Thanks for the info. I have a coy that I deal with for all my imports by air. They are at www.intexlog.com I even get 30days credit from them for my cargo. Generally shipments from the US are 5 USD per kilo delivered. I have tried some others from time to time and found that a lot of people promise more than they can deliver.

@damola1
Bros, when you look at a glass of water with the water at the half way mark, what do you actually see, Half full or half empty!! I am sorry but you know what they say, takes one to know one.

Your suspicions are founded on the premise that all this is an elaborate scam. Again I say, takes one to know one

You obviously scanned through my auction but did you miss the fact that I also advertised the car in the newspapers?? And the motive for an auction is to raise the most money in the shortest possible time. Moses made a bid after seeing the advert in the Punch, (if you send me an email I i wlll scan the advert to you (oekanu@yahoo.com)). He won because he offered the most money and paid promptly.

My motive for starting this thread is to give people who are genuinely interested in buying cars from the states the opportunity in dealing with someone who has proved himself. I am aware of the risks involved but as they say nothing ventured, nothing gained. I flew to Abuja from Lagos when Jenju was around to meet with him personally. I have observed his methods and posted UPDATES here.

My conclusion (even before I have seen the car) is that he is an above board individual, not a car dealer trying to make a fast buck but a business man with integrity whose word is his bond. IN my dealings with him, we never exchanged a single signature. A handshake was enough!!!

I dare say that I am marketing him to my friends now and am going through this now with you because if you are for real, then you will know real when you see it.

Free your mind and try to know person. If you close your eye because you no wan see bad thing, then good thing go come and you go miss am!!! wink

@Jenju
God pass them!!! grin

Remember nkc, I have a top of the line passat TDI Sport (chipped ECU) with 6 forward speed gearbox and know all the things that might be thrilling you. But you, on the other hand, can only imagine what my pathy is all about.

UPDATE:

Jenju has taken my Pathy to the docks. After some negotiations, we agreed that my clearing agent will clear the car when it comes in. This saves me about 50K and since i have been working with agents for quite some time, I am comfortable with this arrangement. This meant that Jenju had to change the name on the bill of Lading for the Pathy to my name.

So far, every step that Jenju has taken has demonstrated an "above board" approach. The car is expected to leave in about a week's time with an expected date of arrival within the second week of May. It is coming along with nkc's passat and some other cars too.

More updates soon

AutosRe: 2001 Passat AWD 4motion 2.8L; N1.55million Only by fotodaddy: 5:25pm On Apr 09, 2008
Well nkc, there's no problem that size fitting (225/60 in 16 rims). Thats the size I changed mine to. I bought a new set of alloys and fitted that size in CHAMPIRO (GT RADIAL) brand (about 16k per tyre 3 years ago). There's no problem that size fitting so enjoy.

I also got some chrome handles and a chrome antenna. Changed the audio system from the standard to a 10cd changer Sony system. Got a turbo gauge on my a-pillar (my car is a 1.9 Turbo Diesel) and a chip for extreme diesel performance in the ECU from Upsolute.

Also I have VAGCOM which help with diagnostics and changing some of the comfort settings of the convenience controller and the Bentley manual.

Too complicated with the VWs. They have to be integrated into the central computer, and the cabling is different. Sorry cant eat your cake and, But you can think of an aftermarket kit. Usually for about 800usd!
AutosRe: 2001 Passat AWD 4motion 2.8L; N1.55million Only by fotodaddy: 4:57pm On Apr 08, 2008
@nkc,
This model does not have the HID like mine grin. You will always know the difference cos the passats with HID have their head lights appearing like there are 3 lamps in the unit, with the blinker in-between the HID and the high beam lamp. Yours has only 2 with the blinker by the side.

Dont mind those japanese lovers. There is absolutely no one who will drive a german car, even a VW, that will not know the difference. And then the dawning shocked::: OH THIS ACURA I HAVE IS REALLY NICE, BUT I JUST GOT TO KNOW THIS BMW, MERC or VW AND THIS IS NICER!

P-L-E-A-S-E! Ensure u read this to the end.

Thank you.

Hi, , Trust the factshuhhuh

This is a real story of a young exUnilag girl who
passed away last
month. Her name was Lola.

She was hit by a train at Oyingbo on her way to
work at Apapa.

She was working at the MTN call center. She had a
boy friend named
Emeka, a banker who was recently transfered to
Abuja. Both of them are
true lovers even distance could not separate them.

They were always talking on the phone. You could
never see her without
her Cellphone.

In fact she also changed Emeka's SIM from Celtel to
MTN, so both of
them can be on the same network, and save on the
cost of calls.

She spends half of the day and most nights talking
with Emeka because
she gets free calls.

Lola's family knows about their relationship.

Emeka is very close with Lola's family in spite of
the tribal
differences. (just imagine their love).

Before she passed away at LUTH she told her friends
"If I pass away
please bury me with my Cellphone" she also said the
same thing to her
parents.

After her death at LUTH, the attendants couldn't
carry her body to the
mortuary.

A lot of them tried to do so but still couldn't.

They called more people and everybody tried to
carry the body, the
result was still the same. Eventually, they called
a person who knew
one of her priests in church who had the gift of
communicating with the
dead.

He sprinkled some salt and water on the body and
started speaking to
himself slowly. After a few minutes, he said "this
girl misses
something here."

Then her friends told him about her intentions to
bury her with her
phone.

He asked them to bring a coffin, then he opened it
and placed her phone
and sim card inside

the casket. After that they tried to carry the body.
It could now be
moved and they carried it away easily.

Everyone was shocked and sad, they were so shocked
that Lola's parents
did not inform Emeka that Lola had passed away and
buried her quickly
because of all the unusual circumstances.

After 2 weeks Emeka called Lola's mom,

Emeka :, "Aunty, I'm coming to the house today, it
is Lola's birthday
please I hope you will cook something nice for me.

Don't tell Lola that I'm coming to Lagos today, I
want to surprise her."

Her mother replied, "OK You come to Lagos first,
I want to tell you
something very important."

After he came, they told him the truth about Lola.
Emeka though that
they were playing an April fool's joke. He was
laughing and said "don't
try to fool me - tell Lola to come out, i have a
Birthday gift

for her. Please stop this nonsense".

Then they showed the original death certificate to
him. They also gave
him other proof to make him believe. (Emeka started
to sweat) He
said, "Its not true. We spoke yesterday. She still
calls me.

Emeka was shaking.

Suddenly, Emeka's phone rang. "he said, see this is
from Lola, see
this, " he showed the phone to Lola's family. all
of them told him to
answer. he talked using the loudspeaker mode.

All of them heard his conversation. Loud and clear,
no cross lines, no
humming. It was the

actual voice of Lola & there was no way others could
use her staff sim
card since it is nailed inside the casket before she
was hurriedly
buried.

They were so shocked and asked for the same priest
(who can speak with
the souls of the dead) again. This time he brought
his Bishop along to help solve this matter.

He & his Bishop worked for 5 hours.

Then they discovered one thing which really shocked
them,

Scroll down,

MTN still has the best coverage!

"MTN Everywhere you go" is true!! Where ever you go,
MTN follows!!!

Don't shoot me yet, I am also looking for the person
who sent me this mail, so I can box him/her too!!!
Can you imagine. Shio.! I can't believe I actually read
this to the end!!!!!!
