TODAY'S WORD FOR TODAY

MOVING FROM DOUBT TO FAITH
‘Lord, “Increase our faith.’’’ Luke 17:5 2013-02-25.
Why do we experience so much doubt? 1)
Because doubt satisfies our need for self-
protection. We don’t like to be wrong, to get
hurt, or to fail, so our subconscious reasoning
says, ‘It’s easier not to trust, to lower my
expectations so I won’t be disappointed.’ But you are disappointed, aren’t you? Why? Because
of your doubt. 2) Because doubting comes easily.
We don’t wake up in the morning and say to
ourselves, ‘Today I’m going to doubt God.’ No,
doubt moves into a vacuum; it takes over when
we don’t do the right things. ‘…Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of
God’ (Romans 10:17). If you don’t keep your
mind filled with God’s Word; you’ll be constantly
assailed by doubts. 3) Because doubters are easy
to find. Sometimes the people around us dwell on
all the obstacles and difficulties, opening the door to doubt. And once that stream starts flowing,
you get carried along with it.
4) Because
doubting is contagious. Doubt is easier to catch
than the common cold, and its carriers are words.
The Bible says, ‘You are trapped by your own
words’ (Proverbs 6:2 CEV). The words you speak (and listen to) will either build you up or tear you
down, increase your faith or decrease it. For
example, ‘What will I do?’ versus, ‘In God’s
strength I can handle it.’ Or, ‘It’s awful’ versus,
‘It’s a learning experience.’ Or, ‘I see no way out’
versus ‘It’s not too big for God.’ Words are powerful things. They determine your outlook
and approach to life. So in order to move from
doubt to faith you must start eliminating
unscriptural words from your life!

SALVATION
Give thanks to God for those who have recently
given their lives to Jesus for the first time. The
numbers across the nation are still small, but the
progress is encouraging. Pray that the Spirit of
Salvation will move across Wales again, as it did
so powerfully at the start of the 20th century, and that millions will find new life in Jesus Christ.
Pray for new evangelists to be raised up
throughout Wales.

That means: (1) Jesus understands your family
problems He had a family of His own. And on one
occasion they said, '...He's out of His mind...' (Mark
3:21 NLT) (2) Jesus understands when you feel overwhelmed 'Then Jesus said, "Let's go off by
ourselves to a quiet place and rest awhile." He
said this because there were so many people
coming and going that Jesus and His apostles

Jesus not only dealt with onthejob pressures, He had to organise, train and correct His own
followers, including a group of uneducated
fishermen, a bigot, and a despised tax collector.
(3) Jesus understands when you feel rejected The
town He grew up in had no use for Him: 'He
came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.' (John 1:11 NKJV) When Philip said, 'We have
found the one whom Moses wrote about... He is
Jesus...from Nazareth,' Nathaniel replied, 'Can
anything good come from Nazareth?'(John 1:45
GNT) And Jesus' family tree was nothing to write
home about either. Rahab was a prostitute, Jacob was a crook, David was an adulterer - to name
just a few. Yes, Jesus understands. He knows
where you're at today and He's able to help you.
So talk to Him!

before you apply please read the conditions well and examine ur options. Dont be in a haste. As I was applying, just down towrds the end, i read where one would be made to refund all expenses if the scholarship is not honoured. Taking myself as a case study, i am already in school, cant really find myself going to study medicine though I wanted to. My problem is with those countries, with all the news making headlines and front page, Nigeria is still having bilateral ties with Ukraine.

Heard Cuba is good for Medicine, how true?

If yes, I don't think multinational companies advertise for this

There's still nothing wrong in letting others know even if it's for intern. My friend wanted to submit her cv only for her to find out that the test had already been scheduled for yesterday. If she knew earlier that the applications were submitted last year she might have had a chance of writing the test.

P.s I hear that another test will stil be written by may, so stil send your IT letters. The test was written early due to the leakage of test questions associated with last year's test.

Hi, I wil love to be put through all these admission and visa hassles.
My younger brother is yet to write his waec this year and i'm looking out for schools abroad for him. The best bet is Us(houston texas) ås i got some family friends there that can act ås sponsors.
I have gone through the admission requirements at UH and they need Toefl for non native English speakers.
My questions include:
1. How do i go about registering Toefl and Sat for him. The cost and if anyone has relevant materials for these exam, i would be glad if they are sent to my email:prettieinluv2008@yahoo.com.
2. What other skuls in the state is relatively cheap, how about UCLA or any other school ås He wants to do any IT related course or Engineering.
3. Must one's sponsor be a relative, can it be a family friend residing it the states?.
I want to start ås early ås possible to see if everything will work out before fall next year.
From all that i have read so får, you need to be admitted before you can start to think of visa processing. I reside in the east and will be grateful if immediate guidance is offered. Thanks

I love this book. It's free yet so inspiring. It speaks volume to me. It has taught many things and is helping draw nearer to God.
Talking about the different boundaries people set, is so true. Sometimes i'm rigid but never permeable. But i've learnt to be flexible in all things. Ås Gal6 puts it. Every many must carry his load and reap what ever he sow. I'm so following this topic. Thanks for taking your time to post this.

You are very wrong with this assertion. A man who lives on my street was kidnapped, ransomed paid and dead body found. That was early 2012 or late 2011. Can't remember. Last year November, my friend's dad was kidnapped, no ransome paid. Body found dead after a week or so causing them to have a black christmas when they had their silver jubiled in mind. He is a navy officer. Retired two weeks b4 abduction. There has been so many of them. A very popular man in Imo state and a special adviser or so has been kidnapped since 4months ago. Rumours have it this week that he has been found dead. I pray it's not true cos i'm yet to confirm

After seeing the numbers of pages (3 out of 4 pages I think) showing people from their host communities(Rivers states and Co.), I was shocked! Why didn't they tell us they were just awarding peeps from that specific area. I could hardly see a northerner in the list and THEY CONDUCTED THIS EXAM IN VARIOUS ZONES IN NIGERIA! I couldn't believe my eyes yesterday, NA CRIME FOR ONE TO BE A NON-SCIENCE STUDENT, THOUGH I'M A SOCIAL SCIENTIST SHA. Few numbers of shortlisted beneficiaries to be candid with all their money and absent peepz that didn't do the exam in Lagos. Damn!

I agree with you hook, line and sinker. Even from the shortlisting process. The only person shortlisted from my dept us from one of those areas. Come to think of it agbami and nlng wroyte that same day and some wanted to leAve agbami for nlng.
Thank God he didn't, atleast he is dancing with agbami money now.
