My babe of over 2 years called me this evening for 2000 naira to get some body soap products.

Without going into much stories. My sis in the UK bout last month or so once shared a link to me bout the Hospital she works in had Vancancies for some foreign qualified Doctors or Nurse either practicing or internship worker. Another woman has accused Alaska Obi of rape after singer Queency Benna did same and she has said she's willing to testify in court.

The woman, who didn't give her name, went live on Ubi Franklin's Instagram to speak after Alaska Obi had come online to tell Ubi his side of the story.
The woman said that when she saw Queency tell her story and other women coming out to say he has done same to them, she knew his time had come.
She explained that her friends were the ones who told her that Obi was on Ubi's Live so she also decided to speak out.

On how he allegedly raped her, she said a bag was sent to her from Enugu through him.

She said he was living in Asokoro, Abuja.
Early in the morning on a Saturday, she said she went to his house to collect her bag and on entering the compound, she saw a woman doing Obi's laundry.
She said she went in with him for her bag but he locked his house and said she won't leave.
She said she screamed and she's certain the lady washing for him heard her screams but did nothing. She said she suspects this happens frequently that the lady didn't see it as anything.

She alleged Obi went ahead and raped her. When he was allegedly done, she said he knelt down and started begging for forgiveness.
She said she reported him but nothing came out of it.

She explained that her colleagues can bear her witness because she saw him again months after that during an office engagement at the Transcorp. She said she didn't mind that her bosses were there, she started screaming at Obi and insulting him but he ran off.

She explained that she's willing to testify in court and she has witnesses who saw her go crazy at the Transcorp when she saw him again for the first time after the alleged rape.

Alaska Obi, the doctor accused of rape by singer Queency Benna has told his side of the story during an Instagram chat with Ubi Franklin.

He said he had sex with the singer and agreed to pay 200 Dollars while she requested for 1000 Dollars. However, he only paid 100,000 Naira, hence the rape accusations.

Oct 27 - CUALA discussed with Academic Affairs about how to handle this. They decided to send a Certified True Copy of her certificate which carries the exact date graduation date and sign an attestation letter to the law school. CUALA communicated this to applicant on the same day. CUALA did not charge a service fee for this.

Nov 9 - Applicant paid for Certified True Copy of certificate (CTC) + attestation form signing + courier charges and attached a copy of the law school form to be signed by Academic Affairs. She also copied VC, Registrar on this email

Nov 9 - CUALA takes print out of form to Academic Affairs for signing. However the form had her married name instead of her maiden name so the records didn’t match and so Academic Affairs couldn’t sign the form .

In the meantime, the CTC was ready to be sent, but to avoid double courier charges, it was pended.

Nov 17 - CUALA communicated to applicant that law school needs to send a new form with her maiden name

Dec 2 - Law school sends updated form with her maiden name. CUALA prints out and takes to Academic Affairs for processing

Dec 8-13 - Shiloh week so CU mail room and other services are closed

Dec 9 - CUALA confirms to her that the law school letter has been signed and scans a copy to her as evidence

Dec 14 - CUALA confirms to her that both the CTC and signed letter have been sent to the mail room and are ready for dispatch. She acknowledges and thanks CUALA for the help.

Dec 15 - Viral video is released of her calling out CU and complaining that her transcript wasn’t processed.

Following the earlier directive on the suspension of new SIM registration by network operators, the Federal government has directed all operators in the country to disconnect every SIM card not synchronized with valid National Identity Number (NIN) by December 30th 2020.


This came after an urgent meeting of key stakeholders in the Communications industry convened by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim (Pantami) on Monday, December 14, 2020.

The meeting in its resolution insisted that all telecom operators must from Thursday, December 16, 2020 require all their subscribers to provide valid National Identification Number (NIN) to update SIM registration records.
