Nigerian christians believe that Ona kan o woja (the way that lead to market is more than one). This implies that they believe other Gods but do not believe serving them will bring salvation unlike Jehovah. They believe Jehovah is potent and very much alive while the other ones like Zeus are not powerful and dead. This does not mean they do not believe Zeus does not exist.

Atheism oppose theism. It is either you go for positive or negative side. In that aspect, we all not all atheist. Stephen Roberts assertion is wrong

Adding, Christians do not disbelieve Zeus does not exist. They acknowledge it is a greek God but do not accept it divinity. There are numbers of God mentioned in the bible and christians acknowledge but do not accept them. Examples are Baal, Artemis, Zeus, Hermes, Ashtoreth and lots more. These are greek and cannanites God which the bible acknowledge and christians believe are Gods which exist but do not accept their divinities.

Christianity is parrt of theism which believe in at least a God called Jehovah. They believe other Gods existence but do not accept these Gods.

Christians always argue that God is a market and belief and religion is a way of reaching him/her. In that sense, they take their way of christianity while they acknowledge there are other ways that lead to God. Christians believe Allah exist but they choose christianity because they hold that it is the rightful way.

Atheism is not a belief. So your assertion is wrong.

The guy is making some sense but presenting it in a wrong sense.

He is explaining that God is not an entity but a quality or value or status. He been God is believed among some cult, religion and cultures. This God does exist.

The existence of God as man or man been regarded as divine entity or Man been God is very common believe among Imperial cults, Christianity and Apotheotic society.

This proves that God is not an entity but a tag given to something with a divine status or attribute. The star is divine hence it is God to Astrolatrist. The sun is divine so it is God to pantheistists. The Snake, cow and bull are divine and sacred beings in many cultures. Idealogy like Law and Justice is God to some pagans. Feelings like love is divine in many traditions. This proves that God exist not as an independent entity but as a status or quanlity attributed to an entity.

Therefore you are a God (brilliant intelligent being who is admired and love by others). . . .so lets see if you disbelieve in your existence

Atheism is not just only disbelieve in a God but all Gods. A christian that believe in Jehovah but disbelieve in Allah or Zeus is not atheist but theist. One cannot be a theist and atheist at the sametime. You are either a theist by believing in at least a God and disbelive in lot others or be an atheist by disbelieving in ALL gods.

Karma like the science says for every action there is an equal and opposite re-action. In the general sense, Karma is cause and effect. That is science which holds very little knowledge about what Karma is. The best view is spirituality be it Hinduism, Buddhism or Orishism. This is where determinism and predestination comes in. I dont think there is a particular force that determines what becomes a person. Everything in the universe is inter-connected, and every action will always cause effect back.

As par curse, there are two sides of it. It is real and not real. This depend on the angle from which we look at it. Curse is somehow like manipulatively implanting of negative psychological impression in one's psyche. If this could be successfully done, it will effect ones' life. Now Curse is a spoken word and it work only when it is placed rightfully.

Let me start with a spoken word. Words are singularly the most powerful force available to humanity. It driven energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble. It is a general belief that the world of someone is created by words and can be dstroyed by words. Words influence your thinking and reinforce concepts within the psyche.

if curse is a spoken word, it is real that it does can affect one life.

On the second thought, there is a spiritual way of devising a curse to be effective. This I cant really say it is fact because I have not experienced it.

Nigerian police are evil and demonic thugs which you wont pray encountering some day. They are legalised criminals and muderers. Their crudeness have no respect for human right and moral value.

Do you even read what the OP posted? Did you read a bad experience posted on front page which a Nairalander had first hand? Have you encountered them once? Then I see reason why you praise them or probably because you are officer or a family of yours is one.

The problem of Nigeria starts with Police. Value for law respect is been upholded by Police but corruption has eaten them up. Report have it that police steals, rob, rape detained gals, you have experience their daily distortion, shooting carelessly and serving the cilivian unjustly.

Nigerian Police are not our friends. Will your friend rape your sister? Will your friend take bribe to upturn justice? Will your friend give space for armed robbers to have a feast on you only to turn around and arrest you?
