Wow...first to comment. This is really impactful. I have an extra year right now in the university. My mates have gone for youth service. I fought it hard with tears but constantly reminded myself that am not a failure and should stop the comparison. I am really intelligent but one thing led to the other which led to me having an extra year. Well am using this ASUU strike to learn some digital skills(graphics and video editing). My gee no reason all those things. I spent a total of 9years for a 4 year course. But today I am better off financially than any of my coursemate I know of that graduated before me, in fact the 3 of us who spent those 9years in school are doing very very fine, 2 are now married remaining me . So remain steadfast and prayerful, from experience people who spend extra years in school tend to be better prepared psychologically to handle the real life challenges. Be happy always.

Op I agree with you, I’ve had something similar, but mine was while taking weed. I was listening to a particular song “you’re too faithful to fail me”. Suddenly I lost consciousness while sitting down in my toilet and in that moment I was transported into a village, I was walking but nobody could see me, I walked until I got to an old house where two very old men came out and asked me how I got there, I was shocked they could see me, then one of them attempted to seize me, but I ran backward and the other old man said leave am na man be this. We talked for a while and they showed me a bush path to follow. Lo and behold at the end of the bush path was a motor park and at the park I saw so many of the big boys in my area and even some of my friends were the touts at the motor park. They were all surprised to see that I didn’t change while they all were now fat with pot bellies. I then called my dad to send me some money for transport. Note I still remembered his phone number even in the trance. I then boarded a vehicle heading to delta state before I regained consciousness. All these happened while I was still sitting down and that song was still playing. Till date I’m still scared to tell those my friends I saw in that trance about what I had seen in their future. I’m not saying this for anyone to believe me. But I pity those who think this life is ordinary. Hold God tight o, e get why.
