Which one be "Chukwuemeka Mohammed II " ? Is that a title or what? ![]() |
Even Saturday morning football for street and school fields attracts more spectators than football match between two Nigerian clubs. People do not even bother going to stadium again. There is no football without fans. |
These are not your usual regular voters. They are youth groups and associations that have been accredited to vote. Mere looking at the boys alone tells lot of stories |
Taiwo Oladele, Chairman of presidential Committee on tax and fiscal reform, is doing a fantastic job. I am happy that Mr. President is giving full support. When you appoint a square peg in a square hole, the result is what you see. |
purples25:You are observant and thinking. There is this woman in my neighbourhood. Her kids are in the same school with my kids but her kids were struggling academically. She kept complaining to the proprietress that the school were not doing enough to support her struggling kids. The proprietress told her that she should do her own part as the school has done their best for her kids. She should create time to also support her kids at home with home work and their studies. She said being a single parent has been tasking for her as her husband is not in Nigeria. She didn't take the way the school responded to her lightly and withdrew them from the school and put them in a neighbourhood school with low enrolment. Each class has less than 5 people. She told me she is happy with the one- on- one attention the current school is giving her kids and they are improving. |
All na acting - Fubara is following in the footsteps of his former boss, Wike Wike went to a judge's house in the night to prevent the purported arrest of the Judge by the federal might |
Kwankwaso and Obi are agents of the current regime. Trust me, give it to PBAT. The two were used to stop Atiku. Who told Obi and Kwankwaso that they had a chance in the last election? Obi was used to cut the sure odds for Atiku and Kwakwanso completed the assignment in Kano. Nigeria politics is the more you look, the less you see. |
The man looks like a typical Trump supporter. Most hard core white supremacist in US looks like him, even though he is an SA man. |
The money the parish priest would still collect and spend on his personal runs. Church members and leaders are not different from common people in Nigeria. |
INEC Chair, Prof. Mahmoud, na Wike boy o! The He will surely side with Wike. |
Love800:Yes, you must have Inverter. The Inverter does the work of converting the sun's energy to electrical energy. |
Iran made a "very big mistake" by firing those missiles. I trust Bibi to fire back at a time and in a manner never seen before. |
Invest in Solar instead of paying the huge Band A bills My solar saves me nothing less than 35k monthly. My recharge is around 20k for NEPA consumption. If I was not using solar, I should be spending close to 60k monthly on bills. IKEDC Band A bill na die, but they are doing well. They have been consistent with the minimum of 20hrs light in a day |
Iran is the only Moslem country with balls. All others are cowards - The Turkish president of a guy will keep talking without taking action. I have not seen any Moslem country challenged Israel or US on the "atrocities" being committed by the IDF |
See data!!! Nothing dey sweet me pass report with well written data, backed by numbers. You can't do any research without data, both historic and current. One of the issues we encountered as postgraduate students in UK in the late 2000s, researching on Nigeria or Nigeria's matter was lack of reliable data. Our supervisors at the University refused any research work presented with Nigerian content, as they questioned the reliability of data used in our research work. Despite the fact that we had substantial Nigerian students, the faculty insisted we used British based references or EU based references for research. But for students from other countries, they were allowed to research on something from their own home countries. Numbers and pictures tells more stories than writing pages of words in any report. |
I may agree with this assertion from my own personal experience. My area is under "band A", and we have light up to 20 to 24 hours daily. However, the charges are huge. You pay N225 instead of the N65. But I am using solar to offset the cost. I power my house on solar during the day and NEPA at night, to manage the IKEDC bill on band A users. |
This is the strategy most of the governors are adopting in conducting the local government elections. There won't be any sensitization on the upcoming elections; they will delay the arrival of INEC materials in connivance with scrupulous officials; elections will be held with fewer or no voter and boom!, results would be announced and all the annointed candidates by the governor are sworn in. Those praising president Tinubu for signing local government autonomy into law do not understand Nigeria. The governors can go at any length to maintain total control of local government funds, its allocation and expenditures. Do you think that the governor of Kano state would allow the 44 local governments chairmen to control the huge allocations that comes into the local governments account from the federation account? He would do everything to maintain control and dish out patronage as he wishes. The control of the local government gives the governors unfettered powers to control the grassroots and maintain political power. As they say, "politics is local." How do you expect the governors to relinquish control of that local structure of the politics? In Nigeria, money is everything and who controls the money, controls the people and influences decisions, actions and outcomes. |
Gowon is blessed.....see how he is aging gracefully. The dream of every young man .....to remain strong, agile and active with sound mind, while you are in your old age. |
Nutella, Foreign oatmeal and assorted fruity Foreign cereals. These used to cost between 2k to 3.5k. Now, you get them at 7k, 12k and 10k |
Lots of people in Lebanon are happy with this man's death. Hezbolla has been a torn in the flesh of ordinary citizens of Lebanon, who wished to be left alone in peace and not drawn into a wider conflict with Israel. Since Hezbolla is a powerful political and military bloc in Lebanon, the Lebanese government has been unable to tame them. |
No scholarship, worth its name, will require you to make an initial deposit in order to access the full scholarship fund. This is a pure SCAM!!! |
Must he put it up on social media? ![]() |
AngelicBeing:I cant handle the demands of football academy for him. He should face his studies. As I said earlier, it would be a matter of time and the euphoria will evaporate. Give him phone to google things for some of his assignment, he would download different photos of Ronaldo, Messi, Mbappe, Halland and De Bryune. |
Germi9:Thank you. He should face his studies - the odds are stacked against him in that career path. It takes more than just having a passion or likeness for one to be successful in any endeavor or career |
Golan007:Bro, Playing is the fastest and easiest means to make a name in football. Being a pundit or in other occupations in football is not easy, as you must have paid your dues as a player, coach, TV sport presenter or being and English man ![]() |
kasim155:My brother - I don't have that time and it is going to be stressful as the nearest academy is far There is a public secondary school in my area, where people go to play football on Saturdays and Sunday I do go there sometimes with him as I like jugging and doing some yoga with other people Kids of his age used to come and play in one of the sections of the school field, which was managed by one local coach. Sadly, the big men in my area, that formed their own "saturday - Sunday Morning" football club have bribed the school security guards, took over the whole field and there is no more place for young stars. Only pot-bellied rich men comes there and occupies the whole school compound. |
Golan007:He is just passing through the usual "passion" stage of something one likes I am sure over time, as reality sets in, the desire will just fade away. He is just excited watching footballers do their thing - that is just my thinking. He has the normal skill expected of a 9 year old boy. My own is that he should face his studies and take football as an extra-curricular activity. |
Congratulations to him My 9 year old boy has been hammering into my ear that he wants to be a footballer His love for football is mad and this boy could wake up in the night to on TV to watch match highlights. His attention to his studies is dwindling, as football has taken the center stage. Sadly, I have no place to take him for academicals in my area except the usual compound soccer he plays with his friends. ![]() |
In as much as Atiku is old, PDP cannot risk giving their ticket to any other person Who do you think in the current PDP can match BAT? Even if Kwakwanso decamps to PDP or joins forces with PDP, he would still not get the ticket. Alhaji has become a bone in the neck of PDP, and they cannot do without him. Wike cannot get the ticket while still in APC government, neither would some die-hard and bitter politicians in PDP agree to give it to Peter Obi. Some forces in PDP are simply not happy with Peter Obi for "cutting" their ticket in the last presidential election. I am sure Atiku has not forgive him. |
Content creators and posting rubbish. It is practically impossible for any financial institution to grant a loan request, mortgaged by a landed property, that doesn't belong to the borrower. How did the bank officer ascertained that the building belongs to the wife? Even if the building is in the name of both couples, the bank will still request the express approval of the joint owner, to accept that the asset would be used as a collateral for the loan. |
.....Imagine!! To the extent of being queried and confronted by a head of government of another country The western power, led by Obama, really meant GEJ and they were bent on seeing him off. The propaganda from Lai Muhammed was too strong for GEJ to handle and his media team, led by Reuben Abati couldn't match that of the opposition. |
This is extremely wrong!!! I have seen instances of priests being rude to alter boys once they alter boys goofs! Everybody deserves respect and we should not embarrass people like that, even if you are a priest. This is major difference between us and the West - respect for people, even if that person is a child. We are too violent pruned and react to anger immediately in physical manner. I understand that the priest is human, he should control his anger. The alter boy is offering a selfless service - he is not paid to be in that mass to support the priest. He came on his own volition and should be appreciated. |
