No mind them. They think they can deceive Nigerians.

Imagine, a former governor, a statesman's burial shrouded in secrecy! We know they are lying. A man who stole money and escaped from the clutches of the UK police like a criminal; he came home and his people celebrated him. Imagine! They said he is their son and he stole their money so we should leave him alone cos it's no business of ours.

Primitive clannishness.

Do you know Jesus Christ was executed as a thief?

Its not about stereotype. Toyota, unlike Honda DO NOT experience any expansion of front chassis under normal driving situation except its been involved in a front end or trans axle issue.
Read thru my first comment before you tag me stereotyping.
I still maintain that Toyotas such as Sequoias, 4Runners, Camrys and even Corollas have been in such situations. I have been involved a couple of times, I have friends who can narrate their experiences to you and I have also witnessed same with my koro koro eyes.

Has any case been lost by the government so far?

Does the legal system of Nigeria or any democracy allow the federal government to conclude cases within any duration desired by the executive?

That people have been arrested and are being prosecuted amidst crocodile cries of witch-hunting and "leave our brother alone", isn't that commendable enough? Or are the funds and assets recovered so far not worth anything to you?

Or were you expecting that Jonathan should have been arrested, prosecuted and executed within this past 9months? All of that will certainly happen in due time within the framework of the law.

People like you who remark that "let us hear word joor", are the very people who feel threatened that the culture of corruption that has fed their families is being threatened.

For that reason any president that dares to speak ill of corruption is an enemy.

Truly, you are a jambite. What was NTA before Senator BMB took over and in what condition did he leave it? He did for NTA what no other DG has ever done. He ensured that every state got at least one NTA station.

Did you ever watch NTA before his DGship (sorry to even ask as you may be too young to know)? It was he who improved the sound and quality of NTA broadcasts and also took NTA international.

Ask questions next time or read books and literatures to update yourself before going public. Are you not surprised that you are the only one asking about his credentials and performance at NTA? Everyone of age at that time know his pedigree in broadcasting management and administration and that's why they are not bringing it up...

Please, pump your tyres to recommended psi and both signs will disappear. So also remember to check and inflate the spare tyre to the recommended psi. Honda Pilots from 2009 model year till date have similar system.

For instance, the master or general warning light ⚠ comes on, even if you don't put on your seatbelt along with the seatbelt warning light. This master warning light does not come up alone, its always accompanied with another light(s) which will be the indicator light for the actual issue the car is having. I think its a new safety measure to double warn motorists (just my thoughts anyway).

And again, if all your tyres are not the same size, for example, mixing 15" rims with 16" rims, it may lead to such.

tuale4u:

Are u saying Nigeria Judiciary or supreme court are more objective than that of United State! Please can u clearly defend that?
You are trying to divert attention here.

I didn't make any reference to the objectivity of any court. All I said is that, the procedures and processes observed or undergone in appointing Supreme Court Judges is not the same in Nigeria and in the US. My say was on the selection process as the Nation Newspaper (your source) pointed out and not the objectivity of the courts. That can be a discussion for another thread, not this one...

In Nigeria, unlike the US, the President of the Federal Republic has little or no influence officially in the selection process of Judges to either High Court, Appeal Court or Supreme Court. The Nigerian Judiciary has a way of selecting its own judges devoid of external interference, this does not mean the Executive (President) cannot have underhand or underground dealings in trying to influence the decision of the selection process. If this is done, it is often done discretely and in secrecy so that people would not know what has happened.

This brings the case of Rotimi Amaechi to mind, when he tried to meddle in the appointment of the Rivers State Chief Judge. He couldn't have his way as he was met with stiff opposition because it is not within his powers to select whoever the selection process brings up for subsequent appointment.

http://thenationonlineng.net/485271-2/

From this news from CNN, we can understand and relate better with Prof Itse Sagay position on d Judgement. Anorher set of Supreme court appointed under a different circumstance could have given a different Judgement.
The problem with the Nigerian situation right now is just the attitude of the current FG, being led by the APC, who believes more in media trials and trying people in the Court of Public Opinion where Judges are people who know nothing or next to nothing on how law is being applied but are influenced by their persuasions, beliefs, opinions, bias, emotions, affections or hate to judge issues.

By so doing, the APC bring legal or judicial issues to the public domain and try to persuade or sway public opinions in their favour without recourse to the laws of the land and its applications. This gives a biased public opinion even before the Judges sit on the case, thereby making it look as if the Judges have been influenced to deliver judgements in favour of or against a certain party or parties even when they apply the law to the latter. Olisa Metuh's case comes to mind, where he has been arrested, convicted and even imprisoned before he actually appeared in Court to be set free and discharged of all charges against him...

http://edition.cnn.com/2016/02/13/politics/antonin-scalia-supreme-court-replacement/index.html

The death of US supreme court Judge and fight over who should nominate his successor in d US clearly prove that Supreme court Judges dont just follow law verbatim but interprete it base on thier conviction, ideology and personalities. In the US, we can see the effect of Obama appointed Supreme court Judges in appriving gay marriage and forcing it on US federation.

This we can clearly see in Nigeria with the recent Judgements by PDP appointed Supreme court Judges. None of d Judges in d Supreme court is appointed by APC or Buhari. We can clearly see why PMB is saying Judiciary is his headache. Because most of the Judges were appointed under pro corruption ideology.

If who appoint Judges matter in such an advance democracy and rich country like US, then u can imagine d impact in a poor country like Nigeria.

PDP supreme court Judges made thier Judgement to prevent PDP rapid extinction. They only just returned d favour done to them by PDP.
1. This your ish is devoid of any form of altruistic reasoning. The process, way and manner of appointing Supreme Court judges in the US is very different from what obtains in Nigeria. So, there is absolutely no basis for your write up...

2. Are you inferring that the Judges of the Election Petitions Tribunal that were contradicting themselves were appointed by PMB to do APC's bidding?

3. Do you also know that all the Appeal Court judges that gave contradictory judgments against the PDP were appointed under PDP Governments? Thus, inferring that they did PDP's bidding by cancelling election results or annulling elections that favoured PDP and in son cases awarding it to the APC?

My dear, you need to sit down and think properly before you make any write-up. What I read in your post smirks of cretinic (sic) and myopic reasoning...

wirinet:
PDP/IPOB wailing capacity is beyond belief. They have the ability to wail over any and every issue concerning Buhari. They wail about his wife's wrist watch, they wail about te children's school, they wailing about his personal doctors. So Buhari cannot use doctors he had been using since 1978 because of wailers. The same wailers that have been wishing him dead. They have dashed Buhari all kinds of diseases like cancer, liver problems all sorts of diseases, intact the chief wailer predicts he will die before the swearing in ceremony.

meanwhile when their hero flies into London hospital to cure hangover, they were praisers then. When Akpabio went to the same London to cure sprained ankles, they became defenders then. They did not remind Jonathan to use the well funded aso rock clinic then. They forgot Akpabio built a world class hospital then.

Wailers were initially praisers who transformed to defenders.
Can you please read the topic again? To see if it was referring to either GEJ or Akpabio?

Thank me later...

No. I meant sacking of the VCs. The way they put the news is making it look like as if they were sacked. That is a wrong, bad and devilish way of reporting something that never happened. In Nigeria, VCs get one tenure of 5 years and after that you leave the office, no matter what is going on. So it is not a case of sack but a case of end of service or do I say completion of tenure...

About the 4 Profs from one University, please let me ask you? Are they all indigenes of Kano State? Former Minister of Education Prof. Ruqa'at Rufai, hails from Jigawa State and Lectures in BUK, Kano. So, there is no gainsaying that he appointed them from one school.
