You can leave na. It's either that or you try to make your peace with being a jw. You don't have to leave immediately of course, if it's not convenient. In making your peace with it you can voice your concerns to your leaders so that they might (fingers crossed) make accommodations for you.

Unless you took informed vows, you can rightly turn back at anytime. In any event it is your own salvation that is said to be at stake. You are the best person to decide how to manage it.

For the record, I agree with you about the religion being too strict. There are easier ways to worship God.

Lying is sometimes the appropriate thing to do. A person might not be prepared for an ugly truth, such as news of the passing of a loved one. In this case you might lie to protect them. Killing is permitted in self defence, in defence of the state or society (by means of war or judicial execution), to save the life of a pregnant mother, etc. Are such killings wrong?

People who steal out of extreme privation are not usually condemned for stealing. Also, I can hardly see how you would consider it wrong if someone took away (stole) a weapon which would otherwise have been used for your injury.

God works in mysterious ways. Your friend has paid his tithe and you've gotten your money back. Perhaps God's reward to your friend for his tithe giving is the satisfaction of his debt to you. The tithe is meant to benefit humans anyway, not God.

Why does God permit ignorance? We could easily have been made omniscient. That we are not omniscient suggests that God wishes to keep some information from us. If God wishes to keep some information from us it suggests that the information is detrimental to God. If something is detrimental to God then God is not omnipotent. However God must be omnipotent. So, our ignorance suggests that there is no omnipotent God. This is how I explain our ignorance when it is claimed that God exists.

How would you explain our ignorance?

I mostly agree with you. The prayer was just rather emotive. Of course if Yahweh is, he is hardly loving. However, the ghastliness he exhibits is a product of the sort of minds that invented and perpetuate him.
