Lexusgs430:So because 50% of your friends use iphones, that automatically translates to most nigerians actually use iphones ? for starters, how much does an iphone sell for? And you think most nigerians can afford it You are ridiculous.rman:On the emboldened. I cant agree more with you. In my opinion, i thinks its a very close call between Chinko and Nokia and it all boils down to affordability. You will see a chinco phone with dual sim, mp4 player, internet browser and some other crazy effizy selling for say 12k. what then does anyone expect? Nokia on the other hand has got affordable phones with 4k you can actually own a nokia fone. LMAO at the guy that said iphones are the most commonly used fones in naija? SMH at such an utterance |
My own (first on my list) na MTN! and i say that again MTN! Next is NEPA!!!!! and then any other government agency, particularly the Police. |
@ All. Only the supreme court has the power to declare anyone president from election petitions and not the appeal court. In this light, i feel CPC should just shut the fork up. There is absolutely no sense in their allegations. By the way, i have never liked GEJ and from the way he is going, i dont think i ever will. Also note that i voted for Buhari in the last elections and i really wish to heaven that he won. We really need to fight corruption genuinely and i feel he is the best candidate for that. Even if Salami wasnt suspended, do they think he's got the power to declare Buhari as president elect? I dey laff. @ Beaf. From your posts, you strike me as a strong willed person who will sticks to his beliefs not giving a fork about what the world thinks. That is ok. Besides, you are free to express your opinion on any issue anywhere which is what you are doing. I also do not have a problem with that. However, i have a problem with when you choose to lick someone's asssssssss not minding what may be at stake which is what you have always done with GEJ on this forum. If you are too proud to admit GEJ goofed on issues, then just shut the fork up instead of trying to defend nonsense. That way you may earn some respect on here. But right now, you aint even worth my feaces. You disgust me to hell. How do you attempt to defend a situation where 9 people out of 24 members sat and recommended that salami be suspended? How do you attempt to defend GEJ's action of approving such an illegal verdict? If 9 people out of 24 could perpetrate this disgusting and ridiculous act, and have Jonathan's backing, what then stops 3 or 4 people out of 24 from doing something similar in the future so long as they have GEJ's backing? I could go on and on but i dont feel you are worth an extra second of my time. Like i said earlier, you aint worth my feaces. So do have yourself a miserable day wherever you are! |
Gbawe:As much as i disagree with that thing called beaf and really wish i could hand him over to some MOPOL to beat some sense into his thick, dim skull, i would urge you too to get your facts right. What happened in Ogun was that a few lawmakers sat and impeached the speaker and the deputy and not that a few lawmakers sat and impeached the majority like you have been stating all along. |
slex:Why you wan meet am? You sef wan feed am breakfast for bed abi? You wan snuggle with the OP inside bed abi? Wetin dey dat Ukraine sef wey be say the guys and the chics just kolo anyhow? |
markpeace: You never jam. Dem suppose increase the daily access fee to N200. shey you talk say you no dey hear word. So wetin you want make i do now? Make i help you beg them say make dem no charge you again? Abeg, pack yoursef commot from my front jor! |
@ deniyor. The mentor. The counsellor. The Peace broker. The all in all. Oga well done o. I bow o. @ OP. I will not, repeat, i will not mince words in telling you just what the fork i feel about you and your posts. Men, reading thru your posts (every one of them) has done nothing but make me sick to my stomach. Gosh! what the fork is wrong with you? Grow up man. The chic is done with you so you really need to move the fork on. Do you know why you feel this way? Its your low self esteem. You dont have enough confidence in yourself to go out ther, scout for and hunt down another chic that has all the qualities (and even better) than you ex. You are like, 'Oh God! where do i start from?' The whole of your brain (if i can call it that) has been programmed to think that no other girl can be like your ex. If this is what you think, then guy, you really need help. Jeeeeez!!!!!! By the way, i must add that you got gay tendencies. Your username sounds feminine, all your posts depict you as some guy with very feminine qualities, a cry baby, a cissy. you really need to check yourself. Now IMO, you have to options to get over this. 1) Time: Time is the ultimate healer of all wounds. So, if you continue to live your life normally or even in this pathetic mode you have chosen (self and public pity), with time, you'll get over it. It may take years but in the end, you'll get over it. OR 2) Up your game. Go out and start mingling with chics. Start meeting and getting chics' numbers. Have many of them as friends. call them up regularly and establish some form of connection with them. This is allowed and it aint womanizing at all. From the many friends you have, start narrowing down your search to that one girl that will meet or even surpass this girl's standards. Watch out for the 2 way chemistry before you start letting your emotions come into play. Otherwise you just might have to go thru all what you are going thru now one more time. And men i doubt if that will not kill you. If you are lucky enough to meet this one person, then you will start thinking less of this ex of yours and with time, she'll just fade into your memory's background. I wish you all the very best. PEACE. |
rman:(1) Etisalat has another package different from homezone which will enable me to call any network @ 20k per second from the very first second. I only elected not to subscribe to that. I'm very much ok with my homezone package. Believe it or not. (2) Haba Oga! Are you kidding me? You are telling me that if i pick up my fone and call a random MTN number with my MTN line, i get billed @ N12 per minute? And N15 per minute from the first minute if i call any other networtk? If so, why the hell do you think people are antagonising your mean network here? Please respond to this very categorically. (3) Now compare MTN's revenues on voice calls within the same period with those of your competitors, i tell you that contrary to MTN's fortune which is declining, theirs is appreciating. This only reveals that MTN's dooms day is drawing closer. It may take a long time but its drawing closer. You may be content by the fact that you guys are reaping massive returns from other sources, i dare tell you that like the revenue from voice calls, this will also be shortlived. No business dies suddenly. Deaths of enterprises are usually slow and steady. Its one thing for revenues not to grow for many years but for revenues to decline? That is a dangerous indicator. I have just one word of advice for you. Pray so hard that the number portability stuff doesnt sail thru. If it does, my guy, yall are doomed. Cheers to you too my friend. |
rman:You didnt say so explicitly but it could be inferred. So what have you got to say about the price comparison of etisalat and MTn's network that i did? and also what does the analysis on MTN's revenue reveal. please dont avoid this question. You also need to be truthful in your verdict. You shouldnt come here to tell us some bullsheet about classified info. |
rman:OK. I have both etisalat (a very active line) and MTN (a very dormant line). On my etisalat home zone package, its 20k per second to any network. Get that rman? So its actually cheaper for me to call any random mtn line using my etisalat line than for me to call the same random mtn line using my mtn line. How does that sound? Look, like i said earlier, any promo by MTN short of 10kobo per second to any network, I am not interested. So please i tell you to your face, kindly keep your promo to yourself. I do not need it. When i used to call on my MTN line, it used to cost me about N35 per minute (peak period) to call an mtn line (3 times the etisalat tariff) and N25 to call an mtn line during the off peak period. From your post, i think you are one big oga (servant) at MTN. so what conclusion can you draw from the revenues accruing to you guys in the first half of yr 2011, 2010 and 2009? |
rman: Ok so because the per second billing happened years ago, its not worthy of mention right? so in your opinion, lets cover it up? At the emboldened, i am not at all surprised. Such statements are very typical of your boss MTN. So for you, (MTN's servant) to utter such also isnt the least surprising. Imagine telling your customers to go to hell. That you'll survive without them. SMH. Like boss like servant. |
rman:Is this guy kidding me? Ok. you want me to compare MTN tariffs with those of other operators in the industry? Kindly confirm if this is what you want me to do. I really need you to get back to me on this. Also, what about your (MTN) revenue breakdown assignment? have you done that? |
ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!! As in literally. Jeeeeeez!!!!!!! Infact, all man for work dey look me like say i don craze. @ OP. Abeg make i go laff well well first. When i laff finish, i go come back. Me wit you go come yarn. |
V Umoren:This poster must be a forking joker. Are you alright at all? You see say all man dey rake dey tear for MTN say make we no dey use dem line call again. You carry your head come dey ask us make we teach you how you go dey use their line call. Will you get out of here before i open my eyes. Dont you know their forking "customare care" number? |
edicolove: That is the spirit maguy. We preach against them until they pack out. Those guys do not deserve one naira of my money anymore. I pray NCC approves this number portability stuff men. |
blank:Omo. If that happens, i will personally foot the bill of MTN's funeral. All forking expenses paid. But then those guys at NCC are our biggest hurdle. With the present leadership, I will be surprised if those guys approve it. Maybe if there is a change of leadership and a honest man like sanusi or Buhari is installed, we might stand a chance. |
edicolove:Make una no dey use MTN line call. It doesnt matter where you got the line. DO NOT MAKE CALLS WITH AN MTN LINE. SIMPLE. THIS IS THE GOSPEL WE PREACH. |
rman:(1)Wetin dis guy dey yarn sef? In whose community is MTN foundation doing a lot? Are you sure you are resident in naija? (2) Yeah right. we have all made up our minds not to see the positives. The same way we do not see any positives in Glo, airtel and Etisalat. Blooooooody joker! |
rman:Many business enterprises go all out to reduce operating costs only when revenues are dwindling. Etisalat and Airtel had already conceded on their gross margin by slashing their prices. Only a foolish company will slash their revenues and also continue to bear huge overhead costs. What they did is only normal otherwise they would be dead in a matter of weeks. MTN should be different cos they are not reducing their tariffs which means that they are quite comfortable with their revenues which is a gain. next they further slash salaries (or convert permanent staff jobs to contract basis) which is also a gai. So for Airtel, Glo and etisalat, its a win-lose situation. But for MTN, its a win-win. Maximum returns possible from all angles. Nothing for customers, nothing for staffers. Greedy things. |
rman:Permit me to say that you are only trying to sound objective but you aint making a good job of it. This i will prove to you with the following points: (1) Our major beef against MTn is their greed and unthinkable apathy towards their customers. Granted, they have invested massively in infrastructure. but are you trying to tell us that since all these years of investing, they havent broken even? If not, when do you think they will eventually break even so as to join in the price war? Please bear in mind that they have been in the country the longest. If they havent broken even by now, who else will? PER SECOND BILLING SAGA: If you have followed MTN thru the years, you dont have to be a genius to understand that they are capitalists to the core. Not that there is anything wrong in being a capitalist, but when you go to any length (even playing on your cutomers' intelligence and lieing to them) all in the name of making the maximum profit possible then that aint capitalism. That is fraud. It is Robberry. it is Extortion and it is immoral. MTN said that Per second billing saga wasnt possible. Glo came and proved them wrong. MTN had to switch to the per second billing cos they realised that if they maintained their evil per minute billing plan, they would be out of business in days. So they most reluctantly switched to the per second plan. Not that they didnt know the per second billing was possible all along, they just prefferred the per minute plan which was suffocating nigerians financially and giving them the maximum possible returns. Now, other networks are slashing prices but they refuse to. You know why? ill tell you: No doubt, MTN has the highest number of subscribers in Nigeria. Like many people have mentioned here, they have multiple SIMs and out of these multiple sims, they have MTN even though they do not make calls with their MTN sims but they still receive calls on them. This is where the problem lies. It aint enough for us to just stop making calls with your MTN sims we need to also stop receiving calls on them too. For as long as we continue to receive calls from other networks on MTN lines, MTN will be fine. Cos they got a massive subscriber base and funds will always accrue to them via the interconnectivity bullsheet. My people, if we really want to snuff life out of these monsters called MTN, we need to stop receiving calls on their lines. If yall know anyone with multiple lines and you want to call them, always try to reach them on other lines first as a matter of priority. If all their alternate lines fail to go thru, only then should we call them on their MTN lines. If we can sustain this practice for only a few months, i dare say that MTN will either slash call tarriffs or they will be history. I guess you are a staff of MTN. Let me give you an assignment. Go to your GROUP FINANCIAL ANALYST (or someone who holds a position which is closely related) and ask him to break down your total revenue for the first 6 months in 2011, 2010 and 2009 into 2 categories. Inbound revenue (that is revenues that accrue due to calls coming in from other networks) and outbound revenue (that is revenues that accrue due to calls originating from MTN to other networks). You will observe that for 2011, the inbound revenue will far outweigh the outbound revenue. Imagine what will happen if people stop receiving calls on their MTN lines. My people. I apologise for this extremely long post. Na as the matter dey pain me i dey take yarn. make una no vex |
I am about MTN's most bitter customer alive. For a very long time (about 7 straight years), I was nothing but a maga to those a$$holes. They nearly sucked life out of me. Because as a runsman, i need to make calls a lot and i wasnt really comfortable with going about with 2 fones cos ive always had a Nokia that i wasnt ready to drop. Also I wasnt willing to keep swaping sims on the same fone, so i was stuck with the beaches. Kai. Dem just dey slap me dey go. When they nearly killed me with tariffs, i had to shout at the top of my voice. 'ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. WETIN SEF?' I had to run to ETISALAT (the people's network) and they gave me succor. So Right now, any promo by MTN short of 10kobo per second tariff to any network, I AM NOT INTERESTED. GOD PUNISH DEM! WITH ETISALAT I STAND. TILL DEATH DO US PART. |

It doesnt matter how much potentials you got as a guy, it doesnt matter how much you love her, it doesnt matter how bright the future is for you, ALL THAT MATTERS TO HER IS CASH! SMH |
^^^^ something like? |
^^^^ As in? |
For me, i hate hustling for chics when i could divert the energy, time and resources in doing so to other ends. If i were a chic with the same sex drive as i have now, i wont have to hustle for guys. I go just siddon jeje and deaks go dey hustle for me. That is the real joy of womanhood if you ask me. |
Oloun dis OP is crazy and deserves to be locked up in a mental home for the rest of his miserable godforsaken life. If you can date an 8 yr old, what then stops you from dating a two year old or even a one year old? Or do you think theres any difference within these age groups? Just dey thank your stars say no be sharia country we dey and say we no get evidence against you. Otherwise i for personally volunteer to head the team wey go hunt you down. You dey craze. Can you imagine some i.dio.t somewhere doing the same thing to your 2 yr old sister or daughter? You dey craze |
