Comparing apple for apple now.

Lets look at players U21 playing for the Super Eagles or are Super Eagles Invitees. I would want you to name Anglo-Nigerian players U21, that are eligible, that you feel can match or surpass them in talent and performance. Like for like in terms of position.

Alex Iwobi
Kelechi Iheanacho
Wilfred Ndidi
Isaac Success
Oghenekaro Etebo
Musa Mohammed
Moses Simon
Victor Osimhen.

I purposefuly excluded Obazee and Ebuehi bc I have not had an opportunity to fully assess them.
Moses Odubanjo will relegate Musa Mohammed to the reserve. grin

Sheyi Ojo will bench Isaac Succes any time any day. grin

Ademola will give Simon run for his ego. grin

Dominic Solanke will lead the attack better than Iheanacho. Hahaha. grin

Tammy Abraham is not Osimhen mate na. grin

Ovie Ejara will battle it out with Etebor na. grin

Onomah still dey oooo. grin

Why mention Iwobi, a product of England? grin

Ndidi na the baba. Shun sir. grin

I said most of them are not better despite that they are in England.

Had it been that most of those Nigerian youngsters are springing up from the French, Spanish or German academies, wow! I would be singing a different song.

The English youths system is overrated, the earlier you realize that the better.
Is Iwobi overrated? grin

Return, not arrival, he went from Benin to sojourn and conquer smaller lands, which he did.

The Benin empire is the oldest established empire and dynasty in Nigeria... How is it possible that they allow one not from the royal lineage, from another tribe rule them?

Pls think...and do you really believe all those myths that Oduduwa fell from the sky, concocted folklore are what you are narrating.

Does the name Eweka sound Yoruba to you?... Plus I will make you know that most streets in Lagos Island are Edo names... Idumagbo, Osa etc.
Was Eweka born in Benin? grin

If not, how did he 'return'? grin

What is the name of Eweka' s father? grin

Oduduwa fallen from the sky is simply the spiritual aspects of Ifa ideology and not the real story.

That is, Oduduwa has two narratives, the spiritual and the physical. You can't understand. grin

Who gave the name 'Benin' or what was 'Benin' called before the first Oba? grin

List of notable Nigerian forwards/wingers for the period 2012-2014 WC:
Emmanuel Emenike
Brown Ideye
Uche Nwofor
Chinedu Obasi
Victor Anichebe
Osaze Odemwingie
Shola Ameobi
Victor Moses
Ahmed Musa
Obinna Nsofor
Sone Aluko

Looking at the form of those players as at that time, you still tell me Ezekiel was better than all of them? He would not even had offered up to what any of them was offering at that time.

Did Emenike go his first 7 games without a goal?
Look at which form?

You mean Uche Nwofor, Shola Ameobi, Obinna Nsofor, Chinedu Obasi and Osaze Odemwingie were in form in 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 seasons? shocked shocked shocked grin

Exclusive – Rohr Calls Up Olarenwaju Kayode As Osimhen Replacement Ahead Senegal & Burkina Faso Tie

https://owngoalnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/image-4.jpg

Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively report that coach of the Super Eagles Gernot Rohr has handed a maiden call up to Austria Wien’s forward Olarenwaju Kayode for the upcoming friendly games against Senegal and Burkina Faso in London later in the month.

Kayode will replace Victor Osimhen who has withdrawn from the game after undergoing surgery to cure the injury that has stopped him from making his debut for German side Wolfsburg.

” I am very happy that finally the handlers of the Super Eagles have counted me worthy enough for an invitation”, Kayode told Owngoalnigeria.com.

” I want to thank all those who believed in me and I will do everything possible to give this oppurtunity my very best”, he concluded.

The forward who has done credibly well in both domestic and European competitions this season precisely the Europa League, has played for Nigeria at U-17 and 20 level, but this is his first call up to the senior national team.

If you are an adult, then you must be DUMBER than i initially thought!!!! Your answers to my posers are at best vague, stupid, without logic or commonsense and can at best only be conjured up in the dark recesses of a moronic slowpoke like you. It took an EDO prince to civillize you dirty, cowardly loudmouths...FACT. The EDOs eventhough smaller in population than you dreckfressers, conquered your towns and villages with ease, a fact that you morons acknowledge even uptil today by naming some of your dirty little cities and villages after the mighty warriors from ADO ( EDO) e.g ADO ekiti.

You have uptil today descendants of yoruba slaves all over South and Central America sold to the Portugese by the all conquering EDO army. Deny that fact you stupid slowpoke. Name any part of the world where descendants of EDO slaves can be found? Answer, nowhere. That y'all morons had to burnish up your weak-ass history by trying to rope in a mighty kingdom into your degenerate little history is understandable though. How else can you hold up your sorry heads and admit to the whole world that a warrior-like people who are just a fraction of your own populace. ran roughshod allover yorubaland, capturing and subjugating your dirty and cowardly little asses?

The EDOs were a civilized and organized people long before oduduwa, ife or anything the lying yoros have to throw up as their history. Twisting historical facts to push a weak narrative has become the yorubas stock-in-trade. Your oduduwa was supposed to be a philandering Arab prince, flying around the world on his jumbo 747 mat fixed with a rope for disembarkment and looking for a place in the African jungle to start a new race of people called yorubas. PHEWWWW!!!! How believable is that even to you? No wonder most of your so-called obas bleach their skins to look like Arabs or is it Arab halfcast. Phewww once again and good night.

What is your point actually... Are u saying the term 'Oba' is a Yoruba word?... let me Enlighten you a bit, the name changing from the Ogiso title to Oba title, is just change in the description of the stool, the throne of the Benin Empire, it has nothing to do with where Oduduwa is from, pls your argument is baseless and really shallow.

Kingdoms all over the world, change the name of the throne, like the Victorian era, then Elizabeth... This is just change of names that several factors can cause to happen...so your point is weak, cos Oba is not a word owned by the Yoruba.
When did Benin became an Empire/Kingdom?

Is it during the days of Ogisos or during the reign of Oba Oranmiyan?

Oga Pastor what can you say about these verses in your holy book?
Bible says that God is not man
‘God is not a man’ (Numbers 23:19)
‘For I am God, and not man’ (Hosea 11:9)

Jesus is called a man many times in the Bible
‘a man who has told you the truth’ (John 8:40)

‘Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know.’ (Acts 2:22)

‘He will judge the world in righteousness through a man whom He has appointed’ (Acts 17:31)

Any justification for all these contradictions? I'm more than sure you can not win this argument, your holy book is never perfect and will never be so y are u ranting upandan?
That is why the holy bible is 100% perfect.

Do you really need an explanation for those questions up there?

Somebody should send these Bible verses to the old man

Matthew 1:23 - “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

Isaiah 9:6 - For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

John 1:1-3 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made... 1:14 - And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,

John 20:28 - And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”

Acts 20:28 - (God purchased us with His own blood)
Revelation 1:5-6; Revelation 5:8-9 - (Jesus' blood purchased us)

Titus 2:13 - looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ

Hebrews 2:17-18 - “Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.”
It is finished.

Who snubbed who?

The then 18years old Ezekiel that was invited to the Flying Eagles camp in 2011 and then he turned it down. He was not ready for the Super Eagles until prio to 2014 WC when Keshi invited him for a friendly. Yes he was not ready to compete for space with wingers like Victor Moses, Chinedu Ogbuke, Obinna Nsofor, Sonne Aluko and Ahmed Musa.

In 2014 for whatsoever reason he went to the middle-east.

Rio, Siasia gave him another opportunity and also us another opportunity to re-assess his readiness for the Super Eagles.

Anthony Ujah, there was no way he could break into the Super Eagles as at that 2011 when he came to limelight.
He was instead invited to the U23 Camp along with Ighalo, Lukman, Oduamadi, Igiebor, Raheem, Oseni and co. He didn't really do so well.

He was left out to develop and got a couple of invitations during Keshi and Oliseh's reign but he didn't really meet our expectations. He was not the type of striker we were looking for.

So wetin come bring chop-chop for this one.

Before u were shouting nepotism. Now ur slogan is fraud and chop-chop. Lets discuss the football and put aside all unfounded insinuations pls.

Bros, Eziekel was never called when he was doing better than those invited.

2011 was the year he went on trial and was signed. I think his club didn't allow him because he had to settle down. No bi em fault. We saw many players did that ....

Eziekel was snubbed for two good seasons despiye performing well. 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 was the year he scored double digit goals but....... grin

My take is the young man is doing great at the moment. But let him continue doing great by also moving to a more competitive league and then we re-assess him.

Onyekuru is young and he will surely get his turn of call up in our subsequent games if he continues doing well.
Ezekiel Imoh and Ujah were snubbed by chop chop coaches.

It has nothing to do with their talents.

When they saw Nigerian coaches no like them, they decided to follow money.

Does the Imoh Ezekiel u saw at Rio look like a player that can command a place in the current Super Eagles forwards line?
Imoh Ezekiel initially snubbed Nigeria by refusing to play with the 2011 Flying Eagles.

Nobody is saying Onyekuru is not good but he is a surplus requirement to the position he would play for the Super Eagles for now. The wings are where we have the most abundance of quality players. For Musa and Simon not to be in first 11, that tells the story. Aluko is not even invited. Rohr may have picked Success ahead of Aluko and Onyekuru. Success cannot even be a starter yet.

Onyekuru is still young. His time will come IF he continues to improve.
Of course, Imoh Ezekiel I saw was better than Iwobi, Simon Moses and Isaac Success on the wing. Habi, you know see am? grin
