You like to throw punches us, but get angry when we strike back grin grin

I see SANDF with MRAP pursuing Rhino poachers and failing at home.....nice photo, it's even in THIZA's album, just ashamed to post it
You really know nothing about military and I humbly asked you time without numbers to back off from all these military discourse. SA is different to Nigeria in which they operate and handle their armed forces. In SA the constitution does not allow SANDF to undertake certain operations except if it was only to give support.

If you find a road block and see military personnel don't be fooled and think that the operation is primarily undertaken by military, Nope, it is only there to give temporary support. You will find that in fact the operation is undertaken by the police through joint operations and have only broaden the involvement of SANDF to beef up security.

If you see SANDF on the streets of Johannesburg doing raids, please don't be fooled into thinking it is SANDF mission of fighting crime. Soldiers are not criminal busters, they are only acting on the orders of the police.

If you see SANDF at Kruger National Park, don't be fooled into thinking that the mission is undertaken by SANDF to fight poachers. SANDF is merely there to help and go, that's all. The primary mission is conducted by the park rangers and have only made a formal request to military for support. SANDF soldiers are not zoologists, veterinarians nor park rangers, they are only there to help, that's all. That's why you saw a park ranger leading the SANDF to the front on that picture you posted. It like the soldiers are saying lead us to the front. Hehehehe…

A military researcher should have known about it. I get the pleasure when I always have to teach researchers about stuffs that they don't know and of which are just basic.

You see why we say that you are a fraudster and imposter.

Which individual? I can also come out to say 50 000. Am sure boko haram killed are part of that number cos they are Nigerians too.
I am gonna have a problem if you do not understand English. "Individual" as in each separate attack ever reported since the insurgency started. The number usually exclude combatants and it comprises only of noncombatants.

Sorry but NE Nigeria is better than what you use to know. Economic activities are going on properly in the region now. And soon we won't case of boko haram again. 42 town maybe seriously affect but not destroyed.
What about the one of the recent where a general was attacked on a convoy.

Not as serious as your "internal problem" which has killed over 10,000 people, displaced over a million people and levelled or destroyed over 42 towns and cities
Almost over 20 000 people are recorded to have been killed in BH war since the insurgency started.

That means SANDF is so dumb you don't even know where your enemy comes from, Rhino poachers are from across border Zimbabwe and Mozambique, South Africa is being invaded by armed men and you cannot stop them for ever.....failed bush war at home grin grin

"South Africa is currently experiencing a catastrophic rhino poaching crisis, with 668 rhinos lost during 2012. It is now evident that Mozambique has played a key role in this illegal killing.

The vast majority of rhinos killed in South Africa are poached in Kruger Poached rhino Limpopo South Africa (C) Sarah NelsonNational Park, which shares a long, porous border (356km) with Mozambique, where most of the poachers come from. Poachers from Mozambique are easily able to illegally slip across the border into Kruger National Park, and even if South African National Parks rangers are able to detect them, they are unable to carry out the ‘hot pursuit’ once the poachers have crossed the border back in Mozambique. During March 2013 alone, Kruger Park recoded 72 known cross-border armed incursions from Mozambique. Of the 94 rhino related arrests in South Africa this year, 44 of these have been in Kruger (9 May 2013)."

https://www.savetherhino.org/rhino_info/thorny_issues/mozambiques_role_in_the_poaching_crisis
Truly the only person that is dumb here is you. Your concentration is on KNP which is on the border but you fail to recognise the fact that SA has hundreds more private parks on the inside far from borders where poarching also takes place to greater extent.

Many Rhinos are privately owned in South Africa and it is private game reserves which are mostly attacked. So, are you suggesting to us that SANDF should be used to guard private property? Nope that will seriously reduce the quality of SANDF.

SANDF cannot protect South Africa's borders from armed invasion, that is why Poachers cross in from Zimbabwe with rifles and ammunition to dominate a huge chunk of your fatherland in Kruger park including army owned land for many years unstoppable by your clueless army shocked shocked
.
That is untrue. Poachers are insiders and that has been proven many a times on their arrest. There are many game reserves which are attacked and which are far from the borders.

Poaching is not a war but just a crime.

PMC as private military men train American and European armies at home, that is nothing new.

Blackwater PMC in America trains US Navy seals special forces, one of the best SF in the world, they killed Osama Bin Laden !

NA mobile strike force of 120 men, a 'whole' unit of just 120 men trained by Eben and his 5 man trainers crew, while Russia trained most of the 5,000 NA COIN brigade....a whole 5,000 compared to Barlow trained tiny 120 .....yet the Russians are not going all over internet claiming glory like you desperate South Africans whose Bush war and COIN tactics is failing you in your own fatherland at home when used by the SANDF, it proves that SANDF needs Eben Barlow's training more than Nigeria grin grin
.
PMCs are banned in many countries including in Europe and so I fail to conceive your assertions that they still train militaries across the world.

Your research is very poor.

If those Rhinos are useless animals, why are you so worried about them you deployed a whole 21 battalion of SANDF and air force helicopters to fight save them? Why did you use aircraft to fly mere animals like VIP men to hide in escape to Botswana after the poachers defeated SANDF in your own homeland bush where your COIN and bush war tactics have failed you?

Those Rhinos are your natural resources with money value of millions dollars made on Rhino horns in the world market.

Same way if invaders from Zimbabwe cross border to steal your gold in illegal mining, will you say it's ordinary minerals not human beings?

It is the moral duty, and constitutional duty of ALL MILITARY FORCES in the world to defend the territorial integrity of their country when foreigners violate your land from another country, yes the territorial integrity and independence of South Africa is daily violated by Zimbabwean Rhino poachers, that is a job for SANDF your military, not your Forest Ranger men, your national land is now being invaded and your natural resources of Rhino horns is being looted daily in a brutal bloodshed of the Rhinos.

It is the duty of South African military to defend South Africa from armed foreigners, SANDF has failed at home, your COIN skills are ZERO and your Bush war tactics are a FAILURE in your own fatherland......thanks to your INEXPERIENCED ARMY and incompetent Generals tongue tongue

Your South African military has NOTHING to teach Nigerian military, we have succeeded in real combat, you have NEVER achieved that.

In only one sentence. Soldiers are not meant to look after animals and that has been exhaustively deliberated upon and concluded that it is not our area of responsibility apart from only giving support. There is currently a directorate specifically created for that purpose on the bureaucracy where in a reaction force to deal with poaching shall result.

Yes Nigerian army and air force fought in Angolan bush war and also trained ANC freedom fighters who now rule your country, that source was published here this year, clear historical account from the Nigerian military HQ, we trained you and fought for you cowards
.
Under United Nations you can never be allowed to be heavily armed to withstand any heavily armed troops. That has nothing to do with cowardice.

Let SA be involved in a full scale battle like Nigeria and be judged whether it has cowardice or not.

The only cowards we see are SANDF troops in Sudan who urinated in their p.ants when they saw Sudan skinny boys drive Toyota around their base going innocently on Ramadan patrol. South African troops decided to surrender without a fight ! Nation of cowards and chicken soldiers !
The man is clearly a soldier. Nigerian soldiers have a reputation of succumbing to a great deal cowardice and transforming themselves into women on the run. That is not new and what I see is that you are wasting your time trying to play spin doctor in what is already obvious.

I have seen combat academy in American Mojave desert far better than what you have in South Africa.
No combat academy allows tanks to fire on tanks and artillery to fire on artillery or jets to fire on jets.
You know nothing about it, what they do is MILES ON MILES infantry training with laser/alarms/man-marker fake bullets/etc and the aim is to show individual soldiers the chances that they get hit and die in close-in hand to hand man to man combat.
Your SANDF is just using rifles to mark each other's uniforms to show who was hit, fools are shooting rifle at fools, cowards on cowards, your battle school infantry men still fear Sudan boys in Toyota.
SAAF jets and helicopters have been shown in photos dropping bombs on empty space, sand and stones, hitting nothing ! Why don't your aircraft simulate a real battle and drop ammunition on your army who can fire back with anti-aircraft weapons like Boko Haram fires on Nigerian jets and helicopters in real life combat?
Nigeria does real live combat with air force and army weapons killing real enemies, not pretending in a battle school where the trainees know that the enemy is fake and nobody will die from fake bullets, your combat academy products are the same men in Sudan that realized that Sudanese boys can kill with Ak-47, and the useless battle school training did not give SANDF troops the courage to fight, they agreed to surrender if Sudan boys fire rifles first....Southies train cowards who remain cowards after all the fake training like theater arts on drama stage grin grin
.
Thanks, Can you tell me what do you meet before you enter the main entrance of Mojave desert battle center? That is so protruding that it can never go unnoticed.

Apart from everything else about what you commented is untrue. Tanks and everything else that is used in offensive by the land troops is used in battle centres.

So what is the Navy's fleet?

The Nigerian navy has over 400 vessThat in it's fleet. If half of these vessels are operational, it leaves the Navy with over 200 vessel in operation.

Patrick, over 200 vessels operational is still 10x more than your soweto fleet.
You are really pathetic!!! What do you understand about more than half? NN can never have a fleet any close to 400 young man.

That means NN with more than half of its fleet down, it cannot fulfill its constitutinal obligation and is down and out. Any navy under such conditions would not stand at anything and will literally fail.

We are not talking about the animals, we are talking about people who come there to kill the Rhinos.

Secondly you need to get things clear, what role did your expertise play.

I know we bought some equipment from South Africa and some hinds were also upgraded by South African company. It is normal to expect South African expertise expecially when we were in the middle of crisis.

We have to use what we bought from you. They came to provide training on how best to use your equipment and am sure you know they were paid for their service.

We cannot buy Russian equipment and expect to get the training from Americans. Expertise from other countries were also there for different reasons. So Wise up.
Rhinos are animals. Let them come and poach our people and see our wrath.

Eeben Barlow is not an engineer working for South African arms contractors, in fact he is an ex SADF special force who is a hardened fighter. He and his men trained Nigerian military and that's a fact.

Why is that, is it because South-Africa is always at the receiving end of my comments? cheesy cheesy

I agree with you, the JF-17 is a pretty impressive fighter for it's conservative price, it meets and exceeds all expectations of the Nigerian Airforce. If the JF-17 were western it would cost as much as the Gripen.

All though the SU-30 is class, I do not believe Nigeria needs the SU-30. It is a heavy high maintenance fighter, that very well meets our requirement but I don't believe we can afford it now. Probably in the future, but not now.

The block 3 looks fantastic. Here is another conceptual JF-17, let's call it the Super- JF-17. This upgrade could be a true rival to the Gripen NG.

The JF-17 provides the "bang-for-the-buck"!
I was recently adviced by some experts in aeronautical enginering that fighters with small or short wings at their tail is a bad fighter in terms of manuevrability and agility. I was told they are as well bad at controlling the air, that's why such fighters are slowly fading away. JF 17 is unfortunately one of such fighters even with their latest versions. Very bad indeed.

Sorry Darfur is a region and not a town. It comprises many cities others of which are in SAHARA.

http://www.gomapper.com/travel/list-of-biggest-cities-in/darfur-sudan-0.html

You are a real muda..... stupd

Darfur is devided into THREE regions, One of which is deep in SAHARA. You know nothing about Darfur. Which is completely in contrast with your claims that Darfur is outside SAHARA and just beneath it. You always like to resort to your goal post changing tactics especially when you pushed yourself to the corner and you tactically want to escape from it. Remember you are the same person that previously claimed that the air on top of the mountains is heavier than the air on the ground. I realised that your GEOGRAPHY is bad and you don't know it please have nothing to do with it and Instead make sure that your cash receipts and payment journals, ledgers and balance sheet statements are balanced and in order. Keep away from GEOGRAPHY you don't know it at all. You are good as accountant and I curse the country that employ you as military analyst when you hardly know anything that has to do with military. I pity any company that employ you as such so wholeheartedly. Anyway, thanks that you proved yourself as just an imposter through your own weak and ignorant constructive debate.

Well said, I agree 100% and I believe some of other Nigerians agree deep on the inside that @agaugust must keep away from Geography and military. I have been reading a lot of his posts lately and have seen that his reasoning has reduced into peanuts. I was further puzzled by the fact that he did not know that Sahara desert passes through Darfur, the region that I was once deployed. He is very ignorant indeed. He should hand over his account of Nairaland to someone else or follow other topics.

well, I was using the 'calendar year' to calculate it and also thinking that extra one day in 2008 makes it exactly 4years...thus,1460days/365=4....,,,1/1/2005-1/1/2009 is 1,461days/365.25=4 so the +1 day already cancels out 1/1/09.....but I get it now..,,,

Though the 1st-1st is not always accurate such as 30th June 2015 which actually ended at 11:59:60 instead of 12:00 1/7/2015,, 'cos there was an extra second added called the "leap second". it was 61sec instead of 60sec (11:59:59)..,,
Somehow,I think am right but I admit that I was wrong..
Lady how about if you make an appointment with a psychiatrist to check whether your brain function well or not. I told you that you will be wrong in 99% of probabilities. What if we shift the date to 3rd or 4th of January 2005, so will the same results remain? Nope.

So, to be certain that it will make four years at any day of 2005 you just have to read it from 2004. It will not make sense to put all your hopes on only one chance out of hundred chances.

I actually understand what you're talking about Nov 2005-Feb 2008 is 2years 3months,,,
I am only telling your brothers that 2005-2008 is also 4years I.e 1/1/ 2005-31/12/2008 because 2008 is leap year..,,
http://www.convertunits.com/dates/from/Jan+1,+2005/to/Dec+31,+2008.. About your birth this link explains it all... It has to do with either the inclusion/exclusion of the end day... I hope you understand...
Lady you have to count it from 2004 so that you can count the whole of 2005 to 2008 to get 4 years. Your accuracy will only be 1 out of 100 chances if you were to say that from 2005 to 2008 is 4 years and that would only be from the 1st of January 2005 to 31st December 2008. So, now what if we randomly choose the 2nd of January 2005, will the results remain the same? Nope, it will change everything and destroy all your argument since it will then have to extend to 2009 to make and complete 4years.

Your Project Biro is from 1991. It was conceptualised to replace your Strike craft, and expanded to include OPVs. Now, both the OPVs and IPVs are vessels you don't even have in service, that's 24 years and counting.

You wait 24 years to procure 3 IPVs and 3 OPVs, yet you still don't have any of them in service, the wait continues!

Every year is a Project Biro for the Nigerian Navy.
Your 24 years is green lie.

You are telling us lies chief. Your navy does not procure arms every year even when it is under tremendous amount of pressure to do so. Your navy sits in the middle of piracy of the highest order and so far their procurements are just unacceptable and underperforming.
