Look, Obi Cubana is a showbiz man and what happened in Oba was simply a SHOW that bloggers and social media handles of celebrities helped to project globally. Of course, the massive publicity generated before, during and after the event is good for his business and Cubana brand.

The fact is that the spraying of money that happened at Obi Cubana's mother burial happen every weekend in both SE and SW at birthdays and wedding ceremonies of wealthy persons or families. The only difference is over-blown social media coverage.

The fact is that Sunday Igboho grew too confident and comfortable in his struggle. He ought to have applied siege mentality and sense of eternal vigilance.

Unlike Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who dropped his guard carelessly by 'sauntering' into Kenya of all places like a tourist, Sunday Igboho had no guard from day one. He attended rallies like a boss. It might have been a DSS strategy to entrap him. I mean, how do you pursue secession cause and criticize government of the day heavily without safe-keeping all your key travelling documents somewhere in Lagos or a border town? Why still live openly in your house like a monarch in Ibadan with retinue of aides instead of being 'nowhere and everywhere'? Why keep incriminating things that could be used against you where you live?

Something tells me that this story of Sunday Igboho obtaining Beninoise passport illegally and trying to fly to Germany might be a well-written script playing out. The main purpose, I believe, is to charge to him to court in Benin Republic for immigration offence and keep him in custody while the case proceeds. In this case, any extradition application from Nigeria will wait until the court case goes full circle.

The lawyer Aloy Ejimakor should give more clarity on "Again, he stressed UNITY and tolerance on all sides." It is important that he communicates Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's stance and message CLEARLY.

There are a few things people should understand:
- The massive display of money at Obi Cubana's mother's burial happens every week in Anambra State at the burial and wedding ceremonies involving rich personalities or wealthy families. It is no big deal.

- The only difference with Obi Cubana's event is that he is a YOUNG man who is neck-deep in SHOWBUSINESS and so attracted massive bloggers' coverage and social media attention. There was so much showbiz make-believe or razamatazz in that burial packaging and execution intended to make it talk of the town and many people fell for it and developed unnecessary envy with toxic reactions. For example, in as much as it is possible but did anybody really see the receipt of casket to confirm that it was bought for N30 million other than what was said by bloggers?

- Among the Igbos, attendance and support at one's event is debt to be paid. Therefore if you have attended and financially supported many people at their burial and marriage events, they will in turn support you when it is your turn. Obi Cubana has obviously attended many. Again if you have mentored or financially helped many up and coming businessmen to grow, they will turn up massively for you. Obi Cubana has mentored and supported many.

- Far from saying that there was no ritual money spray at that event but the truth is that every note sprayed on Obi Cubana was carefully gathered by the organizing committee in bags to be sorted and machine-counted by bank workers who were kept upstairs. Don't get carried away. Bag was secured.

Obviously a close-knit family under a strong matriarch. I hope the unity continues now the matriarch is gone.

I am sure Obi Cubana appreciated his presence more than the money spayed by some.
