Politics › Re: APC Must Zone The Presidency To South East Or Igbos Will Vote For Northern PDP by flyingpig: 12:00pm On Jul 03, 2020 |
Dear Mynd44 and OPPPS
I hope you read this submission.
Do you think SE leaders are not gunning for Presidency on platform of PDP? You'd be dead wrong if that was your assumption. They are, but very careful not to act it out, especially since 2021 should be the year for politicking ahead of 2022 National Congresses to select Presidential candidates or zone it to blocs.
I believe this is the permutation of SE leaders, if they make OPEN their desires of Presidency on PDP platform and make zealous moves to clinch it, APC can easily read their message and zone their presidency to South West since SW is to APC, what SE is to PDP ( a southern bloc ).
But a SW presidential candidate under APC will easily win Presidential elections than a SE presidential candidate under PDP, due to the power of incumbent party. More so, allowing SW to rule means it is going to be some 16 years of SW and Northern rule before power returns to South for the East to clinch.
Summary is, clinching the ticket under PDP means handing over Presidency to South West. So that is why SE leaders prefer Presidency on APC platform because incumbency power is still very strong, if you want to emerge presidential elections winner. |

This is embarassingHow does a man from SS represent the political interest of SE This people should not sell our birthright to SS please. Amaechi is from SS and SS has had their shot at Presidency through GEJ in very recent years.
His name should be substituted or rather omitted biko. BTW is it not the same Transport Minister Amaechi who put Akanu Ibiam Airport under lock for up to a year now and counting. Is it not the same Minister who supervised the rail project where SE was not captured? It is a shame what this group is doing. Some newspaper Editors shouldn't be promoting groups who don't even appear sensible in their quests. |

naptu2: [s]Now that your attempt to turn this thread into a battleground has failed[/s], can you please show me where I celebrated any tyrant? Do you have issues with comprehending simple posts? That was never my attempt, maybe in your puerile imagination it was, but I never declared such intention. I said what I said because that is my opinion, which has no underlying intention. As for the second bolded aspect of your post. Publishing an elating "editorial" about a late coupist, tyrant, thief, and seeking to inform this modern generation about a late "successful" army general, and how he served in each army rank, my God have you exhausted the history of "good men" in our society who can be a mentor to this generation You all wonder why Yahoo Yahoo is on the rise, but don't do the right things. Free our minds from the memories of corrupt men who lived among us, or if you must publish them, likewise indicate how their lives ended tragically so that who has eyes can see and dissuade themselves from picking him up as a role model. |

Not too surprised. You go on with the blind support just to latch on 2023 presidency for people from your SW region. Very tribalistic people. To your kind, the country can keep burning so far your presidency dreams remain achievable. One day to come, the fire which you have not quenched, will follow and consume your aspirations. |

Health › Re: Doctors And Pharmacists Come Lets Talk About This Now by flyingpig: 11:06am On Jul 02, 2020 |
ChybuzzDD: If the pharmacist was able to access the patient's medical records, it only means the patient had previously been in the hospital, unlike in Nigeria where the pharmacy shop is usually the first point of call. Again, medical records are confidential, and I strongly doubt that a pharmacist could have accessed it from his shop simply by logging into a computer. He might have contacted the hospital without you knowing the full details of the processes taken. Finally, even if that really happened, it was made easy by the fact both the patient and pharmacist acted responsibly. The American patient knew his medical condition, and was able to inform the pharmacist, who equally knew that medical history is important in drug prescription. The story is different in Nigeria where patients do not know or care about their diagnosis, and respond swiftly with "God forbid" or "it's not my portion" even when told. I've noticed that each time I meet an Indian patient, he'll usually use the initial 2-3 minutes to give full details of his medical condition, demonstrating full knowledge of his problem. That's a totally different thing in Nigeria, where you'll even look like an enemy when you tell a patient about his diagnosis.
The problem of the healthcare system in Nigeria is very complex, and the blame runs from the individuals/patients to the government. I understand you, that the blame should be apportioned both to individuals and to government. Individuals act out of ignorance, government is better informed than them, shouldn't it be the duty of government to inform patients through strategic campaigns, on the importance of keeping your medical records both by your self and with your doctor? Some section of the populace may be illiterates or poorly educated, so it is in good advice that government should conduct a sensitizing campaign on keeping medical records. People don't just know things from birth. Well, a government enforced or guided synergy between physicians and pharmacists can help pharmacists assess medical records of patients which should be in database of hospitals. My opinion because I'm a student pharmacist in Nigeria |
