QuotasSystem: Kyale su. Their envy of Northern unity which they have continued to fail to replicate in the south will be the end of them.
Since when did they start caring about the welfare of "Abokkis"? ......... Clowns. Only a compound fool will fall for their lame antics.
They will continue to labour and wail in vain as the Hausa Fulani & the North continues to wax stronger in unity There's is nothing like Northern unity. Ask from Southern Kaduna to Adamawa to Benue to Kwara to Plateau to Taraba etc. You will be told the same thing. |

Icon4s: For me that was a fair list.
Onuachu has been consistent in Europe but he has not delivered in the national colors despite several invitations. Club football is different from national team football. Onuachu seems not to have settled down to the SE style of play. For me, Sadiq Umar is another version of Onuachu in terms of physique but let's see if he will adapt better than Onuachu. I am aware he has not delivered in the national team but the question still remains....why is he doing well in Europe? Did Rohr take time to study him? Why Umar when we have Moffi in Ligue 1? Is Rohr trying to tell us laliga 2 player is better than Ligue 1 player? Besides, Umar is more skillful than Onuachu. Their style of play is totally different. |

Olulong: lmao Onuachu dropped for Umar. The coach should tell us why he dropped one of the top highest goalscorer in Europe. Though I was the first to clamour for Umar's invitation to the SE when he was at Roma... that was in the Seria but I still can't understand why he should be selected ahead of Onuachu. Very funny coach. However, Osimhen's goal recently was the game changer. Shehu Abdullahi? |

theFilmtricsay Answer the simple question. Did Ebola shut down the world economy fpr 3 months? |

theFilmtric: what rubbish Is the “Pandemic” affecting Nigerians? Didn't Amosun encounter both Ebola(a realer epidemic) and Lassa fever Both more dangerous than Covid? Amosun is not in Abiodun's league at all!
theFilmtricsay Did Ebola shutdown the world economy for 3 months? Time will tell because Amosun used 8 years. This is Abiodun's 2nd year. Unfortunately, the first year was used to fight the pandemic. |

TheSuperNerd: La Liga 2 in 2020/21 and even from last season 2019/20 is nothing of the such. The quality seen there now is way above the quality of the Championship. Simple eye test reveals such.
So biko, no dey use outdated experience of 10 yrs ago to about 3-4yrs back to rate a league that has obviously gotten better in quality and overall technical proficiency.
The Championship is still basically kick and rush football for most sides there. Only few sides there play nice football. This is unlike what is seen in La Liga Smartbank. Again I say, go update yourself and watch the two leagues in the Here and Now. And when I say "watch"... I mean watch more than 30 games of La Liga Smartbank to judge properly. Then see another 30+ of the Championship.
And if you insist La Liga 2 is very poor. Then sadly, it only makes it worse for the Championship. It's very way poorer. Simple. In here and there, it remains your and my opinion. That's all. |

jihday: In his defence tho Onuachu doesn't fit in with his style, he has given him enough game time but it's not working. Don't forget Onuachu started our first game at Afcon, to say he was dismal is putting it lightly Two years ago matter. Please, someone should wake Rohr up and tell him we are in 2021. Give the boy another chance. Since, he keeps improving everyday. 25 goals is not beans hence should be compensated for his hard work else he demoralises him. |

TheSuperNerd: Number one fact is Eye Test.
Go watch the two leagues for yourself "with an open mind" and tell me what you find.
The difference in technical quality is so clear.
Besides La Liga Smartbank is the 2nd tier of the Best League on the planet. While the EFL Championship is the 2nd tier of the #2 league in the world. So bye. I have followed Spanish league from the first tier to the fourth tier for more than 10 years because I followed many Nigerian players there then. Laliga 2 is a very poor league. |

TheSuperNerd: I agree with you on the other strikers stepping up to the plate big time. The team needs that as Osimhen won't play every damn game. I can count on Iheanacho when in form. Onuachu also can provide strong Competition but we also gotta tweak things a bit to play to his strengths when he is involved. In the longer run, I know the likes of SADIQ and Moffi will be valuable additions who will provide keen Competition for Osimhen.
And my good man Chris. Debates are Inevitable with a guy who swims in the waters of English bias whenever a point goes against the school of thought that says "English football is Number 1".
I am a fan of English football myself and follow them even to the League 2 ranks. But I gotta tell ya, EFL Championship no reach La Liga 2. And I am a fan of Spanish, Dutch football and other football schools also. He can bring it on. Well, your personal opinion and it should be respectful though not necessarily correct. |

zuchyblink: Rashidi Yekini won APOTY playing in Portuguese second division That was in 1992/1993 season, but he was the highest goalscorer and one of the best players in 1992 Africa nations cup. Don't forget, he was the 5th highest goalscorer in Portuguese first division with 13 goals in 1990/1991 season before his team was relegated. You can't even compare Yekini's situation with Sadiq. |

5. Taiwo Awoniyi - The most underrated of all. But he was ahead of number 2 to 4 with 9 goals (5 goals and 4 assists) contributed already before dropping to the 5th position due to injury just 2 weeks ago.
I believe the coach should choose from these set of players if fit for the upcoming games.
Osimhem, Maja and co should keep working hard.
Sadiq should work very hard to play in a first division before he should be considered for the national team ahead of the aforementioned players.

Who are the top strikers doing well in Europe top divisions, based on goals contributed?
1. Paul Onuachu. He is the number 1 with 27 goals (25 goals and 2 assists) contributed. No dispute.
2. Terem Moffi. The number 2 with 12 goals (10 goals and 2 assists) contributed so far.
3. Simmy Nwankwo. 3rd on the list with 10 goals (8 goals and 2 assists) contributed this season.
4. Kelechi Iheanacho. The 4th on the list with 10 goals (6 goals and 4 assists) contributed so far.
