190km/h in a Peugeot 406 on KD - ABJ expressway in 2012. Car's acceleration was too slow to allow me max it, since you always seem to be barrelling towards another car or corner at that speed.
I maxed out a Sienna on the same road in 2014. That car has plenty roll. |

What danger? There is no info about where they are headed; battle zone or barrack? Whichever one, troops are usually transported in trucks (I haven't seen this articulated type before sha). It makes more sense than to transport them all in hiluxes. It's not like the hilux they use is bullet or bomb proof anyway. |

menesheh: Am an atheist. Then if am wrong nothing happens.
Or are you insinuating i will go to hell for not believing something without evidence and prove?
If yes, that is immoral of god by providing a vague prove and evidence of his existence knowing fully well that i will doubt his existence without enough evidence, the way i doubt many other claims like his, that has no evidence. He setup a bait so as to trap people he will send to hell, right?
That means he is not a justifiable God. Lol. You do realise that none of these can stop a supernatural being from roasting you in hell, right? |

Christianity Etc › Re: Homosexuality: A Go-ahead In The Usa,the Start Of Great Tribulation. by finofaya: 9:32am On Jun 27, 2015 |
Originakalokalo: now that it has been legalised, it will be done with impunity and it will rekindle God's wrath. It was legalized a long time ago, so it might be a little late for any rekindling to happen because of it. What is now sanctioned is same sex marriage, marriage being a natural outcome of allowing people to pursue romantic relationships. What I was asking is why you think homosexuality in particular will rekindle God's wrath. It's not the only directive we ignore. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Homosexuality: A Go-ahead In The Usa,the Start Of Great Tribulation. by finofaya: 9:09am On Jun 27, 2015 |

You're the one who boldly wrote folklore on it and went ahead to put it in /religion. I'm glad you know the meaning of folklore. You see, when you couldn't distinguish between folklore and religious belief. . .How am i sure you wouldn't brand me an adherent of egyptian religion when i open the thread which will be based on egyptian religious text mythology. The context is that its just folklore.... Myth and it bears no weight on reality..
i don't know about you but i enjoy mythology and am sure gonna open
a thread on Tribunal of osiris (egyptian concept of judgement) the first
judgement and afterlife concept recorded in history.
which ever way you take it to mean practically is your cup of tea. nairaland.com/religion. If one didn't know better they would think you put it here because you wanted to share any religious aspect of it. I'm sure we can learn a thing or two from the proposed thread on Osiris |

Mythologies are colourful and a great way of entertainment, believing them as truth is exactly what i don't do...am sure if anybody tries to establish this particular myth as truth, i will be here to refute and spurn it.
i love reading them. . so i posted this local indigenous folklore for the so aim of entertainment.
Myths should be taught as myth and fable as fable. .
Am starting to think you couldn't comprehend that. . . Please next time try and understand the context of a post before rushing to bring on a point that is non-existent... The context is that it is in /religion, but if you insist. |

johnydon22: it was trying to explain how day and night came to be just like other mythologies try to explain one thing or the other. . how earth came to be, how death came to be and other primitive mythologies.. the pyramid texts, bible, quran are all examples of works that possess such mythologies...
i expected you to know this... Knowledge is not agreement. You're an atheist. Atheists love objectivity. You spurn the other primitive mythologies you speak of. What is special about this one? |

So also this is also one of the 'why' stories-used to explain how day and night came to be Wetin bring bible inside this one? There is a satisfactory scientific explanation for night and day. |
