Wasn't good enough yet the lad made the team. No no no. Ugbade was just scared to play Olowoporoku and Cletus because they were among the youngest in the team.

A midfield of Linus/Cletus/Olowoporoku or at worst a trio of Linus/Owoyemi/Olowoporoku should have been our starting midfield from the first game of the tournament but Ugbade decided to play politics. Nonsense.
Na wa oooo. Well, hope the scouts saw their talent.

So it is now this Ugbade man thinks of putting in Simon Cletus??

Simon Cletus and Olowoporoku are two midfielders who should have been getting minutes since the tournament began.

#MDU17AfconDiaries
I am surprised that Cletus was on the bench till 80mins. The boy just changed the attack with his calmness and through pass.

Make dis boys calm down. Burkina has a game plan and it's working for them.

Our positioning and recovery after loosing the ball is very poor. Burkina seems to understand this hence play long balls to the wings which is exposing our boys.

The attack seems dead but it's because our players are not releasing the ball on time which gives them the opportunity to physically get the ball out of our boys.

The boys should pass the ball before the get too close then try to cross from the wings into the box

Its nice to talk like that but the present day African exhibits traits of backwardness and ignorance.
In fact, i know a lawyer who told me that science is the black man's witchcraft.
The real life experience and mental reality of Nigerians sound backward.
I mean common things of life are incomprehensible to us.
In fact, we think introverts are not normal
The average Nigerian does not know the difference between an introvert or an extrovert
A lot of nollywood films are full of people visiting a babalawo and end with a pastor shouting deliverance.
We lack intellectual sophistication.
The stuff we got from Egypt or Timbuktu is lost.
We cant connect with it
AS PER OUR CULTURAL HERITAGE
You see, it is the white man that teaches us our language
Yes, it is the white man that makes us to understand our culture
because the white man tells us our history and culture
We are just ideological non-identities
Abeg the present day African is just there
This guy has been brainwashed by oyinbo.

What do you mean "it is the white that teaches us our language?" angry grin

Perhaps, white thought you your own culture. Speak for yourself. angry

Abdullahi shone all the way from the WafuB Qualifiers to the Prep games only to come drop stinkers at the Afcon. It is really befuddling. He has been absent at this Afcon in the final third. Totally Zero. Needs to get his acts together and fast!!

And scoring through set pieces will only happen if we can win them naa. If we are smart enough, we can draw fouls around the box to allow Michael have multiple cracks at goal.
But he is not leading the line from this match. He is playing deep behind the players upfront.

The they need to draw fouls which ever way if they want to score in this match.

Striker no good!?

The sa guy turn our player. Ugbade for tell the boys to cool down. I think we might let in the 3rd goal if the coach doesn't organize the defense well.

The striker is not that composed.

We need to score through set pieces.

Bro, I didn’t denigrate him. I just informed you regarding the caliber of league Yekini performed compared to his SE contemporaries. Yekini best foreign exploits were at backwater leagues like Portuguese, Greece league etc and equivalent to the modern day Belgium league. Consequently, do not allude his lack of playing at superior league to non exposure because during that time, the likes of Yeboah, Weah, abedi were performing week in and out at Seria A and Bundesliga. The likes of osimehn, Yakubu, Oba martins had a much higher ranking club career than yekini because they all performed at the Big 3 and one has to always realize that Quality precede Quantity. When it comes to SE performances, Yekini is still Number 1 for now until Osimehn surpass him by winning ANC, Qualifying us for World Cup and score more goals
For your information, Yekini played in the La liga even at 32/33 years old.

Yekini's first season in a European league at 28 years old, he scored 13 goals in the Portuguese liga before he played in the Laliga at 32/33 years old. cheesy

Largebanned2:
It depends on how we’re rating them. Are we ranking them based on club or country exploits? For example, if we’re rating them based on club exploits, I would pick
1) Osimehn - Top performance at multiple clubs in the big 5 including leading a team to their first league title in over 30 years and playing a pivotal role. In addition to that, he has the highest ever market value for any Nigerian striker EVER.

2) Obafemi martins
3) Yakubu
4) Yekini
5) Ighalo
6) Emenike

Yekini club exploit isn’t highly rated than the aforementioned because he mostly performed at Lower league compared to the others listed…

For Country
1) Yekini - Multiple ANC top scorer Award and present all time Nigeria Top scorer
2) Emenike - Qualified us for the World Cup, and most importantly won the ANC
3) Yakubu - Qualified us for a World Cup and one of our highest goal scorers
4) Obafemi martins - Qualified us for the World Cup
5) Ighalo - Qualified us for a World Cup
6) osimehn- he has to Qualify us for a World Cup, Win an ANC title and perform exceptionally for Nigeria to become Number 1.

When judging a player talent/capability, the most important leverage is QUALITY not QUANTITY. For example, Emenike is listed as number 2 based on SE performances and higher than players has superior goal aggregate because he WON for Us
In 1987 Porto won the European cup, UEFA Super Cup and Intercontinental cup. In 1988 and 1990, Benfica made the finals of the European cup. In 1994, Fc Porto made semi final of European cup. In 1990, Rasheed Yekini scored 13 goals in the same Portuguese Liga in his first season before he became the top goal scorer in 1993. The same Portuguese liga has won more UEFA Champions league than the French league that you rated highly and has even made the finals of the same UEFA champions league than the team from the Dutch League.

But according to you, the Portugues liga is a lower league. grin Continue to deceive yourself and crew. grin

O boy, U have left Ogun and Oyo state, U are now talking about Lagos. Delta state that is a very young state o, if U are comparing Delta with Lagos then River state is no-go-area.
Rivers na one city state.

forgiveness:
Lagos vs Rivers------- Lagos state is more developed. Lagos state has many developed cities like Lagos city, Ikeja, Lekki, Eko Atlantic, Ikorodu, Epe, Badagry etc unlike Rivers with just Port Harcourt, Bonny and Eleme. More better cities are in Lagos than Rivers if we do the rating

Rating: Lagos state vs River state cities
1. Lagos city
2. Ikeja
3. Lekki
4. Port Harcourt
5. Ojo
6. Ikorodu
7. Epe
8. Badagry
9. Eko Atlantic
10. Bonny

Akwa Ibom vs Osun state------- Osun state as as a whole is more developed than Awka Ibom in terms of infrastructures. Apart from Uyo that's a little bit better than Oshogbo in terms of transportation infrastructures other cities like Ikot Ekpene, Eket, Ibeno, Oron are not better than Ilesha, Ede, Ife, Iwo, Ejigbo etc. I have been to Uyo, Ikot Ekpene and Essien Udim. No doubt the first two are in the top 3 cities in Akwa Ibom and are very nice but Osun state has more cities in the top 10 than Akwa Ibom if we do the rating of both cities.

Rating: Akwa Ibom vs Osun State cities
1. Uyo,
2. Oshogbo
3. Ilesa
4. Ife
5. Eket
6. Ikot Ekpene
7. Ede
8. Iwo

3. Oyo state vs Edo

Ibadan is far more developed than Edo in all ramifications. Moreover, Oyo state has more developed towns than Edo state.

Rating; Oyo vs Edo cities
1. Ibadan
2. Benin
3. Ogbomosho
4. Oyo
5. Ekpoma

4. Ogun state vs Delta state

Delta state is the most developed state in South South because there are many developed cities apart from Warri and Asaba. Notwithstanding, it's still not as developed as Ogun state. Ogun state has more developed cities, more infrastructures, educational institutions and industries than Delta state.

Rating: Delta vs Ogun state cities

1. Abeokuta
2. Warri
3. Asaba
4. Arepo
5. Sagamu
6. Mowe/Ibafo (Redemption camp)
7. Sango ota
8. Ijebu Ode
9. Agbara
10. Sapele

Though Delta still has Agbor and Ughelli but Ogun state still has more like Ilaro, Igbesa, Iperu, Ikenne, Ilishan, Owode, Ijebu Igbo, Odogbolu etc.

Ogun state state is far more developed than Delta state.

5. Cross River state vs Ondo state c

Apart from Calabar that's more developed than any city in Ondo state, Ondo state holistically is far more developed.

Rating: Cross River vs Ondo State cities

1. Calabar
2. Akure
3. Ondo
4. Owo
5. Akoko
6. Ore
7. Obudu

The gap too much abeg.

6. Bayelsa state vs Ekiti state

Nothing dey Yenagoa. Ekiti town is far better but Bayelsa is more developed.

Rating: Balyesa vs Ekiti state cities

1. Brass
2 Ekiti
3. Yenagoa

As you can see, SW is more developed than SS
