fratermathy:It ain't a must for PMB to succeed. If he fails and things get worse, there is one thing that is sure to happen. There would be a change that would be enthroned by common men like you and I and that change is called a revolution. But, unfortunately many of us always see revolution as shedding of blood and wanton destruction of life and properties. That would not be Nigeria's case as we are far wiser than that and won't shed blood or destroy properties in the revolution that would follow if PMB failed. Like someone said earlier, he (PMB) can only fail himself any get the hell outta our system, did Naija fail when it was assumed that both OBJ and GEJ failed... |
Kx:Yes. Indeed, it is a very tough (t)ask. Removal of fuel subsidy has been on the front burner in Nigeria for a long time, but each time it comes up for mention, the opposition then (ruling party now) always make it political to denigrate and deride the then ruling party and instigating people to bring the economy to a standstill. Now, that they are in power why are they going the same way they fought tooth-and-nail against and leveraged on to get into power? I hope you do understand why it is a tough task now... |
negga4al:Where did you keep this your stats and argument when GEJ wanted to remove subsidy? Oh! I forgot. You were too busy fabricating lies with Lai Mohammed and making stoopid useless analysis with Fashola. So much for hypocrisy. Let God be your judge... |
Kx:Would you have said or done same for GEJ... |
The MDX I know. Abeg, which one be Ford Edge again na? Abi Ford wan fall for the Edge. Lol... Like Abatically said No competition. Ford edge ain't a match for Acura mdx. Even a 2010 mdx is a better car than a 2014 ford edge.... Because they are not in the same class. The Edge is a much smaller car in a lower class than the MDX, but why are Nigerians always comparing cars for different markets, in different classes sef? Small time them go begin compare MB G-Wagon with Toyota RAV 4/Highlander... |
ruggedtimi:You are lying. I was in Nembe on election duty. It was APC guys that were going round the town looking for PDP guys so they could kill 'em. I had to scamper for safety as I have no business in the bullet-stopping business (lol). Don't talk about things you know nothing about. That's commonsense wisdom. |
Its a Volvo XC (1st pic) And not an Honda Pilot (2nd pic) The headlamps did you in...
|
If this is true, Alaibe see what you've reduced yourself to. A common prostitute. A very common one that sef... |
itstpia8:Stop sounding oafish, you are becoming irritating. Nobody takes canoe as a means of transport from Yenagoa to Akassa. You sounding as if you know jack, have you ever travelled with bicycle from Lagos to any part of the country? Apart from those mighty market boats which are like trucks (trailers and gwongworos), Speed boats are regulars on that route like normal commuter cross country buses and cars, while canoes are like bicycles used by farmers and fishermen to commute between their homes and their hustling posts. Thank you. Your mischief has been noted... |
Oshiomhole Special Adviser on Media, Prince Kassim Afegbua said rather than respond to issues, Okonjo-Iweala was making self-indicting statements on how she denied Edo people the funds needed to develop critical infrastructure. The bolded makes Oshiomhole sound like a demented man bereft of ideas who won't even recognize water if it hits him in the face. For crying out loud, Oshiomhole is supposed to be a State Governor, generating revenues for his state and using same to develop the State and better the lot of his people, instead, he's cap-in-hand going around begging, for funds to borrow and putting the blame on some else. What a minion. “She should be ashamed to even state that she denied Edo people infrastructure loan, when she could not redeem what was due to the state. Would there have been need for loan request if she was truly in firm control of the economy under her watch? Can Adams publish what was owed Edo State that was not remitted to him when NOI held sway as Minister? It was Adams that went looking for loan and not NOI. In this case, I think its Adams that has mismanaged his State's resources and as such is seeking a loan for a bail out and not the other way round. Next, he might be blaming OBJ for being President when he was labour leader. |
kay29000:Oh my! The bolded is greater than my weight. I come in at a petite 72kg and am feeling obese already. Damn! She must have been walking around with the world wrapped around her body. Lol... |
ShowYourCertificate:No. He is actually a paid agent. He works for Lie Mohammed. He has the same lying genes Lie Mohammed is made off and is also working assiduously to earn his keep. So much for a lying career... |
PunkyVeer:May you not end up an Mgbeke, in Jesus name. Amen... |
QuotaSystem:That's the operational phrase there. Every time "will soon", "shall", etc. Will tomorrow ever come? |

You call MotoringTrend people having the same thinking with me? Then there is no point in going on with you. Believe what you may, think what you wish. For me a Toyota car is exactly what it is, A Toyota car and not any ish and it doesn't cut it for me. Whatever rocks your boat, Bro... What was that your question again? |
princeogbeide1:Every man to his own. What is ideal to you is crap to someone else. Stop sounding like an average Joe (no pun intended, please). What you find ideal in a Toyota, I find ideal in an Honda and someone else finds ideal in a Nissan, while someone other blokes my find their ideal in a Mitsubishi or Mazda. I don't do generalizations. Just go to many online reviews and check the following out... princeogbeide1:Am not being realistic because I don't share that "My Toyota is Fantastique" view? LOL... Everybody must not be a Toyota lover na. There are so many cars out there that are better than the Toyota in their class... |
princeogbeide1:Yes! I would. That's why I have owned at least 2 Nissan cars in the past as I'm not tripped by all this Toyota ish. I hate hypes... |
princeogbeide1:Lol... I've done that ab initio when I suggested he should look for any car being used as taxi in his locality and someone was asking me why? |
princeogbeide1:Daihatsu is not related to Nissan, please... I guess you were referring to Datsun which is an automobile brand owned by Nissan. Datsun's original production run began in 1931. From 1958 to 1986, only vehicles exported by Nissan were identified as Datsun. In 1986, Nissan phased out the Datsun name but re-launched it in 2013 as the brand for low-cost vehicles manufactured for emerging markets. Daihatsu is related to Toyota. Daihatsu was formed in 1951 as a successor to Hatsudoki Seizo Co. Ltd, founded in 1907, as part of Hatsudoki's major restructure. During the 1960s, Daihatsu began exporting its range to Europe where it did not have major sales success until well into the 1980s. Since February 1992, Toyota distributes Daihatsu models as part of its North American distribution. |
princeogbeide1:Big fat lie. I used to own a 1999/2000 Nissan Primera SE with a 2.0i engine mated to an automatic transmission. I used it for over 2 years before selling it off. I never had any engine or transmission issues with it. The reasons I sold it was because it was slow for me as I like fast cars being an Honda guy and also that I have used it for more than 2 years (I'm a high car turnover guy). I had also owned the 2005 Nissan Almera Tino with a 1.8l engine mated to an automatic transmission which I also sold because of its drag. It was really a big bore driving that car men! If I complained of the Primera being slow, then I can comfortably say the Almera Tino doesn't move at all. I never had any engine problems with any of these cars. Moreover, almost all car engines today are made of aluminum and that includes the speed machines made by the BMWs, the MBs, the Porsche, Ferraris, Auston Martins, Lamborghinis, etc. You see why we said you lie? Lol. The Lexus, Toyotas, Hondas, Nissans, Mitsubishis, Kias, Hyundais we all drive today as I write this are all made of aluminum engines... |
No doubt the Lexus is a solid ride, but I think I still prefer the Hyundai to the Lexus mostly based on the production year than anything else. |

Promxy94:Any car being used as a taxi in your area/location is a good buy anyday anytime. Please, help your friend check if that Nissan Sunny is among the favorite cars for taxi where he intends to use it. That would guarantee availability of parts and ample manpower to help him fix the car if issues turn up. Did I forget about fuel economy? Lol... |
urchltd:Something must be wrong with you. If he decides to go to Ladipọ and make it lock free, how much do you think it will cost him? Your greed go tidy you very soon... |
Siena:Abeg @Siena, I tire for these guys too o. They think and feel other car makers are resting on their oars while MB is ever breaking new grounds. Guys, That's so colloquial. Have any of you done the Genesis before. MB is no doubt a good brand, but other car makers have been able to teach them a lesson or 2 in so many ways. Stop this MB is the ish thing jọọ. Every car has its ups and also it's down... |
dukeolumde:Check at carmudi... |
king406:Not with an Acura TL Type S. At speeds in excess of 200km/hr, that's when you begin to see why you paid more for it over its Honda sibling, the Accord EX-L V6... Guy, bone yarns jare. That Acura can go... |

PLEASE
