I am dropping my own birth story. Team December Delivered 16/12/2021 A tall slim baby girl�(3.5kg) I got married February 2018(trad/court) hubby went back to base after that, i was staying alone, in October 2019 we did white wedding and after that i saw my period for November not knowing it was not a normal period, the blood refused to stop i kept spotting for over 3weeks and by then hubby was already preparing to go back to his base and i needed to follow him to Lagos where he will board from, we went to hospital and i complained of the spotting the Dr. Was not taking it serious. when i came back from Lagos the spotting continued, i did pregnancy test with strip and it was Negative, later i also went to ABJ for an official meeting when i came back the spotting became serious by then we are already in the middle of December, so i have to ask around of a good hospital i can use because we just relocated after wedding, someone directed me to Salvation Hospital & maternity Owerri, when i got there they check my hormones, did blood pregnancy test which came out positive, i was sent for scan but after the scan no heart beat i was sent for evacuation that was on 31st December 2019. OH i entered 2020 with so much pains, regrets, sorrow but i didn't give up, it was also discovered there was fibroid of 2.2cm on the surface of the womb, though Dr assured me is not the cause of the miscarriage that is insignificant, he encouraged me to go and keep trying and and also allow my self to heal well. I went back home but wasn't trying as hubby wasn't around and covid changed all his plans on coming back. The Dr kept checking the fibroid each time i come for check up it was same size then around April 2020 they stopped seeing the fibroid in my scan, which Dr concluded it was pregnancy hormones that made it grew at that first time, so i continued my normal life/work. Hubby later came back January 2021, and we started trying again, January nothing, February nothing March nothing, i went back to the hospital my Dr said am too young to be giving myself such headache, he encouraged me to put my mind at rest as my hormones are balanced that pregnancy will come. He gave me Vit E and Vit C 1000mg each, i went home took it for the whole of March. I was expecting my period on 4th April (easter Sunday) on that morning of easter i couldn't sleep all through night, was having hrt burn which i Later took water melon and it stopped, then menstrual cramps started serious one, i was even crying all through the night i kept checking to know when blood will start coming out but nothing, instead i was spotting, i couldn't even go to church or cook on that easter Sunday because of the cramps, later that Sunday i did pregnancy test with strip and it was negative, on easter Monday no period yet though the cramps reduced, on Tuesday no period, Wednesday no period but then i was already sick like i have malaria, on Thursday i went back to the hospital and they did blood test and it came out positive, Chai i and hubby were so happy. AT 6weeks morning sicknesses started, vomiting started, the pregnancy showed me pepper, thank God where i work i have my own time, i can go to work at any time without someone questioning me, the morning sickness/vomiting was so severe sometimes i go to the hospital to take drip. I don't eat anything, i don't sleep, my bones were so weak, some days i will cry all through asking God thought this pregnancy was supposed to bring joy/happiness to me why did he allow me to be suffering this way  Hubby canceled all his traveling plans for 2021 because i can't even do anything for myself, he baths me,he cooks for me, he goes to the mkt for our shopping, he does everything for me, There were days/weeks i don't taste water because once it touches my mouth i vomit everything in my belle. God the belle show me pepper. It continued like that till 7months when the vomiting reduced, morning sickness stopped entirely, i vomit like 2times in a week. My belle was very very long people thought is twins, the belle was too long for a first timer singleton, even some dr kept asking if is multiple ���� It got to a stage that walking was difficult, i can't walk very far because my waist and back aches, Bike people no dey gree carry me again �����, i use ride most times. I passed my first date which was 11th December, on 15th December i went for antenatal and Drs were considering admitting me, he said he doesn't want to induce me, though they later released me to go home and decided to work with my second date 19th December they said if nothing happens i should come with my bags on 19th December. They did scan too and the cervix was still closed as at that 15th, i went home, i stopped at my office bought plenty banana and groundnuts, when i got home i met hubby at home we ate the banana, i decided to lie down and rest but i was crying cos i was already tired(all my body scratches, the weight was just much, my legs swollen, my foot so painful, always hot can't sleep without fan) when hubby noticed i was crying he was like should we option out for CS, that he don't like the way i cry these days because of discomfort, i told him lets wait till 19th the Dr gave that if by 19th nothing happen we can option out for CS, around 9pm hubby gave me garri and egusi soup for dinner, after dinner we slept off but because i don't sleep i usually seat on a back chair all through the night and use pillows/stool to raise my legs. Around 3:53am i noticed my baby was pushing and i ve mild menstrual cramps, around 4am i went to pee then put some clothes in my washing machine after that immediately i stepped out from the bathroom i felt something gush out from my body at first i feel is urine because at that stage i usually leak urine, so i went to the room sat on my chair but after about 5mins i was feeling wet so i pulled my pant to check and i saw pinkish blood mixed with cervical mucus, i called hubby to see it, he said is SHOW but then i wasn't having pains just my baby pushing, he boiled water for me to bath after bathing i dressed up, called my elder sis to come on whatsapp so i could show her that thing immediately she saw the pix she said i should proceed to the hospital that i am in labor, so hubby prepared by then blood was already coming out, at 6am we started going to the hospital, as i was going down the stairs i felt something else gushed out and i looked on the floor and saw one kind yellowish water, we got to the hospital around 6:30 i was asker to go to emergency, when i got there i met the dr on night duty, he brought my folder started asking some questions and after that he tried to counsel me and also prepare my mind for the journey, he said as a first timer that labor can go for 72hrs and after 72hrs and i don't deliver that they will now intervene, immediately he said that i told him God forbid that i will deliver before 12pm, that if he knew what i ve passed through in the pregnancy that he won't say that to me, everybody there started laughing, after that he asked me to lie down so he can check me, he checked and said i am already 4cm gone that i am a woman if faith, he asked hubby to bring my bags and they admitted me, around 7:30am the main contractions started, God i don't know what to use and compare the pains, i couldn't stand, i couldn't lie down, i couldn't seat, i was just holding my husband i don't let him out of my sight because his presence gives me lot of strength/hope, around 11:55am they brought rice and stew for us hubby ate his own, i tried eating mine but the pains was unbearable hubby rushed and called the nurse to come and check me(apart from the one dr checked nobody checked me again) the nurse came and held me she said we will go to the labor room, by then i couldn't walk even to wear my slippers was a problem my legs were hurting badly, the nurse held me, i begged her to give me pain relief she said no, when we got to the labor room i couldn't climb the bed, they helped me climb,she checked and said my baby's head is out, they brought out delivery mat and other things and placed, went back to my room and collected my baby's cloth and diapers, by then i was already having the urge to push but they said i shouldn't push till they ask me to, they turned me to lie on my side with another nurse holding my legs together so i won't push, after about 30mins they checked again and now said i can push when ever have the urge, i pushed the first one the nurse said i am pushing with my chest, i should push like i want to poo strong poo���� i tried pushing again she now came to where my head is and push my head up and asked me to look at my navel, immediately i looked at my navel while raising my heads up my baby popped out...... Around 12:25pm A slim, dark, tall baby (nurses were shouting that she is very tall) they u cleaned her up and started stitching me up, we left the labor room around 12.45pm and was discharged the next day being 17th. We re here healthy, just the episiotomy that is still showing me pepper, Oh the pains no be here, anybody with solution on how to heal fast should help then my tommy, the long tummy is yet to enter inside. We re doing just fine apart from colic pains, she sleeps well at night and during the day. 56 Likes |

December mum that are planning to do photoshoot when is the right time to do that. my date is 11th and 19th December i don't know when i can go for photoshoot |

Hi team December moms hope we re all doing great. Biko make una clear me for thia matter I am 27weeks2days, EDD is 9th/11th Dec. A FTM, i don't know if my baby is kicking or not, but for sure i know it moves, when am i suppose to feel the kick, or is it that i ve not been able to differentiate kicks from movement. My last antenantal Dr told me is kicking because when he listen to the hrt beat he felt the kick. 1 Like |

BabyAvo:Do you feel pains? i have fibroid too which was seen at ultrasound at 13weeks, but till now i don't feel any pains, infact apart from seeing it at ultrasound i never knew it was there, this my first pregnancy. At 13weeks it was about 4.3cm but the last ultrasound i did at 19weeks it increased to 5.something but my Gyneacologist said since is not given me any issue i should ignore it and that's exactly what i did. infact i don't even remember the idiot at all all. 7 Likes |

Firstlady001:i am fine, morning sickness has eased off a bit but i still vommit plus back ache. please 23weeks is how many months? am yet to understand how they count this, then it seems my baby has started learning how to kick, i usually feel this kind of mild kpum kpum on my pelvic region. |

Nyxx123:yes, I'm in Owerri, i use Salvation Hospital (is my HMO), i also use Umezurike because is no 1 recommendation when ever you ask of a good hospital with good gynae and i also have 2 colleagues that delivered there in March their services are good also. 2 Likes |

Krystalluv:still dealing with MS and vomiting, started antenatal proper last week also had malaria 1+, completed my medication on saturday. they removed folic acid for me, gave me fesolate and calcium. My elder sis is starting the shopping on wednesday, am not going to check gender as this is the first one, i want it to be a surprise. |

Krystalluv:Abeg nausea is killing me, i vomit every day, the worst is that no appetite to eat anything except very hot tea, taking my drugs na war sef. i can't wait for this first trimester to pass. I think almost all team Dec are feeling this way that's why we don't talk much hahhhhahahahahahahhaahha 1 Like |

Moms please there was something that happened to me on sunday morning, i woke up and sneezed like 2times, after about 10mins i went to use the toilet when i wiped off i noticed bright red blood stain on the tissue, i kept on checking for about four more times and the spotting was still there though only when i wipe that i will see it, it didn't last upto 45mins before it stopped, i spoke to my DR that morning he said i shouldn't worry that i should rest but if continue with pains i should come by monday though it didn't continue but am worried, am even afraid of sneezing now. i will be 12weeks on thursday and a FTM. |

Goodevening house. i went for scan today and is measuring behind from my counting. from my counting i suppose to be 11weeks, my LMP was 4th March but scan measured 8weeks 6days though everything is just ok, and i saw my LO wiggling hands and legs, the baby i have prayed and waited for good 3years. i was counting my self as TEAM DEC but scan gave me 9/11/2021 so am now TEAM NOVEMBER. 8 Likes |

Mizjemie25:i don't know if this will work for you, when i first noticed am pregnant i had all these symptoms, but when i spoke to my Dr. she advised i add vit b6 supplement and zinc supplement to my drugs which i did and all those symptoms disappeared, though i never knew it was those supplements that helped because i even came here to complain of no symptoms but i later went back and complained to her again she said is the drugs that helped me, I do have symptoms now but not that disturbing, like on sunday i was so down with the symptoms till around 3pm, this morning i was very cold till around 12pm, the symptoms i have now are minimal and manageable and i will be 9weeks tomorrow. You can ask your gynea about these supplements and know if you can try them. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

[that means is normal, i have called my mum and my sis they said iS normal but i feel they are not being open to me that's why i decided to come here and ask. this morning i also asked my girlfriend she said her first child was like that till the day of delivery, i pray it continue like thisooo, i don't want to experience all those wired symptoms that people complain of. by the way congratulations where are both TEAM DECEMBER quote author=Krystalluv post=100867533] Oh wow..
