He told the journalists that the only challenge Argentina had was to qualify from the group, after which they could eventually win the WC, though he hoped his Spain could also win...

So the refs should have turned blind eyes to all the fouls against Argentina just to please idiots like you, right?
England got two penalties in the quarterfinal, as well as several other teams, even France got two penalties the finals, but nobody accused any of them of getting favoured by FIFA but Argentina..

Population, fans, endorsement and adverts are source of income for fifa. Brazil didn't do well against croatia and later would likely lost to Argentina in the Semifinal. Portugal didn't do well against morocco. Fifa didn't manipulate that because Morocco stands for Arabs, Africans and Islamic world. Of course, Ronaldo also has a huge fans. Brazil v argentina semi-final would have been an historical game with many eyes watching it. Either Brazil or Argentina at the semifinal was a good deal for Fifa with either of them facing france or portugal at final.
