bigCassava:If you have the funds, please return to school for medicine. If you have upper second class or distinction in msc and you don't have problems transitioning to other fields, follow recruitment with consulting firms, big 4, banking and financial institutions for graduate level positions. Don't restrict yourself to just Biology and life sciences to have your career there. People work in sectors that they didn't study in school. People like us studied engineering and went ahead to have successful careers in banking, audit and management consulting. |
Spin4:In Nigeria, it is absolute trash. It may pay if you are in Canada or UK. Those with qualifications in Geriatrics and gerontology work in long term care settings, hospices, retirement and shelter homes. It's always a stepping stone to practical and registered nursing profession in Canada for international students. I know someone that studied gerontology in a college in Canada. She is working in a long-term care setting. Her intention is to go back to school for practical nursing program after getting her PR. |
Atiku lost the presidency on account of his inability to manage the fallout of the primaries. He did strong head for Wike and Wike showed him pepper. You don't treat people anyhow and expect loyalty. Wike seems to be one of the only politician from the South to challenge a powerful northern establishment like Atiku |
It is not always good. But if you don't have any choice, just go back. Hunger dey for the country. Unemployment in Nigeria can drive one into depression. When you get back, take on more challenging roles, humble yourself and maintain good relationships with colleagues and management. Lots of gossips will definitely swirl around about your return but be at peace with everyone and keep your head held high and be on the look out for a better opportunity outside. |
Gbajue! I hope I got it right? |
Putin is eager to end the war ----- He is just tired and the war has affected Russia badly. He underestimated the resolve of the West to support Ukraine. He thought that there would not be any Western answer to his invasion as he did in 2014 and annexed Crimea without any vocal Western disapproval. He is seeing shege in the frontlines, even though Ukraine is loosing but the impact of western weapon in the war is obvious. Russia couldn't believe the level of causalities on its side. |
This man always doing as if he is fighting the Igbo cause. Everybody is seeing the Shege in Nigeria and not just SE only - ministerial position is not what is paramount. He should focus on getting the president to do his work I have come to see it that appointing someone from your zone does not confer any advantage as long as the country is not moving forward and everybody is struggling. It only favors the politicians. If tomorrow, Tinubu appoints this Abaribe as minister or gives him a juicy post, he would start singing a different tune. Leave politicians and their antics. |
Asaba and Owerri seems to have one thing in common. if you know, you know ![]() |
I have also been donating to the cause of St. Augaustin University for the past ten years, without failing. Every Catholic Church in the Lagos archdiocese is required to collect second offerings on every second Sunday of the month for the support of the university. |
Everfrank:It won't happen. Mark this thread. Winning the second world war sealed the current domination of the world affairs by US and her western allies. Alliance led by Russia and China won't work. The US domination has come to stay. It is not just about US government, you have to also fight US entities, which BRICS cannot, as they are not as established as their US counterparts. Remove China from BRICS and you will see that all other countries combine cannot challenge US dominance. Bro, the US leadership has come to stay |
Nigerians and pettiness!!! See how they are arguing about something that may not even happen or that will take decades to happen. BRICS is just a mirage. Displacing the current world order, represented by US is IMPOSSIBLE!!! You have to be more innovative in science and technology to displace the US. As long as US entities like tech and the financial system are dominating the world, forget the BRICS drama. It won't see the light of the day |
The joke is on them. Just accept the US supremacy and leadership of the world affairs. They are the economic and military power and almost all the countries in the world have benefited from the US government, citizens and entities, one way or the other. |
And her family wanted to pin her death on her boyfriend in order to cash out from him, as it seems the guy is loaded. People with poverty mentality would always want to reap where they didn't sow. |
Nonsense!!! He even took style to protect his son that has dual nationality so that he won't be accused of double standards. Speaking from both sides of the mouth. If he love Nigeria so much, why did he allow his son to be born abroad or acquire overseas nationality? Nigerian elites, which he is part of, are fond of telling people not to japa, while they enjoy the spoils of the system that have impoverished majority of the citizens |
That man on the passenger's side needs food. ![]() |
Welcome to APC ![]() See you in the chambers in 2027! |
Patronizing "Okpa" seller while holding the microphone ![]() Did he bargain the price with her while the mic was on ? Election is coming closer - Nigerian politicians are the same |
Uber drivers and other delivery people are becoming endangered in Nigeria. No thanks to yahoo boys, ritualists and greedy people. |
Do you know anyone that can do this in Nigeria? Are into remodeling of bathrooms and toilets? |
Nigerians are hard working people. The reason for the few number of nigerians to be deported. Unlike the South Americans and Arabs that are interested in milking the UK social system dry. They hardly work and will be giving birth every year since most are drawing from the social welfare. Nigerians are hard working, even when living illegally in the UK. |
cococandy:Absolutely! I have seen that in many men. Even those with inferiority and insecurity complexes will go and carry high Street girl to tell everyone that they have arrived. At the end, once the women have gotten what they wanted in the "union ", they would simply bolt away. |
All these low self esteem footballers are the usual victims. Just to prove that they have arrived, they will start dating a high Street girl just to show off. At the end, the woman will divorce them or give them children that are not theirs. |
See his veins . |
Palestine would have been far developed if they had accepted Israeli rule. Sometimes, when you live close to a rich man's house or a wealthy man, you will surely get some benefits. Israel would have deployed their human and social capitals to uplift Palestine. Seeing Israel as an enemy is not the best policy. |
Ekejoestar:No be only Kazeem , what of Laye or Lateef ? ![]() |
No be una advised us make we devalue our currency and remove subsidy. |
SMH..... What's the issue here? The criminals are non state actors as they were not legally allowed to carry and use fire arm. Obi used the best description for them....terrorists, bandits and kidnappers are all non state actors as they are illegal and not allowed to bear arms. I am sure that most people didn't even read this report or they read but misunderstood it. |
Judolisco:Don't underestimate how foolish we are in this country. ![]() |
Even if you hate Tinubu or don't like the government, know that this Taiwo Oyedele is a very sound guy. With him as the head of the tax reform, I am game with his recommendations to the government. He is not a politician but a highly revered tax and fiscal policy expert. Please respect him. |
How do people do this crying thing, video themselves and post on social media? You dey cry, you are videoing yourself, is that one cry? |
Boku bread is still cashing out big time - go to their supermarkets and see queue of people waiting for their bread. I just had to advise myself because of diabetes. The bread has gotten a hold on me and my kids. Spread it Nutella, especially the freshly baked one and you are hummy and happy ![]() |
