Someone up there with his kind of thinking had already "saluted " the post as best and hence, the need to "educate" Nigerians not to criticise government extravagancy in Nigeria. i am not an atheist but I hate this Nigerian mentality of equating everything to God without giving steps and strategies they adopted in achieving success or a major breakthrough in life.

Corporate Nigeria is a phrase used to describe companies - local and foreign, multinationals and other organisations within the formal sector of the economy that employs people for salaries and wages.

OP, your level of exposure to corporate Nigeria is terribly low. Change your circle of friends and build value-based connections. The fact that you were beating your chest with confidence on what you said is a sign that there is a huge disconnect between you and what is happening within corporate Nigeria. Try and raise your bar.

Wrong!!! You have to read well to understand the concepts behind that particular law of power.

Fubara was extremely loyal to a fault to Wike, even ready to go to jail on his behalf when he had issues with EFCC.

Fubara never outshined Wike when he was the accountant general. He credited the State's robust financial standing to the sagacity and managerial acumen of Wike.

Based on his loyalty and deep respect to Wike, he was annointed and placed on the path of political power. Now, what happened after Fubara had seized power is immaterial. Fubara lived up to the principle of "never outshine your master " while he was under Wike and got "rewarded" based on that law of power. If he decides to be independent now that he is the governor, it is his own decision and that law doesn't apply again.

Always ensure those above you (in politics, business, organizations, etc.) feel superior. Remind them of their position tactfully. While showcasing talent is tempting, avoid making your superiors feel insecure. Boosting their ego strengthens your path to power; undermining them will backfire

I keyed into this particular "law of power", "never outshine your master", early in my career and I wasn't disappointed with the outcome. I am no more in a paid employment. But if you are in a paid employment or under the tutelage of a politician, a "money-miss-road" millionaire or a money bag, please follow this principle
