Koran supported it up till now, that verses that supported Slavery have not changed in the Bible .A country like America went to civil war because of opposing views about slavery but at the end of the day common sense prevail. The Idea of Slavery in the Modern time is now one of the highest evil a human being will commit against another. There was a time when it was an abomination for Women to speak in a public place like church even the bible supported it but today we have great female Pastors and evangelist. There are quite a lot of things that are regarded as evil in old but today you dare not think of that.I'm sure the issue of Homo-sexuality will be resolved with time .I am not surprised at the passionate of views of the opposing sides on the issue, because it will take quite a long time to come to one stand on the issue but I'm sure after sometime common sense will prevail.

To be sincere saying that I believe in Super Eagles beating Spain is lying to myself.Spain is not Ivory Coast.from the way Spain played so far in the tournament, it is obvious that they are not yet ready to let down on their winning streak, and not to Super Eagles . I saw Spain beating Eagles by 2 goals margin but I Earnestly Pray that God of Soccer will be on Eagles side today.
