I can't believe this because my friend was moving from one motor pack to another in search of the subsidized price in port harcourt but was not real. The acredited motor pack price was 20k while some none acredited motor carried 18k. So it doesn't work in port.
I called it scam from federal government.

You see your foolery, of all over millions of people that transit for the festive season alone in Lagos, it was only slight over 163,000 people that benefited from the government rebate all over the nation. Common sense should have told you that your government is just playing on your intelligence. You should have also asked question, reason the only transport company contacted is only in Lagos and no transport company worthy to be contacted elsewhere, especially the densely populated states like Abuja, Kaduna, Kano, Anambra, Rivers, Delta, Abia and plateau.
The critical question is who paid for the remaining 50% passengers were to paid because you claimed you paid no dime and benefited in the gesture? At least somebody should be responsible for the remaining payment. Even in the news here, it was plainly said 50% payment by the government.
Another critical issue, as the rebate lessen the purchasing power of those that benefited in the rebate or reduced the price of bag of rice or gari in the market? We praise policies that perpetually keep us in poverty and that is why the country is not moving forward but retrogression. Now you've termed it sore loser not appreciating the gesture but I want to put it to you that you're one of the enemies not this country for always in support of policies of retrogression and poverty induced one. Government in the whole world provide enabling environment for the citizens to thrive and make life meaningful for them but in this our clime the reverse is the case and those that suppose to talk are the praise singers while those that talked are sore losers to reprobate minds.

Hon. Minister, is it possible to pass the border without human contact? Because those shameless immigration forcefully collect money to stamp your passport to go out and even enter your own country.

In fact, all the agencies at the border collect money from Nigerians and even Africans.

Is it also possible to rearrange the clearance of containers at the ports and borders? Because the agent use this opportunity to exploit importers which results to inflation.

They will never allow you to know the real fee of the shipping company, terminal and custom clearance because importers are not allowed to generate the invoice by themselves except through the agent.

I will advise that it be mandated that invoice must be sent to owners directly through email and owners should pay directly into the government account with the name the importer used to import into Nigeria.

That will reduce inflation because some agent with the collaboration of customs wants to make between 1.5m - 2m naira on importation of just one car alone besides others fees.

The owners of these cars wouldn't want to loose money hence add the agent 2m, other fees and his own profits on the vehicle making it extremely expensive. This is where inflation is also coming from.

Owners must be involved in direct payment of imported goods. Assigning this to agent tantamount to being exploited.

I used that train from Itakpe to Warri and it was loaded with passengers. No body paid a dime except those who didn't book online. The security and official used that to exploit them. Nevertheless, it was free.
