How do these guys pull off these kind of humongous frauds? The restitution alone tells you the quantum of money he must have defrauded the financial institutions |
Make una rejig naa and stop worrying us. It is still going to be the same set of politicians. Are the new ministers not going to be Nigerians and politicians? |
A commendable gesture. ![]() But my 7500 earned in 2004 as a corper was of more value than the 77k of 2024. |
Despite the overbearing influence of his father, even getting him into the Real Madrid academy. Parents should provide guidance and mentorship to their kids and not imposing any career on them. Some people that could have excelled as footballer never got the chance to enter well-known football academy. Some got their kids into the academy but their kids couldn't deliver. I will keep monitoring my kids to know where their respective aptitudes lies instead of imposing anything on them, just for personal pride and glory. It is good to provide your kids with options and the benefit of each career and let their aptitude guide their eventual decision. |
I don't want to sound unpatriotic but it is high time we started appointing minister of education from the Southern part of the country. I cant remember the last time somebody from the South was appointed as minister of education. Even among educated elites in Nigeria, the perception of education between a northern person is different from that of southern person. It even becomes more glaring in the way both region approach education and what should be done and not done; what is ideal learning and what is not; how education should be pursued and how it should not be pursued. ![]() |
The quality of of human beings in Nigeria is extremely low. It becomes even lower when one moves up north the country. This is the reason why the world doesn't bath an eyelids when news like "500 people died in Nigeria or Africa". But once there is a news of five people dying or shot dead in US or Europe, it would become news. |
Jokay07:I swear you beat me to it. Imagine the money and logistics spent on this press conference? The way FCT Police command is going about this guy's case would make you to think that they have arrested a notorious armed robber, terrorising FCT for decades. Anyway, that guy is done! |
He would be released. The party will put up a bail application and he would be out of police custody |
Does it matter? Elections are no more rigged at the polling stations. Elections are rigged at the INEC collation Centres and in the offices of resident INEC persons. They announces the results and if you are not ok with it, you go to court. |
Even though I agreed with you on this your statement, you still supervised one of the most flawed elections in Nigeria. Your choice of corrupt Maurice Iwu as INEC Chairman and imposition of Andy Ubah on Anambra, were extremely corrupt practices, that were beyond redemption. You may be pardoned of some of your electoral malpractices you committed then, as your administration was the best, in terms of economic policies and management of resources. We were able to jump from one good job to another because of huge opportunities that existed in the telecoms, banking, consulting and other sectors, respectively. Comparing your administration to the current one of Tinubu, economically, is like comparing apple 🍎 to bitter lemon 🍋 |
I dont know why flags of different nationalities that make up Nigeria are more beautiful and finer than our own national flag. Even this Yoruba nation flag is fine, with that Oduduwa logo. Same with Biafra, with the rising sun logo. Even the Benin, with that queen Idaa portrait and the Niger delta, with arrays of stars printed on it. Is it not time to modified the green-white-green flag? ![]() |
Billionaires, yet, they have no productive venture they are into, other than politics. ![]() |
Nigeria's State's government are the most corrupt. The number of moribund companies established by respective states of the federation are many. They will establish a company and after some years, defund it and allow it to collapse, wasting taxpayers money. Many state owned textile Mills, flour Mills and agro allied industries are not operational. No thanks to entrenched corruption within the system |
I hope it works E- call up for substance-consuming drivers, that behaves anyhow, with zero understanding of road traffic signs ![]() Science and technology goes hand in hand with human capital development. If the later is not developed, the former will find it difficult to function. The reason why most things abroad are done electronically and people queue behind to follow the rules of technology. |
He is a good boy of Lagos APC. He is not Obidient. ![]() The good thing about APC in Lagos is that they look after their own, irrespective of your tribe or state of origin. ![]() |
Make him perform o! or else, the Turkish press and fans will have him for a dinner |
"Ogboni" goes to Church just because of election ![]() Anyway, religion is the opium of the masses. You can use religion to put millions of people in chains and they will remain there, even singing your praises join. |
Some mothers will use this opportunity to know their daughters that are not virgin. As a young girl/lady, if you fail to participate in the virgin festival, expect some barrage of questions from your mother ![]() |
Lalami3232 is coming with his sermon.......1,2,3.......go! ![]() |
He also likes luxury, looking at his house. I thought the followers hates earthly things and luxury. ![]() Na thought I thought o, no be say na true I dey talk ![]() |
Couldn't they have met via zoom and discuss than spending millions to have face to face meeting that didn't last more than 1 hour |
PJtech:This is totally UNACCEPTABLE!!! We should be civil in our comments. We like turning things into an open confrontation in this forum. Her comment was made in utmost good faith and you turned it into an abuse. |
I knew it must be the handwork of Sowore, the Sahara reporter. ![]() I actually doubted if he could say that. His best bet would be, not to participate in the 2027 elections, which may likely happen. He may just endorse a candidate instead of deputising or actually participating. He has lost momentum and greater part of his followership |
Na una sabi. It may be true, but when it comes to my own daughter, I am going to have the final say, even if my wife approves. Her approval may be based on some cosmetics, but as a father, I got to dig deeper on who the nigger is, to avoid handing my precious daughter over to fools, masquerading as men. Women hardly decode those kind of men. Women may accept someone by the way he dresses, speaks and makes fun. I can smell packaging and well-faked-packaged persons miles away. |
He should go and sit down. Obi is a lightweight politician, who didn't understand how power works in Nigeria. You don't just come from nowhere and wants to be the president of Nigeria. You had the opportunity to vice Atiku in the last election but you refused. The fact that you ran with him in 2019 should have made you to shift ground for him and still worked with him. With that, Atiku would create opportunity for you in the future. That's how Nigeria politics works. You must have given in something in the past to get something. Nigeria's politics is wired differently and you must understand how it works. The truth is, Obi has lost steam. The obidient movement of today is not the same as 2023. |
Kh36:See that nurse, looking at Tinubu as if she was checking out something . Tinubu's aides should have told the nurse not to follow them out of the hospital. Quick recovery, Mr. Presido |
How many lives have you impacted? You may not agree with me, but Ronaldo is somehow, self-centered. He wants everything to revolves around him. |
I don't know what some Nigerians saw in this guy that they are rooting for him. Someone that doesn't care about you, your country, your continent and even your family members resident in US. |
"I am sure you guys at Investment banking are at the same level with those in multinational IOCs". I pretended as if I didn't hear that. She repeated it again before she entered her car, I smiled and didn't answer. Later that night, she dropped the same question on blackberry chat. I began to carry out further investigation......it finally ended ![]() |
The country still has one of the highest rate of productivity per person in the world. Foreign Corporations and Business Schools go to Japan to learn about work ethics, dignity, productivity and efficiency. These are the hallmark of a typical Japanese worker. Though the issues raised in this article are valid, the Japanese society culture of respect and strict obedience to established rules, is making people to challenge and question some of the obnoxious practices in the workplace, as highlighted in the article. Foreigners hardly adapt to the Japanese work ethics, reason most multinationals hardly post non Japanese experts to Japan. They will rather use Japanese as they understood their culture and environment better. The "Kaizen" and "Just-in-Time" concepts were all creation of Japanese society, that values work and efficiency, which have helped the country to become one of the most productive and efficient country in the world. |
They were " received " at the airport, as in, important dignitaries ![]() |
I can't imagine myself driving everyday to work in Lagos in this hard times and fuel costs. I pity those that commute to work daily in Lagos. It must have been hellish ![]() |
