Now, looking at this table, some will still jump up and say "and Ikechuwu Ezenwa is not on this table so why is he in the Super Eagles and not the guy currently topping the clean sheet table".
Because we know he is there based on nepotism and favourism by the chop - chop assistance coaches. grin

Tyrone Ebuhehi,
John Ogu,
Kenneth Omeruo

Victor Moses, who will be excused from camp tomorrow owing to his injury.

Victor Moses came to camp but will be excused due to injury...
Sone Aluko should replace him but the chop - chop assistance will not allow. grin

Bundesliga 2 player hmmm. How high do you rate this league?
Well, I know the league is not that superb but we should also admit that potentially good players at one point in time played in the Bundusliga 2. e.g David Alaba played in the Bundusliga 3.

Sarenren Bazee has been seen as a prospect even from the German point of view. grin

Simon Moses, Wilfred Ndidi, Shehu Abdullahi and Ahmed Musa.

This is where you misunderstand me.. I gain no pleasure from saying the league players are playing at a low level. I want our league to be the most competitive in Africa but it isn't. We have a long way to go.

Again, it does not mean that there are no talents but i have been disappointed enough times to know that not all that shine in the Nigerian league can play at a higher level. In fact, most don't carry that form to the next level.
The only way forward is for the government to take their hands off the management and ownership of clubs in Nigeria and allow the private sectors take over, then we go see shumthing.

The other day, Nairabet owner wanted to buy 3SC but Oyo state government refused. Why?

But the club is going through a lot of financial problems.

You see, you are quoting me out of context.
He already did well in the NPFL by breaking the league record, so why would such a player not be invited to the U20 team even if he remained in the local league.

My point is Musa featuring in the WYC gave him the full break-in into the Super Eagles.
@bolded is not true. He was invited to the National team in 2010 for the 2010 World Cup but was forced out due to injury.

He even played in one the Africa cup of Nation qualifiers before he kicked a ball in Europe.

The was way back before the WYC.

I no talk say make dem dash home based players quota ooo. grin

The point is that, scoring in a league like Nigeria does not automatically mean the player is top class. We have seen many top scorers in the Nigerian League who could not cut it elsewhere. Let us see Odey in CHAN scoring goals or on the continent scoring goals.

Fred Friday scored a lot of goals in Serbia but he has struggled to score as much in Holland. Tougher league, different results.

Odey could be top class but we need to see him at a higher level.
I think Fred Friday now plays as winger and not as a striker.

A good goal from the guy once nick-named 'the Nigerian Ronaldo'.

We may soon need to start selecting players for the 2019 AAG and 2020 Olympics qualifiers a good number of these young players are eligible.

AAG qualifiers starts next yr. All players who are presently 20yrs and below will make up the Dream team VII. At least this should be an opportunity for a player like Steven Odey

We jst need a good coach with unbiased selection process. I tip that team to do well.

Azubuike Okechukwu, Sadiq Umar, Nura Abdulahi, All Amuneke's U17 2015 boys, Ifeanyi Mathew, Musa Yahaya, Chidera Ezeh, Taiwo Awoniyi, Chidozie Awaziem, Osarenren Obazee, among others.

We can also send invitations to the English duo of Lookman And Abraham.
Lookman and Abraham are only eligible to play for the Super Eagles. grin

He was only earlier invited to the U23 camp by Siasia which he outrightly attended.

Now, the question is will players like lookman or Tammy be willing to join our U20 team? Cos that is where i can only think of placing them for now?
Are those aforementioned eligible to play for Nigeria underage team after playing for England U19 in UEFA competition? grin

So, you think a first team player of Everton and a player banging in goals regularly should be placed lower than players chopping bench and sparingly playing football? grin

I have said it before that these people shouting MLS this, MLS that cannot boast that come what may the Super Eagles will beat Columbia, Uruguay, Chile, or USA. In the FIFA ranking, USA is 30th, Uruguay is 9th, Columbia is 7th, Chile is 4th. Nigeria is 41 o. Some of the players of these teams play in the MLS, Fernando Adi is bossing them week in week out. Even Kaka was invited to the Brazilian team while playing in MLS.

We have players from Cameroun, Ivory Coast, and Mexico playing in the MLS.

So what's the excuse for not inviting Adi when he is regularly showing his quality in the league. It's not just the goals, it's the ways he scores them. Is MLS not better than Cyprus league? What about Bosnia?

According to a 2016 ranking, here are the top 10 leagues in the world:

1 Spanish La Liga 48
2 Premier League 47
3 Bundesliga 42
4 Italian Serie A 37
5 Portuguese Liga 35
6 French Ligue 1 31
7 Dutch Eredivisie 27
8 Argentine League 21
9 Brazilian Serie A 20
10 USA MLS 20

Source: http://www.totalsportek.com/football/ranking-best-league-in-the-world/

I repeat: What's the excuse? Why not invite him to camp and let him compete. Glad the likes of Siasia and Oliseh are out of the settings with their lies that he cannot undertake rigorous workouts.
Please what did they achieve for us with their rigorous training?
God bless you. grin

Look at the snapshot of the history of matches he played before he received a call up. Nothing showed or proved he played for the senior Arsenal team. grin

It was not the best and an academy player was not suppose to make the list, no matter the circumstances but many welcomed it because we don't know what he might turn out to be.

His first match was nothing near impressive but when he started playing for Arsenal, it very easy for him to agree to play for us.
