God is not dead and does not need your help to defend himself. God has said before that Sprititual things cannot be understood with a carnal mind. Why then do you think you can get a carnal mind to understabd spiritual things by sound logical arguments. Are you God?? Or is God lying when he said that. if you really want an answer to this question, say a short prayer to God and ask him to prove Himself to you in a way you can understand.

What does the Bible say: I quote Jesus: "What ever you ask the Father in My name, ". This is why we pray in the Name of Jesus. Prior to Jesus's resurrection prayers where generally made through prophets and priests. And people did not have access to God except through them Now as christians, we have already gone through him (accepted his sacrifice) and are in Gods presence. We do not need to pray through Him anymore(since during the second birth we went through Him already) but only in his name (as our position has already been established by Him)

Simple logic: Legally things are established by people. And done in their name not thought their name. "I come in the name of Ceasar" is a typical example. Means we have exactly the same authority as Ceasar in that situation ie we are running his errands.
