I doubt it. No evidence so far. |
While the root-causes of agitations are NEGLECTED by FG, National Assembly slumber on its fundamental mandate and security agencies obey last order ... ... today a SEED has been planted. The fear chapter has been closed. Mental block has been shattered. And this seed can only GROW unless FG and National Assembly stop living in denial and face the realities by addressing key nation-building MATTERS ARISING. |

As a recent threat-filled video showed, bandits have recognizable leaders in charge of specific territories and they are in those areas 24/7. They communicate with phones. They cook, feast and even conduct marriage ceremonies. Gov. El Rufai like most Northern elites are playing ostrich with Banditry because at present they are not directly affected. |
This Federal Government led by President Buhari exhibits OSTRICH attitude towards bandits in Northern Nigeria exhibit COWBOY attitude towards anti-government elements in the Southern Nigeria. In the long run, Northern Nigeria as region will be the ultimate loser in this "we own Nigeria" game. Meanwhile, in the short run, poor Northerners are the losers as they will continue to die in their numbers, their children's school years delayed, money budgeted looted by politicians and public officers and food shortage looms. It is this ostrich mentality that is exhibited by even the learned Northern legislators towards reviewing the constitution and restructuring with open minds. But one thing is certain, the agitations in Southern Nigeria can't go away until the MATTERS ARISING that caused them are thrashed. |
Go beyond what you see. Alex is a mere PROXY for Dr. Maduka to meet INEC July 1 deadline. At appropriate time, Alex will step down and Dr. Maduka will take over and run for governorship on his terms using Accord Party as platform just like Sen Ifeanyi Uba does on YPP platform. |

Fear is bad. Men of substance and goodwill intimidated to 'hide under the bed' by loafers and criminals who were empowered with arms. NEVER AGAIN! Meanwhile, I have a hunch that following the ESN's attack on homes of prominent Igbo personalities in Imo and Abia States as tagged "Sabo" by Nnamdi Kanu, some Igbo 'elders' held a midnight village-square meeting against him. They knew that if he succeeded in his IPOB cause, their safety will be under threat. It was likely he was lured to Kenya for promise of hefty donation and exposed to Kenyan authorities. Kenya Govt then exploited the situation for diplomatic and economic gains. Remember, this is just a hunch but it might contain elements of truth. |

BUA Group is working with Axens a French company on its refinery project. It is about economic interests. |

Nnamdi Kanu walked into an ambush because he had no trusted acolytes to run important errands. Lesson in leadership. |
TheGoodJoe:Yes of course! Have corrected the typo. Thanks. |
As young boy scout, we used to sing: "A Scout is a friend to all and brother to every other scout, no matter to what country, class or creed the others may belong." I believe the same principle applies even more strongly to professional police personnel. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu/IPOB should have known that killing police in Nigeria breaks the hearts of police officers anywhere in the world. It was a matter of time before INTERPOL, in espirit de corps, tracked and arrested him. |
IPIGSRDOTARDS:Hihihi why are you cursing your fellow rbrainwashed delusional reta@ded FLAT headed IPIG terrorist monkeys. |
IPIGSRDOTARDS:Smelly balderdash from a fat head. |
Allow professionals to do the f*cking AUTOPSY on late Usifo Ataga's corpse. Their report will say whether he was strangled, whether there are external and internal injury marks, whether he took drug, its name and quantity, etc. All these insinuations and speculations are untidy and useless. Do the needful first. |
If you are leader with a mob support-base, you need to be effectively in control and avoid firing up the mob by your speech and gestures. Otherwise, be ready to answer for any atrocity that is sure to come from the mob. Ken Saro Wiwa's mob murdered his kinsmen for dissenting and he had to answer for that capital offence. Ogoni nation the greatest loser. |
This is what happens when play 'money card' in negotiation with mob-like group. You settle the group. Just as you are congratulating yourself for successful negotiation, some members of the first group form new group and demand for their own settlement. Thus, the money game starts. One chance stuff! |
Not poor negotiation but outright corruption. Deliberate sabotage by trusted Nigerians through colluding with foreigners to steal from Nigeria for a small percentage kickback. A kind of treasonable felony, if you ask me. |
Obviously a bad experience for Aisha but I will wait till her uncle replies her before taking sides. However, one thing I have noticed in this life is that some people easily forget bad treatments given to them as children while some save them somewhere in their heads and wait for a payback time. Aisha's mother may have wronged this his brother while they were growing up and he kept it in his 'mental file' until a revenge opportunity arose. And you can see the same unforgiving trait being manifested in Aisha in this story. Only God knows how badly she will serve her own revenge if she had the opportunity. You see, FORGIVENESS is very easy to preach but hard, very hard to practise. Aisha our sister, sorry ma! |
Good write-up that recycles what are well-documented facts about the Yoruba. But what's the motive? In the last couple of years, Reno Omokri has consistently criticized the Yoruba while praising the Igbo with complimentary adjectives. Then, a few days ago, former President Goodluck Jonathan, his former boss, praised Yoruba people for managing Nigeria diversity better the other ethnic groups. Then all of a sudden, Reno Omokri pens a long Facebook post eulogizing Yoruba people merely to reflect the opinion of his former boss. It is obvious that all along, Reno Omokri had nursed acrimony against the Yoruba for not supporting Jonathan in 2015 Presidential election. He was more hurt than Jonathan himself. One thing is clear: most of the things Reno Omokri says or writes are hypocritical rather than sincere. |
mekaboy:I am ending it here. Enjoy your Sunday. Soludo Solution loading ... |
mekaboy:The money Obiano stole, gave us Anambra Airport, International Conference Centre, sports stadium and such key infrastructure. Of which Peter Obi was shortsighted to do. Peter Obi siphoned Anambra State through his brother Ndibe, laundered it through Fidelity Bank and boosted his business as well as built massive shopping malls. Which business has Obiano criminally set up as a governor? Peter Obi squandered billions of Naira that would been devoted to critical infrastructure by doling out hefty amount cash and bought thousands of giant generators (at a personal profit) and gave to schools and hospitals. Wrong priority for personal ego! |
mekaboy:So why didn't the advisers of Peter Obi tell him to stop stealing state money to boost his businesses, when he was state governor? |
mekaboy:Sustainable development starts with planning. Planning draws from research about current situation. Solutions to solve problems identified depend on generation of top-drawer development ideas from first-class brain like Prof. Soludo. Anambra State is set to fly like an eagle if majority of ndi Anambra says to Prof. Soludo candidacy. |
