I thought it's illegal to make subject someone to take HIV test without the person's express permission? A prospective candidate can sue a prospective employer if the candidate finds out that he was made to undergo HIV test and was not employed by the company. Lawyers in the house. Can y'all confirm this? |
I don't know what more to do about this nation. I am absolutely helpless. Nigeria is perhaps the only nation in the world that knows the solution to their problems but they will never act to alleviate such problems. they would rather continue suffering. Everyone knows that corruption is the biggest threat to our existence as a nation.Everyone knows that before we can make progress in our well being as a nation, we need to fight corruption. Everyone knows that we were given the opportunity to elect an honest leader who will trigger the war on corruption. Everyone know that Buhari was an honest man (although he may have his faults). Everyone knows these for facts. Yet they opted to elect as their leader someone who will keep farting on their heads 2-4-7 and will keep calling it fresh air. NO ONE SHOULD EXPECT ANY GAINS ON THE WAR AGAINST CORRUPTION UNDER GEJ'S REGIME. |
Abeg dis OP be JJC? @ OP, you just dey enter naija? Wey you dey hala on top very normal runs. |
all4naija: slowpoke. Stark raving m.o.r.o.n suffering from Parkinson is trying to act smart. Deport me from my mother's land? Nigeria is my father's land and there is nothing wrong about that other than you stupid nitwit with a brain as small as that of a mosquito. Go get yourself a cyanide because you are a disgrace to humanity.Which your mother's land? God go punish you for that statement. After your papa (wey dey eat senators nyash for abuja) and those bast.ard senators don run naija down you con dey claim say UK na your motherland. You pack your load run go UK. Con dey preach say naija democracy na the best in the world. UK authorities ought to single you out and deport you alone. na dead body you go wash tire for that Uk wey you dey so. You never jam. We dey naija dey hustle life jeje, we dey rough the life dey hope say e go better. we con dey shout say our politicians no rule us well. You dey tell us say make we like them by force. Na God go punish you! |
chiezimah: What is the difference between the worst democracy and a military rule. I wonder where people get such slang r whatever it is called. A bad government is a bad govt. Whether military or otherwise and a bad govt should be removed. If nt by votng them out (which is almost impossible as they keep out-rigging the opposition), then the barrel of the gun is the only option left.God bless you maguy for this. You sound like a real nigerian who understands that corrupt, clueless and wicked government only impoverish nigerians. And some i.diot 9all4naija) just because he's lucky not to have been deported from UK comes here telling us to embrace the kind of democracy being practised in naija. Meanwhile i even have thousands of issues with naija's democracy. One the idio.ts that drafted the 1999 constitution just copied the presidential system of democracy from the west and imposed it on us verbatim. Those guys no use dem heads at all. They ought to have modified it to suit the nigerian situation. For example we do not need to have 2 Houses. One house either the senate or house of reps is enough. Afterall how many hours in the year do they have any meaningful sittings? How many useful and relevant acts have they passed to law in thirteen years? Second, they should have pegged their salaries and allowances to less than 5% of our annual national budget as against the current 25% they enjoy. Occupiers of positions in authority should be their to serve. Naija is the only country in the world where occupiers of public office are turned instant multi millionaires and feed fat on the nation. |
on point my man.During Marwa's regime, there were no area boys or miscreants on the streets of Lagos.He. Rehabilitated them through skill acquisition and kept them of the streets.Agberos were non existent and security was guaranteed. It was Fashola's godfather,Tinubu, that unleashed those nuisance on us on assumption of office. He and Fashola is now their grand patron as they use the scoundrels as foot soldiers during elections and annihilation of perceived enemies.Till now Fashola has not addressed the issue of gang war that has ravaged Lagos Island,Oshodi,Mushin,Fadeyi, and reecently,Lawanson, which has cost the lives of close to 20people.
Abeg tell that bast.ard all4naija id.iot o. Its now so bad in lagos that if you even go and buy something conspicuous in any market on the island, or if you are driving your new or tokunbo ride without number plates home jeje the way those murraforkers go tax you ehn? One will wonder since when it became a crime for someone to buy something. |
all4naija: I intended not to attend to any of your comments but your lack of knowledge is patronizing. Can you see the reason why I would keep embarrassing you? Your assumption is very wrong. It is as obtuse as your makeup. What do you know about me? Nothing! I am not here to start telling you about my life, dude!I.diot. You are not embarrassing me in any way, you are only embarrassing yourself. You are not based in naija and you are asking us nigerians that are fully resident in naija to embrace naija's bogus democracy. Do you see what we see? Do you feel what we feel? My prayer is that you be deported from wherever you are back to naija. If you are still alive after 4 years, then i may start thinking about embracing our darling democracy |
mufc009: I cant find it hard to believe somebody is supporting the type of democracy in nigeria.Dont mind that bas.tard all4naija abi na wetin be im name. Ridiculously enough, he is not based in naija. And he is forming patriotic naija citizen on nairaland. Asking all of us to embrace naija's perverted form of democracy. |
@ all4naija abi na wetin be your username. Please change your name to all4UK or all4yankee or wherever you dey. Besides, if you really enjoy democracy as it is being practised in naija, and if you really love naija that much why not pack your bags and return to naija whether no be suffer go kill you finish. And you come on NL asking peiople to embrace naija's pseudo-democracy? |
all4naija: Indeed, I was not referring to you, sir! Just on about some point. Mohammed Buba Marwa is not even close to Fashola when it comes to development. I think most Lagosians can point to that. Jeez! You can state a name and expect me to agree on the ground you think I'm outside of the country. That's some excuse some Nigerians or individuals are using to assert their erred arguments in this forum.OK. So you know much more and feel much more strongly about naija than i do given the fact that you are resident outside naija and i am fully resident in naija? FYI, fashola since assuming office has gone on an agressive tax regime. I know this for a fact given how much gets deducted from my salary as tax. No be beans. That was not the same with Marwa. So, fashola has much more funds to pull off stunts in lagos than Marwa but even at that, Marwa's regime was far better of than most civillian regimes we have had in lagos. |
all4naija: Has any military leader done better than Fashola in Lagos state? There are many testament to reasons why democratically elected leaders can be more manageable than dictators(military)We do not have a common ground on which we can relate so any further discussion on the above subject will not only be pointless, it will also be futile. You reside outside naija and i reside in naija. Fully. But to answer your question, Buba marwa |
kulutempa: My conclusion after reading all the posts above is that Nigerians are suckers and have very short memories. For those clamoring for military rule I will ask you one question and I hope you can give a honest answer.FYI, we have not had more than 30 years of military rule in naija. We have had 29 and 23 years of civillian regime. I ask you cummulatively, is there any difference between both types of government? My answer is no. So, the answer to our problems in naija is not the type of regime, but the kind of leaders we have always had since independence. |
all4naija: *shaking my head*You see. You are not resident in naija and you dare come here to tell me how i should feel given the level of moral decadence displayed by our rulers? I guess you are in europe or yankee where you have good roads, steady power supply 2-4-7, world class health care, adequate security of your life and property and I am here in naija where i enjoy none of these things solely because our rulers (rogues) in abuja are busy milking the nation dry and are so clueless that they dont even know why they are in abuja in the first place and not because naija is such a poor country. And you expect both of us to be on the same page? You expect both of us to feel the same way about corruption in naija? are you sane at all? |
faithin9ja: @Fork AddictI agree absolutely with the emboldened. However people revolution can never and will never happen in nigeria because of the heterogenous composition of our country. Imagine if people want to revolt because of Jonathan's misrule (which i feel is long overdue tho, do you really think niger deltans will support the revolution? The answer is no and if by chance the revolution goes on as planned and succeeds then MEND will start terrorising the nation and that will only mean chaos. samething with a revolution when the sitting president is from the north or south west. The region from which the sitting president hails will not support the revolution. hence, ther can never be a people revolution in nigeria. So if i ask you, how can we ensure that those rogues governing us in abuja are honest, disciplined, transparent and sensitive to the plight of nigerians? How? The only way is to criminalise any kind of corrupt act in such a way as to instill fear in them not to be corrupt. Check out singapore and a few other nations in asia. Those government officials will see public funds and will be scared to misappropriate it. Why? Cos they know that once they are caught and tried and are convicted, then they will pay with their heads. Tell me how can we put such a system in place in naija? |
all4naija: Zap off ignorant face!Hey just before i fork off (I no sabi who dey teach the bas.tard english) let me ask you this question and i need you to respond truthfully and may God be your witness. I beg of you, do not lie. ARE YOU FULLY RESIDENT IN NAIJA? |
all4naija: Another misinformed and clueless individual pointing finger at me. It is a shame you conclude on things based on your failing assumptions. Another ignorant Nigerian like you!I can see why you feel you are the only informed and clueful goat on Nairaland. Like i said earlier, i know you survive only because your father eats a senator's asssss in abuja. So to you democracy must stay irrespective of the ills it brings to us as nigerians. All i am asking for goat, is a responsible government. a government that will provide us with basic amenities, a government that will be honest, responsible, transparent and disciplined. A government that will be sensitive to the yearnings of the common man. That is the government i canvass for here. I dont bloody care whether it's oligarchy, monarchy or dictatorship. But thus far, the pseudo democracy you currently practise in naija hasn't even met one just one of my requirements for good governance. so again i say to you, FORK YOU AND FORK NAIJA'S VERSION OF DEMOCRACY. |
all4naija: ^^^Hell No! You go educate yourself on what life is all about. All you direct beneficiaries of corruption in our government are so easy to spot. Cos your father is sucking a senator's assss in abuja and getting paid and he in turn hands down some change to you does not mean i will support the kind of crappy democracy we have in naija. The kind of democracy we have in naija is too expensive to run, too corrupt to sustain and too wicked for the common man. I just might overlook all these ills, if they our rulers provided us with steady power, good roads, gooed education, good health care, secure our lives and property etc. Reality check reveals we are a long long way from enjoying all these. Yet each senator earns about N27million plus quarterly. Multiply that by 109 senators and four hundred and something legislators. That is what they earn for doing NOTHING. The only thing they do is to chase after UniAbuja chics and you dare come here to tell me about democracy. Well i got something for you. FORK YOU AND FORK NAIJA'S VERSION OF DEMOCRACY. |
faithin9ja: @BeekeYou talk about how much the presidency spends on a meal. And since it came to your knowledge, what have you been able to do about it? Has 1 kobo been removed from the budget for each meal? So what difference does your knowing about this depressing fact make to the presidency? Mind you, i am not canvassing for an Abacha kind of military government or IBB. Those are disasters. I would rather have a responsible military government. A government that will fight against corruption, try, jail and execute all those rougues in agbada in abuja, strengthen our anti-corruption agencies, and instill dicipline into the subconcious of nigerians and then when all this is done, hand over power to an elected government after conducting a free, fair and credible elction. Out of all the coups we have had in naija, only Buhari-Idiagbon regime came close to the kind of military government i am talking about here. |
Arouser: Let me put it to you this way Mr. Retarded, The worst form of democracy is better than the best millitary regime. It seems your dad is in the army and is thinking of messing up with Naija's democracy. Well i doubt if hi shitty brains can carry him that far. slowpoke!I see. 'The worst form of democracy is better than the best military regime.' How will that not be so, when your father and mother are in abuja milking naija dry and you are enjoying the loot. How will you not make such idi.otic comment?Bloody parasitic child and parasitic parents. Surviving on naija. No wonder you lot are so scared of naija having an honest leader who will try you all and have you jailed or executed cos of your corrupt practices. Barrawo banza! |
Arouser: Every word written above smells of naivity and ignorance.I'm very sure your chicken brains cannot understand the carnge backwardness a coup can cause. But your forking fish brain understands the forwardness of having a corrupt, clueless, and wicked democracy? ID.iot that just copies things from the west just because it worked for them. |
Arouser: So you are supporting a coup? It is obvious you lack life experience and good judgement. Ewu!First of, you are a bas.tard for calling me ewu. My crime? Just because i expressed my opinion on a topic. Second, the only guarantee against a coup is if the so called politicians or democratically elected government rule their citizens honestly, justly and with sympathy for their plight ALWAYS. If any civilian government doesnt do that, then i will gladly support a coup that will seize power, try their bas.tard assses and jail or execute them, conduct free, fair and credible elections, hand over power to the elected government ASAP and while they are in power, let them rule honestly, justly and with a positive sense of direction. So my point in summary Mr. I.diot, is that I am a sucker for good governance anywhere on the forking planet. I dont give a fork if it is oligarchy, monarchy, dictatorship or democracy. I dont give a fork. So long as majority of your citizens are happy with their rulers! |
talknafree: Is it not the same use-less president that went to marry a lady young enough to be his grand daughter and paying N21million (equivalent) for pride price. You couldnt have said it better. They feel because the world is against dictatorship, they can continue to loot their country's treasuries and continue to act corruptly and irresponsibly and cluelessly. Na God go punish the bas.tards |

who is a soldier-man, his job is to guard the nation and her citizens not terrorize them. Soldiers are not rulers. People revolution not military coup. if the soldiers want they can join us BUT never rule us.
