sapientia: A state building Airport should be done by known construction companies.
Why is Umahi always gallivanting there and looking like he is teaching them.
This is something you award and hands off, then come back at the agreed date to take over
This is mediocre at best. This is the problem with Nigerians. Who told you only private construction company can build airport? It's better to create construction department in the ministry of works and engage in direct labour instead of giving it to private construction company that pays peanut to its workers. |

Arewa1stSon: Hypocrisy is when you're attacking and killing innocent northerners in your region because one Nigerien migrant beat a Yoruba man to death...
And still shamelessly create a thread on how northerners are siding and defending each other!!
One thing I know is that Nigeria is the capital of hypocrisy!!
Your hatred for the north is making us stronger and united!! Your hatred is waking our people up to sit up!
I love what Is currently happening in the country... Our people are now gradually waking up!! They're the only ones that believe in one Nigeria... And thank God they're waking up! If you are referring to the crisis in Shasha to exonerate Hausa, then I know you are a bloody liar. Hausa attacked, killed and destroyed life and properties unprovoked when Amotekun attempted to arrest the murderer in Seriki Hausa's house on Saturday morning under the watchful eyes of the GOS of one cantonment in Ibadan as alleged. When the GOS was approached to put an end to the wanton destruction, he replied he only came to protect Hausa. Hmmmm! Indigenous Ibadan people felt betrayed and decided to defend themselves. Hence, on Saturday evening, they began reprisal and the end they say is history. How is the "Northerners" innocent in this case? Nobody hates nobody. You are only fooling yourself. |

Owajigarrisson: .
Keep on arguing, it wouldn't change the fact that they are trying to revamp their lost culture. If you see an Olukunmi man on the road, you'll call him "Omo Igbo", until you ask him the community he is from, you can't differentiate the Olukunmi man from the Igbo man because they both speak Igbo as a first language and answer Igbo names. They didn't learn Yoruba from Lagos. They speak the undiluted Olukumi language and recently bears Olukumi names. |

Owajigarrisson: They don't speak both my brother. Most of them who live in Lagos took it upon themselves to learn Yoruba so as to retain their culture, conduct a trip to that place and see if I'm lying. They didn't learn it from Lagos. They speak Olukumi which is totally different from Lagos Yoruba though it's still a dialect of Yoruba. |

Doradorwa: Things and Times have changed now.... To have our own country as yorubas is more than relying on how we've progressed in time past but we need to face crucial issues like Port, definite geographical boundaries, perfect in flow of food and other things.
Just 6 states... I swear we will starve as most of our people are known for white collar job especially we the younger generation. Or else some state in the north central like decide to join us and of course I don't see that possible. What about international recognition... are we gonna get that... I really don't know up to you sir as you must be experienced and well vast in knowledge about this struggle.... I do hope I can be properly enlighten by you sir... I will welcome your knowledge More than 6 states. |

Owajigarrisson: The blog alone shows the article is fake! Olukunmis don't speak Yoruba, they speak an Unadulterated Northern Igbo dialect similar to that of Anambra and Enugu, however they know they migrated from Yoruba land. Blog is fake because you believe so. Pure undiluted fact. The king is yet to debunk is quotes. |

Owajigarrisson: They are trying to learn Yoruba because their Igbo neighbors assimilated them into everything Igbo. You can hardly see an Olukunmi man answering a Yoruba name, they answer Igbo names and equally call God "Chukwu". They speak both. However, who is teaching them Yoruba? |

BKayy: How 4 villages and 4 still under contention became the majority in a local Government of 23 villages speak enough of how good you are in mathematics. 23 - 8(including those under contention) = 15
Now how 8 became the majority over 15 baffles me. Maybe this is how you people managed to become one of the "majority" in Nigeria Are the remaining 15 the same clan? |

Owajigarrisson: This is the most hillarous comment I've seen in years. For this comment, I'm 100% sure you've never been to Delta State talkess of Anioma. The Olukunmis may have Yoruba ancestry but they have lost the language, popular names Olukunmis answer are Nduka,Chika,Kachikwu,e.t.c, these are obviously Igbo names. However, they are trying to teach their people Yoruba so they can identify with their lost ancestry. Olukunmis speak Igbo as their main language, you can't expect a small community that migrated from Yoruba land and surrounded by thousands of Igbo villages to retain their language and culture. The only trace of Yoruba culture the Olukunmis have is the oral tradition that says they are from Owo in Ondo State, they don't even call themselves Olukunmis, they call themselves "Odinani",an Igbo word too. If you doubt me, conduct a trip to Aniocha. They speak Olukumi as the first language according to the king. Besides, I have been to Delta state several times. |

tsephanyah: If you are a Muslims, you already know what to do with this comment, whatever your tribe is. This people want War. Stay angry don't forget. We've never insulted their religion. Fulani herdsmens and farmers conflict is not about religion. Those herdsmens don't even practice the religion. But what do they do? they come here and insult our religion. Insult our prophet. Kill innocent Hausa people burn their property. While we stay peaceful, they continue atrocities against us. I assure you my Muslim Brothers the day of atonement is now. My Muslim brothers if you want to know who is behind this comment, they're igbos. The bolded is misinformation. The crisis in Shasha was as the result of the refusal of Seriki of Hausa in Oyo to handover the murderer to the appropriate authority for arrest. Which, as the result of this, the Hausa began to kill and destroy lifes and prosperities to intimidate their host into submission to protect the murderer in the morning. This happened on Saturday morning and the video of Hausa attacking and destroying life and properties surfaced all over the internet. It was allegedly the GOS of one cantonment watched on as this brazen act was perpetrated and when asked to take control of the situation, he said he only came to protect the Hausas. Hell was let loose, and things got out of hands after sensing injustice and nepotism on the part of state security. The host remobilized and took laws into their hands to defend themselves and properties. Unfortunately, in the evening, on the same Saturday, the table was turned in favour of the host community who mobilised for reprisal. Can you blame them for defending themselves after the state security betrayed them to death? Suffice to say, these (Hausas) are no innocent people but instigators of the crisis in Shasha. |
