SeriouslySense:Apt. @ the bolded. You're right. Travelling is a form of education and it is really much needed for people to emancipate themselves from mental slavery. |
Tunjibalogun:Lol. You're wrong in this aspect. There are lots of expats leaving their families and coming to work here and even establish businesses in Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania etc because it favours them very well. I worked in a law firm that deals with lots of expatriates and I was opportuned to see how their Residence permit, Business permit etc are processed and these are Americans, Brits and Dutch people. For foreign investors in Nigeria, they enjoy lots of benefits including 1.Tax reliefs. 2. Pioneer status (eg. A company involved in manufacturing pioneer products is exempted from payment of taxes for 3years and may be extended for additional 2years if needed). 3. Tax reliefs on foreign loans. 4. Repatriation of all 100% capital imported without seizure is guaranteed to foreign investors. Why do you think the Lebanese, Chinese, Pakistans, Americans and a host of others like investing in Nigeria? You should think twice again. ![]() |
gloryhomemaker:Yes. Those three ingredients are fundamental in crunchy and yummy chin chin. ![]() |
KiNg0G:Exactly my thoughts too. |

nedekid:Yes oh. Many people dey comot this country on a steady. You go just dey chat with your friend, close eye or blink, you go come see Welcome to a new dispensation for their Whatsapp status. Nigeria nor dey pleasant anymore. Na suffer and smile many people dey do. |
pocohantas:I'm very happy for them too. Very useless, to be honest. Everybody don tire. ![]() |
I was chatting with a friend earlier today and two of her people are already UK bound. The Brain Drain is here to stay. Many Nigerians are leaving in their droves!!!

ahnie:Ehen, because I was kinda worried. I tried calling again today, same issue. I'm sorry about that. I hope you get a better one soon. Buy better one ohhhh. ![]() No wahala. I'd try again tomorrow. I'm good. I hope you are also. |
pocohantas:Lmao. You sabi their shoe wella. I burst into uncontrollable laughter that day. Job applicant come dey shine pass CEO. ![]() |
Na GNLD job be this. ![]() Back in 100level when I was searching for job for extra cash,I saw a vacancy somewhere for Personal Assistant to CEO. See me thinking it's better job,I left home very early, didn't even have breakfast all in the name of "job interview". Lmao. These people set exam for me,I was the highest scorer, then they asked Current Affairs which I aced, next thing was them explaining their products to me and saying in the next 3months, I will buy a car bla bla. The said "CEO" said he goes in and out of America everytime for vacation and all of that. And the only thing I needed to do was to pay N5-10k for job registration and training. Hian. I called plenty people that day and explained to them but it seemed like scam to them and God didn't even want me to be scammed that day sef. That's how I went home dejected that I had "lost a job". Only for me to see the supposed "CEO" one day coming out from Mama put with toothpick in his mouth and entering bus. Immediately our eyes met, he became embarrassed and shifted his gaze. I will never forget that day. |
Magnoliaa:Alright no wahala. You're welcome Mango. ![]() Lol. I swear, it's an easy job that I can do even while sleeping. ![]() Wallahi,I nor like "hard tasks" wey go come dey gimme headache abeg. |
Magnoliaa:Lmao. E pack requirements, my dear. I also saw some Handwriting jobs on Upwork yesterday too that are way simpler. Yes, you can start drafting out your CV, doesn't matter if you haven't graduated yet. I started developing mine since 300level. Lol, yes it's recent. Nothing beats the smell and experience, my dear. You sabi! ![]() I wish you success in your career as a high flying novelist. The J.K. Rowling and Chimamanda Adichie of our time. PS: The Handwriting job on Upwork.

Klass99:YAYYYY!! Thank you Klass. Seven blesses to you. |
We play too much in this country and that's why the nation's condition remains the same year in, year out. |
pocohantas:Yes!!!! I don't like drinking garri at all. |
I don't understand the fuzz about drinking garri. I don't like it.I rather just eat Eba. And if there's no food available, but there's only garri, I'd rather starve. ![]() |
