rvp20183: He is leveraged to the gills. He has borrowed 4.5B dollars from 12 Nigerian banks to build it the refinery - with it's doubtful ROI. This will be another TOMATO PLANT . He has borrowed 6.7B dollars to finance tomato, refinery, fertilzer and god knows what. He has no real wealth. He is paper tiger. The Kenyatta owns real wealth - including banks.
Borrowing money is part of business. However, Kenyatta is still a baby in terms of wealth. Even Eleganza group owner who was stopped from buying lands in Lagos state because he bought too much, is not as rich as the top 100 in Nigeria. You are here talking about one corrupt politician.
rvp20183: You're talking six desolate towers - that are probably un-occupied. Yeah it similar to Konza city (1 tower now). It far behind Tatu City & Northland City. Konza city - one tower. Look at Nairobi - new CBD - Westland and Upperhill - that didn't exist when Eko City started. The picture doesn't include OLD CBD. Majority of those high rises have been building the last decade - and lot more are underway - the same period Eko City started.
rvp20183: Dangote has paper money - valuation - Mois and Kenyattas - have real wealth - most of their companies are not even listed. Maybe Sani Abacha loot at Swiss was bigger...but the guys who depend on valuations and debt financing like Dangote have got nothing on these guys.
The ongoing Northland city - is owned by Kenyattas. Kenyatta land holding in Nairobi alone is more than 10,000 acres I think. That is Nairobi where an acre at mimum will cost you 1M dollars. .
This is just part of their land - Northland City. The 11,576-acre piece of land is located 15 km from the Nairobi city centre. If you assume 1acre is 1M dollars ..that tell you from just that part of the city - Kenyatta wealth is11.67B dollars!
If you factor their land holdings in other part of Nairobi. Then you go to Nairobi metro. I mean just from land alone in Nairobi Metro - they'd ran some many circle - real circle - on Dangote.
You haven't factored the land outside Nairobi Metro - another 150,000 acres. That is just LAND. We have Not talked about companies. Brookside - now arguably largest dairy company in Africa - was few years ago valued at 400M - I bet now it exceed 1B dollars. And they are so many other companies....
Estimated to host 250,000 people, Northlands City has 3,570 acres set aside for residential housing including low density residential (3,134 acres), high density residential (306 acres) and medium density residential (130 acres).
It seems you thought Dangote became richest man because of cement.
The refinery he is building is enough to buy all the lands in Nairobi and still collect change.
I am not talking about the flour mill industry, cement industry, fruit juice industry, Noddles, construction company, fertilizer plant, petrochemical plant etc
You should have known, Dangote is also into real estate but you are here talking about one chewing gum lands in Nairobi. Bhuhahahaha!

rvp20183: Actually if we include our political class - the list of black billionaires would be so long. Maybe Sani Abacha stole that much - but Kenyattas have had 25yrs and Moi's 24yrs of stealing. Their list of wealth is so long - in nearly all sectors - in so many countries - we need so many pages here.
They cannot be listed by forbes because their wealth is stained by corrupt allegations. These are real wealth - no paper wealth in valuation at stock exchanges.
NairobiWalker: Once again, I'm telling you using the fact that a Nigerian woman won Miss World to claim Nigerian women are desired is just stupid. They don't even focus on beauty in that thing - see, a transgender woman is on course to win Miss Universe, does that make transgenders the most desired women on earth? Ethiopia has never won Miss world, can you honestly look me in the face and say Nigeria has more beautiful women than Ethiopia?
Those are not my opinions, those are the opinions of the average Kenyan man towards Nigeria women. Trust me, I'm not saying this for the sake of arguing.
I don't know which picture posting contest you're talking about and u don't know how you decide you won either but based on how you guys argue here I have an idea. forgiveness for example comes here with this skyscraper battle every other time and all the time we post him more skyscrapers from Nairobi than Lagos but everytime he claims victory.
Kenyan women don't come in the same shape either, that's common sense. But on average, Nigerian women have wide shoulders and wide faces.
Lupita has an awesome figure. Google her and Yemi Alade and compare, the only thing she lacks is boobies. Lupita isn't even desired for her shape here in Kenya, she's just average in that department. Google people like Sarah Hassan, Corazon Kwamboka, Huddah Monroe, Grace Msalame et al and see.
Well, I can only speak for East Africans and specifically Kenyans. Maybe you can tell me why other West Africans don't want you. All I know, in Kenya, 1. When a man desires a woman who's more beautiful than the average Kenyan, he looks to Ethiopia and Eritrea.
2. When he wants a woman that's similar to a Kenyan in looks department but more submissive and less materialistic, he looks to Uganda and Tanzania.
3. When he's the lazy type who wants a woman to finance his lifestyle, he looks for an older white woman.
Generally, East African men have nothing to desire about a Nigerian woman
D I can't speak for you but most East African men don't desire West African women either.......and considering it's the man that makes the move, I think this is more about lacking opportunity on the side of the Nigerian woman. I may be wrong though.
Below is a picture of Lupita Nyong'o who apparently according to you has no hourglass figure. Compare her to Alade or Tiwa Savage.
Was upper hills chamber reduced from 28 floors to 21? Answer yes or no.
Is your dwarf one Africa place up to 100m? Answer Yes or No?
rvp20183: Well you're well known liar..so typical. We are still waiting for that building. As regard to services...Kenya is not 91B - that is the entire economy - it more like 55B - about 60% the economy is services - the agriculture, manufacturing, construction and minning - takes 40%.
Nigeria services sector - we went thro financial (2.5 times kenya), Insurance (kenya beat nigeria), tourism, hotels & accommodation (we beat you), entertainment & media (2 times kenya), advertising (we beat you), real estate & formal trading ( we beat you), informal trading (nobody has the figures , Gov services (we have about the same budget), social spending in education & etc (we beat you).
Actually looking at it again - it appears you service sector might be equal to Kenya or smaller despite the population disparity - it appears the rest of your economy is just tuber-growers in the south and cattle herders in the north
Which building?
Are you blind?
That is the total of each countries service sector which is about 3 times of your sector.
Despite your stable politics, your country has been overtaken by a country coming from political wilderness. Bhuhahahaha!.
ii. Banking industry revenue ..$10b...........$1.2b
B (i) Insurance industry assets.$2.6b..............$5.7b

Let me go straight to the point.
Of the $79.22b GDP of Kenya in 2017, the service sector contributed 45.38% while that of Nigeria was 55.8%.
Meaning, Kenya's service sector contributed $35.9b. However, since the revenue Nigeria's service sector generates is times 5 of Kenya's service sector, we will multiple it with the sum Kenya's service sector contributed to the GDP.
That is about $179.5b.
You lied big time.
Nigeria's revenue in telecom is 4 times, banking 10 times, FMCG 4 times, E&M (+ filmed) 5 times, hospitality 3 times and gambling 3 times. These figures can be verified from reliable sources. Stop fooling yourself.
rvp20183: Maybe you can show us one with qualified acceptance. Nigeria would be a perfect candidate. IMF offers technical assistance but how you use it is upto you.
Oil is you only true industry. That is why you catch recession when oil prices drop. As for services sector - we have gone thro it sector to sector - and we have compared to kenya - at best your service industry is twice kenya - and at times even less than kenya. Our GDP is 90B dollars. Your's right now has come down to 350B or so...but in reality it should be about twice kenya plus OIL.
You must be kidding when you talk about Brazil GDP. Nigeria economy is simple. It export crude oil and import food & refined oil. It second or first importer of wheat, rice and name it.
I'll ignore your ignorance on brazil agri - you agri is not even at kenya or south africa level - maybe you do really good with yams, cassava and such tubers - but outside that - you are nothing.
Continue to fool yourself based on the bolded. We know Nigeria service sector is 3 - 4 times of that of Kenya after various sections under service proved with verifiable facts that it is so.
You can continue to live self denial.
$280b (Nigeria) Vs $91b (Kenya).
forgiveness: Now that it has been proven Nigeria smashed Kenya times 5 in the Service sector of the economy, let me do the breakdown and calculate the amount it contributed to each countries GDP in 2017.

$280b (Nigeria) Vs $91b (Kenya) in service sector. This is for a country that has been politically stable since independent against a country just coming out from military rule.
Nowenuse: Of course not, we use the world bank and IMF statistics which definitely support the Nigerian statistics
How many industries are in Mombasa, Kisumu & Nakuru?
The number of industries in Port harcourt, Kano, Kaduna, Ibadan, Onitsha and many other Nigerian cities are highly intimidating.
Nigeria has financial city centers all over the country and not just small so called cities with 1 or 2 highrises of a few hundred thousand people with no financial backbone!
Nairobi is the only financial center in the whole of Kenya!
All their industrial estates and buildings in Nairobi are occupied by weeds, mouse and spider's cobwebs.
What do you expect from other Kenya's cities? Bhuhahahaha!
rvp20183: I am not sure who was ranking cities in 9th century.Mombasa is a very ancient city. It clearly has been a city for more than 1,000 years. Was kenya capital for the first few years.
rvp20183: The pictures looks good. Is that really apapa lagos - I thought I would see Tin Can port.
There is no way ABUJA can beat Mombasa.
I don't know enough of Port Harcourt but my initial take is - Kisumu is better. We still have Eldoret & Nakuru - just in case there is another Nigeria city that is half -decent. Not KANO type slums.
Was Mombasa ever listed or ranked among cities since its creation?
No Nigerian worries about it because we see them rise everyday here. It's you that is desperate to catch up after centuries of being below the pecking order.
rvp20183: 30 floors in 2018 - is exciting you - Nairobi we are looking at 80 floors! Pinnacle Towers which is back on construction is 70 floors and 45 floors.
Once complete, Pinnacle Towers in Nairobi, Kenya, with a height of almost 300m, will be the tallest building in Africa.
Besides, don't be a local champion, come out from your Kenya frog pond. Eko Atlantic city will host this 75 floors Nigeria Elevation Tower with the height of 377m. It won the 2017 Africa Architecture award for the best design.
Ibrahimanis: The WTC has been going on like forever, I hope they don't abandon it.
I don't think so.
Although, the bad economy in 2015 affected it and many other projects. However, since the economy is picking up, many abandoned projects are getting a look.
68816419: Eko Energy Estate will have more skyscrapers than the whole of east African countries
Three towers completed 24 floors each 2 Trade Center Towers .36 Floors under construction . Many more towers under way some commercial low-rise structures and a Shopping Mall.

Chaiiiiiii! You beat me to it. I was about to show this project.
There are three other projects in Abuja. The Buhari Tower 30 floors (336ft), Aso Towers (29 floors), and ICC Towers (200m) are coming up soon.
This is beside the World trade center of 37 floors and the culture center tower (160m) projects that were on hold at some point but have now seen the light of the day. Probably, by next year construction will commence.
