But on the other hand, the Presidency appears to have adopted the position of Asari et al. I didn't say Muslims shouldn't vote for GEJ. I want his camp to appeal to Muslim and northern voters. The message is lost. He can now visit north east. He can now visit emir Sanusi. He can now visit Yar' Adua's mum after his wife fought a bitter war with the man's widow over a parcel of land. His message is not coming out fine.

Let me take you back a bit. Remember that northern governors visiting Rivers State were stoned in Port Harcourt by PDP/Wike supporters. Remember that Asari turbaned a dog and called it Buhari. Same Asari called northerners leeches and ridiculed him and threatened the unity of this country if Jonathan doesn't get re-elected. Same as Edwin Clark. No one called them to order. Oritsejafor has unfettered access to the Presidency. All these conferred on Jonathan administration the status of a regional Christian government. Now what do you expect? i started looking for all my certificate.
Infact i have safely kept the receipt for
my jamb form, post jamb, lecture notes,
textbook, photos infact my signing out white vest too. Who knows anybody
may request for it. If someone who
schooled before independence can be
asked to present his certificate who am i.
If you are lucky enough to still have your
secondary school uniform and sandal please keep it. Who knows any clueless
person can ask for it.

Quota system was not existing in Nigeria 1961. The Nigerian army in particular did not need quota system at all. Nobody wanted to join the Army. You have to always think about things instead of depending on stories (lies) your parents told you and distorting your own vision. The army was the most looked down upon thing a young man could do in the south then. Southerners like Obasanjo joined the Army because they were poor and lacked opportunities, northerners were actively encouraging their best and brightest to join the army instead of going on to university to learn the professions. Buhari, Yaradua, IBB, Murtala Muhammad, Abdusalamai et.c would have been good lawyers, doctors and engineers if they had wanted to. The north planned to dominate the army while we wanted to control civilian professions, which strategy was right or wrong history will prove but you always get what you deserve nothing more.
