Just get yourself busy you will not feel it. In ghana no brick layera will take 3000 naira for a day job. You pay him or her amount equal to 6000naira at minimum almost 300 naira and you said your minimum wages is 60 dollars. While a bottle of 35cl Coca Cola in Nigeria is 70 naira, if we consider the minimum wages of 59 dollars in Nigeria, who do you think dey live better life? Your economy dey .... Soon minimum wages go increase to about 200 dollars for naija. |

TayserMahiri: You said 60 dollars for Ghana is the highest minimum wage for west africa? Nigeria's minimum wages fluctuated btw 100 - 120 dollars 5 years ago and before recession and devaluation recently. Presently it's 59 dollars but it will be reviewed to about 180 dollars soon and if naira appreciates it will around 250 dollars. |

A 100ghc is 23 dollars enough to get you a room self contain in the capital city accra in average location more than enough to get you two month apartment in lagos in average location.
there is inflation in the system but you can beat it if you are working. you charge base on what you spend. you will not feel the inflation as a ghanian or foreigner so far you are working. Hahahahahah! How much is a bottle of Coca cola in Ghana? |

He has played barely two games barely 10 minutes of football all season at a low level Wolfsburg that has just escaped relegation from the Bundesliga. He wasn't considered good enough for his team to start him or even play him over 45 minutes.
This can cause disaffection in the camp as thier is no justification beyond past glories. It has to be a level playing field. Even Isaac Success has better justification for selection than him.
There should be a clear an open modality for selection that is not the case here. GBAM! |

komekn: Huh
I do not dispute what you are saying 28 games and 6 goals is not great. However, he does not play for Nigeria as out an out striker. So as a goal tally it is not that bad.
However, when he does play he makes a good positive contribution.
Considering his club form at what we can describe as top clubs not the creme de La creme of Europe but top league clubs in Europe he has done well. I mean 43 league games and 23 goals for Olympiacos is far from easy. That's why he got his big money bags move to China.
I do feel we are too quick to write off some of our ageing starts too quickly. Gyan for Ghana is still cutting it to some degree. I feel a better mixture of young and old would be better.
I do suspect that our NFF officials are trying to make arrangements and will impress upon Rohr options that are not to our best interest.
Consider Defoe who was written off by England and the EPL has just signed a £130k a week deal with Bournemouth and is back playing for the 3 Lions. Defoe is 2 years older than Obafemi 6 years older than Ideye and 6 years older than Efe Ambrose.
I see players in completely dead leagues being considered when our old guard tried, tested and some who are at top clubs are being ignored.
If you are not cutting it in your club with very limited exceptions like KC at City. You can't be invited to the SE.
Osimhen has played possible 10 minutes of football for lowly struggling Wolfsburg in two games and he is in the SE. That's simply not fair and sends a wrong signal when there are players who are cutting it week in and out for thier clubs. Na wetin I dey talk tey tey bi dis but nobody wan hear. Oga, you are right on point with ya last two paragraphs. In short, everything paragraphs dey kampe. |

Kenya hosts the hqs of 60 multinational companies serving east/central/southern Africa, ssAfrica and the whole Africa.
Ie, u have the IBM in Lagos which serves only the west African region, but the one in Nairobi is the ultimate hq for the whole of the continent. You are a bloody liar. IBM Africa headquarter is not located in Nairobi. They only operate East Africa regional headquarter in Nairobi and East Africa comprises of only 10 countries compared to their West Africa regional headquarter located in Lagos that serves 20 bigger countries. We have many of them like that in that fake list. Out of the 6 listed for SubSahara Africa only 5 ARE NOT LOCATED IN NAIROBI. Now, let me break it down. Out of the 58 multinational companies, 28 of these companies serves only the East Africa region which comprises only 8-10 countries, 1 serves the SubSahara Africa while 19 of these organizations serves the whole of Africa, of which most are humanitarian agencies, The remaining 10 multinationals neither have their East nor Africa regional headquarters in Nairobi. Busted. Nairobi is not blabla what you claim. Organization setting up companies first in Nairobi doesn’t tantamount to being the Africa regional headquarter. It may be the starting point but as soon as they expand to West Africa, Nairobi looses its regional headquarter status sharp sharp. Note; out of your list 25 multinational companies serves the whole 20 countries in West Africa from Lagos while 1 multinational company Africa regional headquarter is located in Lagos. This is just from your list. Whatever if we release Lagos list? |

TheSuperNerd: Bundesliga and LA Liga are the Two best leagues when it comes to Technical quality and some more....
The EPL is second to them both... or lemme say Third overall.
Yeah money is a factor... but also these three leagues boasts of the highest volume of the truly top teams in Europe and in the world today...
From Real Madrid to Barcelona to Bayern Munich to Manchester Utd to Chelsea to Atletico Madrid to Sevilla to Manchester city to Borussia Dortmund to Liverpool to Borussia Mochen Gladbach to Tottenham to a few others.... big guns they are...
And they all interchange players among themselves sometimes... If I include Serie A, We will also have Juventus, Roma, Intermilan, Ac Milan, Lazio... top guns.
So that prestige and better competitiveness is also a huge factor. The @bolded na suspect when "big guns' are concerned The truth is, money is the factor for the Spanish, EPL and the Bundusliga big guns to rule Europe. Apart from Real Madrid, Barcelona and Athletico Madrid in Spain, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund in Germany, Juventus, Inter Milan, Ac Milan and Roma(recently) in Italy, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and Manchester City(recently), Monaco, PSG, Marseille and Lyon in France and Porto and Benfica which other top guns do you have in those leagues? Once you are playing for one of those clubs in Europe, you are sure of winning the league and most of them are sure of winning the Champions League too save some like Porto, Benfica, Arsenal, Ac Milan, Lyon, Manchester City, Marseille and Inter Milan (watch out for this club in the next two seasons) who doesn't have the financial capability or the right talents to lead them to the promise land though they have the potentials. Right now, the Lique 1 has caught up with these big guns with the financial capability and the right talents and that is why we saw two of their best team did very very very well in Europe against the so called top guns. What I am saying is, PSG and Monaco are on the same level with Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona, Athletico Madrid, Real Madrid, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, PSG and Bayern Munich. A little bit above Manchester City and those not mentioned. They are in the league of Champions and that is all that matters. If you ask me to choose between the two now, I will not blink an eye to choose Mbappe over Iheanacho based on current form and what they bring to the table. Yes, Mbappe is that good because I have seen him played and you can only make decisions based on what you see nau nau though we can't ignore the 'potentials'. O yes! We call potentials when a player is very good but that is where it ends if the 'potential player' is not or doesn't get the opportunity to express himself. Solanke, Afobe, Rabiu Ibrahim etc are all potential players but it avails nothing if it's not translated on the field of play. Potential doesn't tantamount to being a world class player. You must prove it. As it is, Iheanacho is not on the same level with Mbappe currently though he might be equally or even better than him. A living dog is better than a dead lion. I hope una get my point. |

TheSuperNerd: How Ezenwa, Alampasu Perfomed During Shooting Practice In Super Eagles Training
https://owngoalnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/8F9088EB-BD3B-4EE8-9784-91FAEC70180F-4654-00000241D3BCB58B.jpeg
The two goalkeepers in the camp of the Super Eagles were up against the other outfield players in a shooting drill which took place yesterday after the players tennis ball session.
Owngoalnigeria.com Michael James witnessed the session and reports that Dele Alampasu and Ikechukwu Ezenwa both displayed cat like reflexes to all that was thrown at them, but Alampasu edged Ezenwa on saves made.
Ezenwa was particularly impressive with balls hit at his chest height while Alampasu was at his best with high hit balls but struggled to cope with grounders, example of such was the well hit drive from Alhassan Ibrahim which evaded him.
Overall both goalkeepers did well during the session which saw almost all of the 17 players in camp take part bar Ahmed Musa who is nursing a knock picked up during the friendly clash against Corsica.
Meanwhile during the shooting exercise Oghenekaro Etebo came out top when it comes to hitting the ball with power and precision, but Uche Agbo also impressed with his shots same as Wilfred Ndidi.
Also worthy of a mention is Alhassan Ibrahim who buried most of his efforts, which were low and hard with directions which left the goalkeepers with little or no chance of making saves.

Exclusive: Paris Saint-Germain Hoping To Snatch Iheanacho From Under West Ham's Noses
https://allnigeriasoccer.com/football_pics/81084Kelechi.png
French moneybags Paris Saint-Germain are making a late swoop to secure the signature of the talented Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho, allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report.
West Ham have emerged as the frontrunner to secure the services of the Manchester City wonderkid but face serious competition from PSG, and don't have the financial muscle to compete with the Ligue 1 powerhouse if it goes into a bidding war.
PSG are monitoring the situation of Iheanacho as they consider him one of the most exciting youngsters in Europe, and certainly believe that he has to leave Manchester City to further his career after falling out of favour with manager Pep Guardiola.
Les Parisiens are confident of sealing a deal for the Super Eagles star because they believe West Ham is not a high caliber club like PSG, but are aware that the decision to come to France or stay with a smaller club in England lies with the striker.
Iheanacho, 20, has also been linked with possible moves to Borussia Dortmund, TSG Hoffenheim and Leicester City.
He departed the Super Eagles training camp in Paris on Saturday, but is expected to rejoin the squad ahead of Thursday's international friendly with Togo.

I recall I was the first to share the full video link to the Nigeria-Senegal game when the NFF/Super Eagles twitter handles released it via vimeo.... and even after enough people saw the full game, views were still not one.... differing views were still all over the place....
Like you've rightly pointed out, prejudice is indeed human nature, generally speaking.... people will always see what they have made up their mind to wanna see...
But I have learnt to dissociate myself long ago from such prejudice in all areas of my Living especially as regards National team football analyses..... If we go by tribal prejudice, you may not believe the state I hail from in Nigeria if I tell you..... loolll
Anyway, no one here really saw the full game... as for me, I only saw some good part of it thru some link shared here and also thru some other link when second half began... It is sad we cannot get our hands for now on the full video of the game. Hopefully the NFF shares it in their handle or the Super Eagles handle on twitter.
The video Highlights shared via FranceCorsica on Facebook also helped me see a few parts I missed... but the story is still not fully told.
So I get you.... Michael James and co of Owngoalnigeria may just be a little prejudiced in their reports... it is possible.
Really hope the full video can be released... and believe me if I see it... I will surely share it like I did for the Senegal game. Sorry , I couldn't reply your post and Icon4.
