NairobiWalker: Let's not talk about 12 floor towers. It's useless discussing them. I told you there are too many of them in Nairobi. Let's go direct to bursting bubbles.
Nairobi has 23 complete towers over 20 floors. That's true. Now let's see your Lagos list.
1. Eko energy estate is yet to be constructed. Construction has not even yet began yet you list it under complete buildings. Stop lying. Those are 3 towers down. Lagos is now 21 down from 24 that you listed.
2. Central Bank of Nigeria is 19 floors, not 20. Lagos down to 20 from 21.
3. Eagle House and Conoil House is the same building. One more down for Lagos. 19, down from 20.
4. Eko tower is 17 floors high. That's one more down for Lagos. 18 down from 19.
See now? Lagos has 18 in comparison to Nairobi's 23. Now stop laughing around like a monkey and feeding us with lies and wake up to reality. Disgraced nyanyako. Jidunge mkundu. Look at what this guy said in his post. Too inconsistent in speech. 1, He claimed 'the construction has not even began' but after after he was proved wrong, he said it is still under construction. Bhuuuhahaha! And the guy added two underconstruction or uncompleted projects on his list. Bhuuuhahaha! 2, He said Central Bank of Nigeria Lagos is 19 but I showed him where blackboard listed it 20 (actually 23), he said blackboard dey lie. But pictures doesn’t lie. 3, The same thing I said in no 2 is what he said. But pictures doesn't lie. By way I personally know those two buildings at Marina. 4, I showed him picture but he doesn't know how to count. I can't help you. NairobiWalker: 1. So is that building complete? What if I include Nairobi buildings that are under construction? Stop lying.
2. Central Bank of Nigeria is 19 floors.
3. How does that prove Conoil House and Eagle House is not the same building? Can you post us pictures of both buildings? What you're giving us is simply a list done by another liar like yourself.
4. You're ridiculous. Your fourth statement doesn't even make sense. Perhaps you should also take English classes like your friend Sherveman. Eko Tower is 17 floors. Prove otherwise.
The only person who wants to cry is you. 1, Show me your list and I will pinpoint to the ones not completed. That picture of Eko Energy Estate was in 2016. 1st pic Eko Energy Estate T/O 2, 2nd Picture, Central Bank of Nigeria Lagos 20 (23). Abeg make una help me count am because this fellow no sabi count. 3, Blackboard and Wikipedia are lairs. Bhuuuhahaha! This picture will tell you you are the lair. 3rd picture (from left Conoil House and next Eagle House) 4, You mean you counted only 17 floors! I will post it again for all to see. As you can see, Lagos 24..... Nairobi 23....

Even if I remove the 16 stories with 12 floors, LAGOS STILL HAS MORE HIGHRISE THAN THE WHOLE OF KENYA WITH 110 HIGHRISES AGAINST NAIROBI 76(12 FLOORS INCLUDED). However we can't remove it because Moscow, New York, Seoul had their 12 floors buildings counted when the data was collected. As it stands, Lagos has 126 highrises while Nairobi has 76. Don't deceive anybody here, your 12 stories were also included in the data collation. Like every other cities. If Nairobi doesn’t have data for buildings in the city, I am sorry the world is not responsible for their lackadaisical attitude.

forgiveness: Bhuuuhahaha! Look at what this guy posted before I posted the list of Highrises in Lagos.
He claimed Nairobi has more highrise with over 20 floors above both completed and underconstruction despite the fact that no where in the world uses that parameter to determine a highrise. Well I proved he was wrong by giving links to prove my point that Lagos has more highrises than the whole of Kenya. I even went my way to list the high-rises in Lagos
However, with all the gragra, he was able to list 37 highrises both completed and under construction but when he saw that Nairobi can't measure up with Lagos in terms highrise, he can up with this.....
He claimed he can't list all buildings with over 12 floors, as if Nairobi has more than Moscow, Hong Kong, New York etc that document theirs.
Meaning, in his voice.. 'The fact that you can even list ALL buildings in Lagos with over 12 floors is testament how you have so few of them', means New York, Seoul, Tokyo, Moscow have few of them. Bhuuuhahaha!

Avic Tower 6. - 24 Total over 20 floors complete and under construction = 37. Nairobi is peerless. DEFINITION The term "skyscraper" was first applied to buildings of steel framed construction of at least 10 stories in the late 19th century, a result of public amazement at the tall buildings being built in major cities like Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia, Detroit, and St. Louis.[3] The first steel-frame skyscraper was the Home Insurance Building (originally 10 stories with a height of 42 m or 138 ft) in Chicago, Illinois in 1885. Some point to Philadelphia's 10-story Jayne Building (1849–50) as a proto-skyscraper, or to New York's seven-floor Equitable Life Building (New York City), built in 1870, for its innovative use of a kind of skeletal frame, but such designation depends largely on what factors are chosen. Even the scholars making the argument find it to be purely academic...... The Emporis Standards Committee defines a high-rise building as "a multi-story structure between 35–100 meters tall, or a building of unknown height from 12–39 floors" and a skyscraper as "a multi-story building whose architectural height is at least 100 m or 330 ft. Some structural engineers define a highrise as any vertical construction for which wind is a more significant load factor than earthquake or weight. Note that this criterion fits not only high-rises but some other tall structures, such as towers. The word skyscraper often carries a connotation of pride and achievement. The skyscraper, in name and social function, is a modern expression of the age-old symbol of the world center or axis mundi: a pillar that connects earth to heaven and the four compass directions to one another.[8] A loose convention of some in the United States and Europe draws the lower limit of a skyscraper at 150 m or 490 ft.https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/SkyscraperBhuuuhahaha! Based on the first @bolded Lagos has 8 skyscrapers completed than the whole of Kenya. Sorry With about 10 skyscrapers with the minimum height of 100m under construction. DEFINITION OF HIGHRISE Various bodies have defined "high-rise": Emporis Standards defines a high-rise as "A multi-story structure between 35–100 meters tall, or a building of unknown height from 12–39 floors." According to the building code of Hyderabad, India, a high-rise building is one with four floors or more, or 15 to 18 meters or more in height... The International Conference on Fire Safety in High-Rise Buildings defined a high-rise as "any structure where the height can have a serious impact... In the U.S., the National Fire Protection Association defines a high-rise as being higher than 75 feet (23 meters), or about 7 stories.[5] Most building engineers, inspectors, architects and similar professionals define a high-rise as a building that is at least 75 feet (23 m) tall.[citation needed] https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tower_blockBased on the definition @bolded, Lagos has more highrise than the whole of Kenya. While Abuja and Port Harcourt has more than Mombasa. sorry 123 Highrises (completed and underconstruction) Please, note that I didn't add 8 completed skyscrapers and the 10 underconstruction. They are all above 20 floors and 100m. Btw, I also used to believe that Nigeria is as highly developed, quite like SA, until I stumbled upon this topic in 2009,

KarmaKill: Why are you struggling so hard to remove Nairobi towers? Lol.
I&M bank is just over 99m but below 100m. Some sources put it at 99 while others put it at 100. I first included it in the list but when I saw how bad you were struggling I knocked it off to avoid lots of argument.
KCB however is 100m and I've given you several posts to show you how LéMac's height was increased. You just pretend not to get it. Interestingly the website you're using to place Nairobi's count to 6 and LéMac at less than 100m places Lagos' count at 5 yet you don't use it to conclude Lagos has only 5 towers over 100m lol.
Interestingly the website you use also places many other towers at heights that were long revised (For instance it places Hass tower 1&2 at 212m and 137m yet the heights have been long revised to 320m and 201m). Which Nairobi's towers? I do things to educate myself and not to win or lose. Being fair to myself is one of the principles I adopted before learning. To be honest, three good sources placed KCB height at 99m. They say where there are two witnesses... Lemac is 23 floors, counting from the ground floor up to the last floor. It is very glaring from pictures that it's indeed 23 floors and the two sources are right on point. The other 3 floors are buried under ground. We call it basement. They are inconsequential when the building is measured from the ground floor up to the last floor. Just direct me to two or three sources that confirmed the building is 126m. On my part, I have checked and everywhere I checked confirmed it is below 90m. The source I gave you counts only 5 for Nairobi and 5 for Lagos. It was I that double checked to confirm but I discovered 1 was missing on both sides. Teleposta Tower was missing from the list and the ministry of Communication Building was missing from the list. I added both to each counts. |

GERALD710: By your definition of 12 floors being a highrise...Then Westlands(and my apartment included), has more 'highrises' than the entire Port Harcourt, leave alone the rest of Nairobi!!! From Westwood to Le Mac, DunHill to Delta-PWC ,From Tune Hotel to Park Inn, From Nova Apartments to SkyNest Apartments, Westlands outmatches Harcourt by faaaar!!!And that is just a corner of Nairobi. Agreed. |

Jay254: Avic is rising very fast.. 6 at a go Yes! Avic is rising fast but only two will meet the minimum requirement of 100m to be called a skyscraper. AVIC office - 175.5m Avic hotel - 145m The rest are Avic residentials, 93m, 86m, 83m and 81m respectively. |

KarmaKill: The LéMac render you gave was the initial one that was designed to be 87m tall. It had 2 penthouses on its roof. The final product as you can see has a dome shaped roof-top bar and is 126m tall. How many floors can you count just by looking at the picture? I just counted 23 floors. Emporis is right, even LéMac Tower official site confirmed it. It is 89m only. Not good for a skyscraper. |

KarmaKill: The Emporis link of Lagos that you provided gives total number of buildings in Lagos over 100m as 5 but you say Lagos has 8. The same link gives Nairobi's complete structures over 100m as 6 and you stick to it despite me giving you a more updated list. Where is your consistency? If go to page 712 and 713 or 715, I explained everything there. Emporis gives total number of buildings in Lagos over 100m as 5 but 3 was missing. The the ministry of Communication Building - 109 m Eko Tower 2 - 110m completed Eko black pearl - 110 m completed I posted the pictures and video, and arinzeejikonye is also doing the needful. Emporis gives the total number of buildings in Nairobi over 100m as 5 but I was generous to confirm from other sources before I made my conclusion then I discovered Teleposta Tower was missing. I added it to the 5 to make it 6. Check it very well, emporis stated only 5 buildings above 100m. |

TayserMahiri: 1. One Afric render and progress
2. Lemac render and progress Hahahahahah! You have exposed KarmaKill (really KarmaKills) He claimed LéMac is 26 floors but if you count the floors from this picture, you will arrive at 23 floors. Bhuuuhahaha! The other 3 floors are buried under ground. You don't count those. LéMac Tower from the ground floor up is 23 floors and the height is 89m. |

KarmaKill: Okay. You win. Hass Tower is still proposed and only 212m high. Avic tower is still proposed and 176m high. Hass Tower 2 is only 137m tall and still proposed. UAP and Britam are still under construction. Happy now? Now you talking but your irony no fit deceive me. I have not come here to win or lose, I have come here to learn. Hope you have the same mindset. ... |
