Ibrahimcoomasie:Well, through education their hatred MUST be cured. |
steeltrust:Are you joking? I have been to Agbor, Asaba, Warri and Isseluku. If not for the current governor, Asaba was a village compared to other state capital. Moreover, my experience of Warri was the potopoto roads everywhere. Nothing special. You can't even compare Warri with Ikorodu but you want to compare a town inferior to Warri with Lekki! You bi pikin? Ogun state is far more developed than Delta state in all ratification. |
misano:Till today, Ogun state is the most industrialized state in Nigeria. Lagos state is the most developed while Oyo state has the largest city in the whole of West Africa. The glory is still upon the SW. |
opamoses1:You're right but nevertheless the wealth from that small part of Lagos Island was used to build roads, railway and other major infrastructures across the country before Awolowo used cocoa money to build Ikeja from the scratch and others places in South West. In fact, at a point, Ibadan surpassed Lagos in terms of infrastructures. Tallest building, stadium, first TV station etc were exiting in Ibadan before Lagos. As you rightly said, Cocoa oil developed SW ever before the oil boom. |
misano:The same Bayelsa that is struggling to complete a 18 storey tower hotel. Yenagoa is just like a small village compared to other cities in Nigeria. Road infrastructure is zero. Many dilapidated government school buildings. The most backward stayed in the whole of Nigeria despite the money. If you know the amount of money Oyo is making from poultry, tobacco and other products, you will realise Bayelsa is below Oyo state not to talk of Ogun state making money from limestone, Industries and other agricultural products. Next year, Ogun state will be among oil producing states in Nigeria. |
RAND250:Lagos already had Telephone, railway, banks, trams, street lights, well paved roads, bridges, seaport etc before the entity Southern protectorate was formed in 1900. Ever before oil was first discovered in Araromi Ondo state in 1908. It was the wealth from Lagos the British used to develop other parts of Nigeria including South South before oil boom. Don't allow anyone deceive you South South is more developed than South West. It's a fallacy. |
Lagos vs Rivers------- Lagos state is more developed. Lagos state has many developed cities like Lagos city, Ikeja, Lekki, Eko Atlantic, Ikorodu, Epe, Badagry etc unlike Rivers with just Port Harcourt, Bonny and Eleme. More better cities are in Lagos than Rivers if we do the rating Rating: Lagos state vs River state cities 1. Lagos city 2. Ikeja 3. Lekki 4. Port Harcourt 5. Ojo 6. Ikorodu 7. Epe 8. Badagry 9. Eko Atlantic 10. Bonny Akwa Ibom vs Osun state------- Osun state as as a whole is more developed than Awka Ibom in terms of infrastructures. Apart from Uyo that's a little bit better than Oshogbo in terms of transportation infrastructures other cities like Ikot Ekpene, Eket, Ibeno, Oron are not better than Ilesha, Ede, Ife, Iwo, Ejigbo etc. I have been to Uyo, Ikot Ekpene and Essien Udim. No doubt the first two are in the top 3 cities in Akwa Ibom and are very nice but Osun state has more cities in the top 10 than Akwa Ibom if we do the rating of both cities. Rating: Akwa Ibom vs Osun State cities 1. Uyo, 2. Oshogbo 3. Ilesa 4. Ife 5. Eket 6. Ikot Ekpene 7. Ede 8. Iwo 3. Oyo state vs Edo Ibadan is far more developed than Edo in all ramifications. Moreover, Oyo state has more developed towns than Edo state. Rating; Oyo vs Edo cities 1. Ibadan 2. Benin 3. Ogbomosho 4. Oyo 5. Ekpoma 4. Ogun state vs Delta state Delta state is the most developed state in South South because there are many developed cities apart from Warri and Asaba. Notwithstanding, it's still not as developed as Ogun state. Ogun state has more developed cities, more infrastructures, educational institutions and industries than Delta state. Rating: Delta vs Ogun state cities 1. Abeokuta 2. Warri 3. Asaba 4. Arepo 5. Sagamu 6. Mowe/Ibafo (Redemption camp) 7. Sango ota 8. Ijebu Ode 9. Agbara 10. Sapele Though Delta still has Agbor and Ughelli but Ogun state still has more like Ilaro, Igbesa, Iperu, Ikenne, Ilishan, Owode, Ijebu Igbo, Odogbolu etc. Ogun state state is far more developed than Delta state. 5. Cross River state vs Ondo state c Apart from Calabar that's more developed than any city in Ondo state, Ondo state holistically is far more developed. Rating: Cross River vs Ondo State cities 1. Calabar 2. Akure 3. Ondo 4. Owo 5. Akoko 6. Ore 7. Obudu The gap too much abeg. 6. Bayelsa state vs Ekiti state Nothing dey Yenagoa. Ekiti town is far better but Bayelsa is more developed. Rating: Balyesa vs Ekiti state cities 1. Brass 2 Ekiti 3. Yenagoa As you can see, SW is more developed than SS |
Ngorbungor:You really think you're talking to a novice. Onitsha to Owerri depending on where you enter is 1,500 - 2,000. Especially, when you enter those buses coming from Lagos. |
PreyingMantis:Liar kwanu!!! |
Ngorbungor:Oga, na 3,600 to Ibadan ![]() |
OfoIgbo:Better business people? Is that your point? I will say stop being deluded. |
You guys enjoy deceiving yourselves this the video check how empty the train is how will they survive with this low patronage from Ibadan to Lagos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2LgqvPCcKo
You are an ignoramus in this case. Those seats have been paid for by Agege, Abeokuta and other passengers at those terminals. You don't know anything but you think YouTube will educate. However, you're deluded to think SW are poorer than SE. |
MXrep:Stop being deluded. Nothing like herdmen attack along that route again. It has been neutralized. |
MXrep:I knew you would say that the reason I reduced the price it's actually 3,600 naira. Olodo. ![]() That's just for the economy class. Other classes are way more higher. ![]() |
MXrep:2,600 naira is actually the fee to Ibadan. Stop exposing your ignorance here |
MXrep:Stop fooling yourself. Nothing like that for now. You can try act on behalf of them on the road. Let's see how you will escape. ![]() |
Even with train isn't lucrative, NRC already complaining, when they build train area that's not lucrative that's why they don't last, instead of region that is industrious, that's why nothing good last in this country because of hate for Igbos this one will soon collapse
Complaining about low patronage or loss profit? I travel on that train recently on 4 occasions and I can tell you the train is always filled up. Stop relying on rumours. |
MXrep:Is SW Kaduna? The difference is clear. Notwithstanding, Ibadan airport still witness high passenger traffic. |
Those using proximity of Ibadan to Lagos because of low passenger at the airport doesn't make sense, Owerri airport is more closer to Port Harcourt both airports always record high passenger traffic, Oyo people are they not traveling to Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano, Owerri and other cities since they claimed Ibadan is close to Lagos From Ibadan Airport to Lagos Airport is 113km From Owerri airport to Port Harcourt is 54.3km From Enugu Airport to Port Harcourt is 168km
Oga, i noticed people traveling prefers taking train to Lagos to board plan and back to Ibadan from Lagos airport. |
Fulani has been kidding people along Lagos/Ibadan express way, and they rub people on traffic on that road often, Owerri always record high passenger traffic even before APC introduced insecurity
Not true. However, there's an alternative. Train service. |
Iamgrey5:It's more than an airport. Definitely, will be very busy. |
manutdrichie:You ill informed. All states in SW have airport save Osun state. |
FatherOfJesus:Oshogbo is very developed in terms of road infrastructures. The problem is you haven't been there. |
EmekaA125:I don't know why you like lying there are no clusters of brown roofs in the SE. The same SE I lived for almost a decade? What has changed? Stop lying mr man. Not much as changed. It is the same everywhere save some few places. |
XerXers:Do you mean Ikeja is a tiny isolated place in Lagos state? ![]() Oga, Ikeja is a city in Lagos state and it's more planned and developed than both Onitsha and Aba combined. ![]() Lekki is also another city in Lagos state and it's more planned and developed than Aba and Onitsha combined. ![]() It seems you can't differentiate between Lagos and Lagos state. Abi Enugu is same as Enugu state? ![]() Even the main Lagos city is more planned than Aba and Onitsha. Lagos city comprises of Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Yaba, Lagos Island and Surulere. |
XerXers:Which nowhere in Nigeria comes close? No doubt Aba is planned in SE but there are more better planned cities in other parts of Nigeria. See below.
|
gidgiddy:Onitsha is not in the top 30 best cities in Nigeria? You're right, not many places look like Onitsha. |
XerXers:You just come here and start lying. Which inner streets do you have in Onitsha and Aba? The same place i stayed for almost a decade? Aba and Onitsha have ishimiri inner roads mixed with potopoto. Stop deceiving people here. The only places I know that have inner roads are Owerri, Enugu and Umuahia. Even Orji Kalu town has better inner roads than Aba and Onitsha. ![]() |
gidgiddy:So, Anambra state is not collecting allocations since after the civil war? |
BERNIMOORE:Who told you INEC didn't use BVAS at real time? No wonder Obi was taught the difference between Bvas and irec. ![]() Bvac was used at real time but there's no law stating voting sheets must be transmitted electronically. That's Inec decision to make. |
XerXers:Wetin dis one dey yan? I dey reply someone talking about election. You dey talk another thing. |
You know the truth
Which truth? You even mentioned he won NC despite having Kwara, Kogi that voted on ethnic line and Niger that voted on religious line. Even in Benue state controlled by Ortom who supported Obi, he lost. Are you still deluded Obi won the election? |
