There is a tad of bitternes in Emeka Emekesiri's comment. Hearing his name for the first time but a bit of googling showed he has been anti-Kanu all along. Truth be told Mazi Nnamdi Kanu wants things his own way. He is ambitious and detests sharing stage with anyone. Many originally enthusiastic IPOBIANS including Mr. Mefor were thrown under the bus and all have bitter tales to tell. May be it is time to have a meeting of IPOB Old Boys. |

Afenifere should stay out this and just allow the Southern Governors do the required REACHING OUT to their peer state governors, party chiefs and other party stakeholders for effective LOBBYING and POLITICKING. APC is already more disposed to a Southern president. Many key APC Northern politicians are already rooting for Southern president. PDP needs more convincing. |
teamoneline:If we are agitating for Biafra or Alaigbo nation, then we should be able to at least set up more schools in SE to offer quality education instead of depending on FG unity schools. Little things matter in this struggle. |
IGBOSON1:'Saboteur' to the continued existence of 'one Nigeria' is a badge i'd gladly wear with honour! Bloody pretender! |
IGBOSON1:Naff off, saboteur! |
IGBOSON1:Remove emotion. Rise above prejudices. It helps every struggle. |
The DOT states are not doing badly at all. Many people misunderstand the plight of poor Northern children in this cut-off point show of shame. The reality is that while Northern elite send their children to top-drawer private schools, these young poorly educated cut-off-point victims never make it at SSCE and UME. They generally drop out, doing odd jobs and many becoming drug addicts. The young people who use quota system to secure plum jobs are still children of the elite. Head or tail the rich and influential win. |
Don't worry Interpol, President Uhuru Kenyatta will catch them and hand them over for INTERCEPTION purposes. ![]() |
Wait for IPOB to claim responsibility for this. ![]() Abeg, no joke oo! |

Tonto gushes over new lover. Churchill changes diaper of his son. Act 1 scene 1. |
Impressive WORDS from our Southern Governors' Forum. This is hoping that the accompanying ACTION will be impressive too. |
LLiKYekoba:God punish both your PDP and APC and those of you who f00l around within them. |
LLiKYekoba:Fulani PDP slowpoke using Igbo adage to buttress points, miracle. |
An Igbo proverb says that he who is surrounded by enemies employs eternal vigilance. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu broke the code of eternal vigilance. The deed has been done. He has fallen into the hands of his foes. IRONICALLY, he is securely kept in an underground cell like an animal in the ZOO. International law is blurred by international trade and interests of developed economies. Kanu offers LITTLE compared to FG. Kanu can only rue now and take what follows with equanimity. |
It is either Chief Edwin Clark is deceiving his people or he does not even care about the interests and welfare of Niger Delta people. Are you kidding me? You mean as leader of so-called Pan-Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), Chief Clark wasn't following the progress PIB in NASS and the caucus of ND lawmakers weren't briefing him on per-step-basis. I mean, even the Sultan of Sokoto and the nominal leaders of ACF, Audi Ogbe kept vigil on PIB on behalf of the North. Well, it is not completely late. At Senate/HOR harmonization level, Southern caucus MUST insist that 30% should be allocated to geopolitical zones to prospect for oil in each zone. Chikenna! In any case, PIB and all the percentages therein have little benefits for the common man. Like NDDC situation, the politicians will corner the percentages and help themselves. Unfortunately, once again, the Northern politicians displays wrong prioritization by focusing more on oil than developing crop production and animal husbandry that will employ and empower millions of young Northerners. Not yet uhuru for banditry to end. |

Baba Obasanjo is passionate about doing something about current Nigerian political situation. However, his high-handed and self-righteous attitudes, when he was President, are constituting a noise in his communication effort as well as creating a trust deficit in the minds of the current breed of politicians who view him as a bit hypocritical rather than as patriotic. |
Having worked passionately and tirelessly to promote the aspiration of Billionaire Dr. Godwin Maduka, would Mr. Alex Nwankwo betray his principal and jettison loads of money he is making from him to run for the same position of governorship of Anambra State himself, which he has almost zero chance of winning? Is it likely that having been left out in the cold by PDP national headquarters through the use a 'strange' list of delegates, Dr. Maduka was left with little option than to seek alternative platform to pursue his governorship aspiration? Is the SUDDEN emergence of Mr. Alex Nwankwo as governorship candidate of Accord Party more of 'name of Alex but aspiration of Dr. Maduka'? In other words, is Alex Nwankwo a proxy being used by Dr. Maduka to secure a platform and meet INEC guidelines and then at appropriate time, Alex the proxy gives way for Dr. Maduka the real candidate? For anybody who understands Nigeria politics, it is easy to decipher this Alex Nwankwo's political move on July 1 especially as that day was INEC's deadline for party primary election and submission of candidates. There is a feeling of deja vu here. Accord Party is that alternative platform for Dr. Maduka. Alex Nwankwo is a 'bloody' proxy. Q.E.D |
Wiseandtrue:First, a definition. Then we proceed from there. |
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is INCREASINGLY looking good to be a CONSENSUS presidential candidate by the contending interests in APC come 2023. |
We need to give a proper definition to the concept of "Igbo leaders". It is a bit muddled up at the moment. |
Well... |
Good write-up. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was too self-isolated and dictatorial with his IPOB being more of a personal cult or rather 'toy'. He dug a pit on his own path and eventually landed in it. Sad! |
