Kwara is a northern state, there are recent economic immigrants from the SW, that may make things seem as if there are part of the SW, but Kwara is solidly a Northern state.
I think you are deviating from the topic. Kwara is a "Northern state" but still remains a Yoruba indigenous state. Gbam

Politics › Re: 2023: Why The North Would Support South South Presidency by forgiveness: 7:15pm On Feb 25, 2021
Markbrowny:
As power moves to the South......

To cut the story short, let’s start with this question:

1. Between the North and the South, who has more voting strength? Ans: North

So whoever (SS,SW,SE) the North massively supports in the South wins the Presidential election right?! Good

2. The Truth is that, with the recent tribal war that has resulted to issuing of eviction notice and killing of Northerns in the South West (by Amotekun, Sunday Igboho) and in the South East (by IPOB, ESN), the Fulani and Hausa Political and Religious Godfathers will never support any politician from South West or South East for Presidency.

3. In the Niger delta (South South) it’s a different case, there are no killings of northerners, no eviction notice, no region security outfit to check mate a particular tribe which is the Fulani who controls the politics of the North.

Let me tell you, the North have settled for the Niger delta to rather return to power than allow the South West or South East to get the Presidency.

The North have discovered that, it is the Niger deltan who owns the resources (crude oil) is the best region to support for Presidency. The north has decided that, the devil they know (Niger delta) is better than the angel (South West and South East) they don’t know.

With the North Supporting the Niger delta (South South), for presidency in 2023, the South East will have no other option than to support the Niger delta, while those in the South West who oppose this move, will end up protesting or arrested and charged for corruption.

Why PDP will never zone it’s Presidency to the South East.

With the South South 100% PDP, The South East has only Two PDP governors,

It is not fair and it would not make any sense to abandon the South South, who have sponsored and stood by PDP 100% across its states, and go ahead to chose the Presidential candidate from the South East with only two PDP governors.

What about the voting strength between the South South and South East??

The South South has more voting strength than the South East which is not even 100% PDP unlike the South South. Only Rivers state 1.5million votes and Delta state 1.3million votes are more than three South East States votes combine together.

The PDP interest is all about winning election and not compensating the South East or any region.

Note: Southerners, go and relax and support a good Niger deltan for Presidency, we are coming back to Power and nobody can stop us because we did only one term and we must complete our tenure.

We own the resources, we expect the Yorubas and Igbos to support us.

Those of you thinking they would bring back Jonathan, it will not work, people like Wike, Amaechi, Donald Duke are there to represent us and we believe these set of politicians more than JONATHAN.

With the recent threat by the New Militant group few days ago, Nigerians should know that, we will cripple the economy, make lagos insecure and ungovernable if we are not allowed to Produce the President as it moves to the South.
Your last paragraph is an invitation for war if you strike Lagos.
The so called Niger Delta are mainly Ijaws nothing more nothing less hence will be...... Okay na.

Igboid:
There is actually no group called Olukumi in Aniocha, they are called ODIANI .

And they speak Igbo as first language and not as second language.

That Olukumi are Yoruba is a historical misinformation.
The kings in Olukumi are of Ondo origin, but they didn't meet the land empty. They met indigenous Igbos there who accepted their leadership.
So when the king was saying that Odiani migrated from Yoruba, that's not the full story. The full story is that the royal family were Yoruba soldiers from Owo side who were sent on expedition to Aniocha by Oba Bini, they loved the people and decided to settle amongst them and were made kings.

See:http://ugboduanioma..com/2018/11/a-brief-untold-history-about-igbo.html?m=1
Why should I accept your account above that of the king?

They speak Olukumi as the first language and now bears Olukumi name. grin

I also thought that he was ineligible due to the amendment to the constitution that prohibits someone that has been sworn in twice from contesting for the position of president. https://www.nairaland.com/4550655/buhari-signs-law-stopping-vps Thanks again for the correction.

I agree with point 3 of your submission. I was surprised when the OP said that GEJ was president until 2019. That's why I asked that question.

Once again, thank you very much.

Until the Hausa's come out to speak for themselves, this problem of always attacking both Fulani and Hausa because of the difficulty of identifying whom is Hausa and Fulani
This can also be said about some Yoruba's that were also influence by Fulani religion but the yorubas were only lucky that they are not in the north like Hausa ( but kwara na problem sha)

PERSONAL THEORY
this attack on Hausa when fighting Fulani will quicken the division of Fulani and Hausa considering the fact that Hausa are gradually fighting back in the north against these herders and the Hausa will not want to suffer for the crime of the fulanis.

Am saying all this because of what I have always seen in Benin that when a Fulani man commit a crime against the indigenes, the entire northerners suffer for it weather Fulani or Hausa
aside this recent one that happen at ogheghe ( Benin ), there has always been situation like this or even worse than this recent one were the entire northerners in Benin were been attack from upper axis of Benin to ringroad, Lagos street, new benin, Erie, sapale road, ugbowo, etc

sincerely speaking, I really sorry for all this Hausa people for condition they face with.
Fulani did not bring Islam to the Yorubas. Islam had been in Yorubaland since the 14th century. Long before Fulani migrated to Nigeria.

Maybe you know better than
Ayo Isinyemeze, the Oloza.

Far from home, Yoruba community makes home in Delta State
National Mirror, November 2011 — Not many people know that there is an authentic Yoruba community in Delta State. Well, there is. The Oloku Mi people who migrated from Owo/Akure area of the present day Ondo State have lived in a community known as Ugbodu in Aniocha Local Government Area of Delta State since circa 11th Century AD. AMOUR UDEMUDE visited the community and found a people eager to retain as many aspects of their origin as possible......

“We are a Yoruba speaking community and the name of our language is Oloku mi,” she disclosed. Finally the king, H.R.M. Ayo Isinyemeze, the Oloza (Obi) of Ugbodu, met the desire of the writer. The youthful looking, handsome royal father explained. According to the monarch who is also the chairman of the Traditional Rulers Council in Aniocha North, the Ugbodu Oluku mi speaking people migrated from Owo/Akure axis in the current day Ondo State between 9th and 11th Century AD to settle down in Benin during the reign of King Ogiso of Benin. They, however, had to leave Benin for their current abode after a particular incident which rendered them unsafe. “The language, Oluku mi is a dialect of the Yoruba. Interestingly, we are not the only speakers of the language.

If kingship and Kingdoms were the best why are everybody practicing the democracy Ndị Igbo were known for?
In the midst of all black Apes in Nigeria, Ndi Igbo were the only advanced creature with high IQ to establish an indigenous democracy system while the remaining apes were running primitive kingship like bunch of monkeys they are
This one here thinks it is something to brag about. Well that is an Ape way. Bragging about how low and primitive they are. That is why democracy is the hardest thing for the apes in Nigeria because they don't understand it whereas it is something the Igbo man knows. The British were so intrigued with the democracy they saw in Igbo land that they shamelessly adopted it and bastardized our land with kingship system so that we can be like other black apes in Nigeria but it will soon come to an end.
And you are here bragging of your primitive ape kingship.
Shameless ape.
