Frankrobbn1: Frankrobbn1: jnyuwa02:Quote me anywhere! I stand yes!!! and I'm 100% certain that Canadian embassy don't regard Company bank statement as primary proof of funds to applicant for a study visa. Reasons because in each company there are board of directors that foresee the affairs of the company and the visa officer knows that sponsoring applicant from company's account will require you consulting the shareholders of the company, of which they know that the shareholders also have some share from the business finance, with their dependants to cater for. " I have seen applicants that submitted their application with 150M company bank statements and got refused for insufficient funds. But in their second attempt they changed it to their sponsor personal bank statement and got approved. As I said earlier, you can use company bank statement but make sure you add it up with sponsor personal statement to evident proof of his/her financial establishment. Note: Applicant that chooses to use only company bank statements for the visa application must provide proof that their sponsor is the sole signatory to the account before such application will scale through and the shareholders of the company won't be a hindrance to this . If not its an automatic refusal for insufficient funds. Thank you! |
WEIRDPC:Nice one Bro! Please prospective applicants should align |
Asapant:If the word Post graduate diploma (PGD) was not specified on the school webpage then it's an ordinary dipolma program. As Mcobex have just said, check the admission requirements this will give you a clearer clarification if it's an ordinary dipolma or not. All the best |
Moley22:Yes it can serve as a support to the sponspor personal bank statement but not as primary proof of funds. But if applicant, don't have funds on their company bank statement, its better to submit only the personal statement. |
kylexy61:This is a welcome idea. I have been thinking about this all this while. Someone should please volunteer his/her self. An active member preferably is needed here to take up this role. WEIRDPC, SILK07, ORIEYELE , OFFICIALAEL, MOLEY22, SLEEKLYSOFT, KYLEXY61and co- Please guys a person should volunteer for this. |
gbemiigbal:No it's not mandatory as the Visa officers don't regard Company bank statement. |
swisster:. As time goes on, it will increase. There are limited number of applications with them. |
chrislong:. chrislong, Your question is vague, that's why no one paid attention to it. Please start by exploring to www.cic.gc.ca you will get a better understanding once you visit the site. Any abbreviation you seem not to understand, ask questions.... Like SOP - statement of purpose, LOA - Letter of acceptance, TRV - Temporary resident visa, PPR - passport request, LOE - letter of explanation, V.O - Visa officer, LOS - Letter of sponsorship, PR - Permanent Residence, SOA - statement of account, etc... As time goes on you will get to adapt with the system. To the above bolded_____ YES! You need a TRV. You need all your academic and career accomplishment documents, sponsors business/employment documents, bank statement for the past 6 months. Finally do yourself good by reading the previous part 13 thread. Trust me after reading the 500 pages there, you will be more advanced than me. All the best! |
Olalekank:Amen! That's our prayer. |
sanjay01, Study gaps simply means what you have been doing since you left university/after the completion of your first degree. That's if you decide to hide the masters degree from them. You might say you have been working since you left university, a job role that is reasonable inlight with the masters degree in economics you intend studying and provide proof to your claims. If the above route will be hard for you, then you need to provide a rational explanation to why you're going for second masters degree in Canada other than a Phd to show academic/career progression. Because I know that Agricultural economics is no way reasonable with pure Economics, they both defers and have different disciplines. So this left for you to decide which best suit you. But I prefer the first one or you go for a Phd, there are experienced men here that are going for PhD, that will be of paramount help to you. .... In person of Silk07 ,MAziude who is already in Canada and co-, you can Pm them, so they can guide you through the process of securing a PhD offer. What is needed here is the new passport not the old expired one. But, to be on the safer side, photocopy the bio data pages of the expired passport clearly showing your travel histories and submit it together with the new passport. This will fly best. The validity of police character certificate here in Nigeria is 3 months, I don't knw about China. Yes since its valid for 2 months you're free to submit it. No cause for alarm. |
de3lar:de3lar, Good to have you here. With the bolded program, I don't think it will be easy to find such exact program in Canada. Try check: college of the north Atlantic canada at Newfoundland and British Columbia institute of technology. These are colleges that offers wide range of dipolma programs. You haven't gotten an institution yet, so no one can give you an estimate on what it cost, as many institutions have differences on their tuition. Meanwhile, make sure you have your 10,000CAD for living expenses approximately 2.8M plus your tuition (Which I don't know) for your first year of studies in Canada. Finally, don't be in a haste to sit for an English exam (IELTS/TOEFL) endeavor to know the admission requirements for the institution first before doing this. Nigeria is an English speaking country so I don't see reasons sitting for the exams. All the best on your pursuit. |
sanjay01:sanjay01, Welcome to the forum. Answer 1-) The both will scale through, but the bolded will be easier and will help your case here. But you must account for your study gaps while going through this route. Answer 2-) Your passion and full interest towards your home country will go a long way in convincing the visa officer that you will return after your studies. Show sufficient ties to your home country i.e. what will compel you to return home? 1-) Do you have a spouse and kids(minors) and are you leaving them behind? 2-) Do you have elderly parents who depend on you? 3-) Do you own businesses/property that you need to continue managing? 4-) Do you have adequate funds? 5-) Do you have family members whom are not accompanying you to Canada? Answer 3-) The bolded is the best option here. Apply alone, while your family stay back as a strong tie to your country. Once you get there, its very easy to bring them into Canada. Answer 4-) Do you mean to say if your passport will be submitted along with your application? Online applicants don't need to submit their passport for application submission, after successful review of applicant application a request for passports will surface. While, Paper route applicant you have to submit your passport along with your application. Answer 5-) There is no limited number of pages you must have on your SOP. It really boils down on applicant personal circumstances and situations. An ideal SOP should be straight forward and precise with at least 2-3 pages. Answer 6-) If you're legally residing in China, let say with a study visa, you don't necessarily need to come back to Nigeria to apply for your visa. Apply in china and save your self from Nigeria application scrutiny by the Visa officer, with less processing time. I hope this information answers your questions. If not sufficient enough, feel free to ask questions. All the best! |
cindelinc, Tuition = 18,000CAD (First year tuition), Living expenses = 10,000CAD(First year)... Total = 28,000CAD. Your sponsor needs to have money than the total figure shortlisted and have some left for his business, dependants and personal life. The number of dependants will determine how much your father should have in his account. If your father has many dependants, he should show funds X3 of 28,000CAD... i.e 84,000CAD. Preferably, personal and company bank statements should be submitted along with your application. Visa will be issued based on the length of your program. Edited: now using WEIRDPC figure for tuition. |
Mazi9:Mazi9, CAC certificate/document is a document that show proof that sponspor business is legally registered. The full meaning of CAC is - Corporate Affairs Commission..... All the best! |
chibreezy:chibreezy, Congratulations on your achievement (TRV Approval). I must say that this was the hand work of God. Wow! No personal assets, no employment letter, No SOP, No birth certificates for family members, No academic/career progression, No proof of relationship with sponsor etc... and still got approved. You're indeed a favoured child and destined to be in Canada. I'm happy for you chibreezy and a big AMEN to your prayers. All the best! |
yemdogg:Thank you and I remain loyal Boss! The young man is giving out what he has learnt from his boss! Good to see you're doing well bro. All the best! |
Biakwa:. Biakwa, God bless you. Thanks for the compliments. |
cindelinc, That's good! Using your dad as a sponsor is a credible one to your application. Make sure that the contract company account you plan using, he(Dad) is the sole signatory to the account and make sure before you print the bank statement it closes with a good sum, possibly add your dad personal savings statement to show proof of his personal financial establishment. Going for M.eng for 3 to 5 semesters (2 years) is also good. Endeavor to construct a convincing SOP that will stand out to present your case to the visa officer. |
yemdogg:A standing ovation to the Grand Boss, the General, Retired but not tired, he is no other person but....... YEMDOGG , it's really nice seeing you here once again bro doing what you know how to do best. My boss, my solemn greetings goes to you. How have you been? |
jnyuwa02:Lol! This guy self jnyuwa02 , why are you quoting me at the beginning of the thread?. Isn't it too early to table my matter boss? ![]() Well, This makes the beginning of each thread exciting and my reason for doing that is simply to elevate the depressed (Applicants who feel they can't make it again and decides to quit). Praying to God Almighty and asking prospective applicants to punch at the LIKE button is not bad and also not a religious legalism as you say, it all depends on how you see it from your own perspective my friend jnyuwa02. Shalom! |
Cindelinc, Your plans are quiet good, but why 1 year program? You know the rate at which this visa officers tag applicants with 1 year study permit application. They see them as not a bona-fide student that will leave Canada at the end of their stay and they are using study permit as means to facilitate entry into Canada. Well, I never said its impossible okay, but chances are quiet Slim not with the high rate of refusals now a days. Applicants needs to put up an upright application. Wait a minute, are you self sponsored ? Because I can see you mentioning funds for 2 years program will be much. Before, I proceed I need to get an answer to my above question. |
chigrad:chigrad, You should present this with passion and full interest. There is nothing bad changing career path. Since you are business incline for the past 3 years and going for MBA shouldn't be a problem here. I must say your SOP was not properly written and convincing enough to the visa officer. Changing a program that is reasonable in light with your previous studies/job role does not in any way sound desperation. Just that, You have to go through the process of securing Admission from the scratch. Which is quite stressful. I advise you present your previous case well, other than going through admission process all over again. But if you feel you can't convince the visa officer then you can go for a program that is related to your previous studies. I believe a strong SOP should help your case here. Shalom! |
chigrad:. chigrad, This is very easy to tackle. Since you said you previously studied Chem for your first degree and having been into business for the past 3 years and intending to go for a business administration for your masters. You need to explain to the Visa officer that there is a career progression in your pursuit and endeavor to write convincingly why you choose to pursue business admin for your masters degree and why you deviated from chemistry to business after your first degree. Try as much as possible to link your job role to your intended program in your SOP. This is what the visa officer require from you and when this is done, you will be fine. |
chigrad:Attach your GCMS Note first then we can tell you what went wrong on your application. |
As we match into a new thread today. I decree and declare as many of you that are longing for TRV approval, Here me clearly God will change your story this time and as you click on the LIKE button may heaven force the visa officers to grant you your visas in Jesus name. AMEN! Your case is settled!!! Go and pick up your TRV counter foil! Shalom!..............Loaded 100% Grace |
MICHV1:Well said the boss of all bosses. I wish you the very best in all your endeavours. *TRV DOCTOR* Shalom! |
justwise:Mr.justwise! To what do i owe this august visit? Lol! I, Frankrobbn1 advertising 3rd party services?. I want to believe that you must be referring to the label on the image. The fellow needed assistance and for real I never knew I was indirectly advertising a prohibited service. I only pasted the image so that the applicant in question and people of the same situation like this can learn from it and have a clear picture on how to address the concerns of the visa officer regarding their previous refused application and NOTHING ELSE. I never had any ulterior motive and I can't do anything to deter the image of this great forum. Thank you! |
Biakwa:Biakwa, Of course yes! Any visa officer that will be responsible in reviewing applicant next Visa application will definitely go through their GCMS Data files to find out the factual reasons behind the refusal of the applicant previous application and check if applicant have shown concerns to their previous refusal grounds. This is the essence of ordering applicant file before reapplication. As I said earlier, after tackling insufficient funds raised in the previous application, make sure you tackle other vital clauses like home ties, personal assets, current employment situation etc.. As a new visa officer might raise this refusal grounds after tackling insufficient funds, so while re-applying don't just face the refusal ground in which you were denied, try as much as possible to tackle the rest of the reasons that can lead to visa refusal. Cross all T's and dot every i's. Yes! It very important to have a separate letter where you can address the concerns of the visa officer regarding the previous refused application, you should list out the things you have done to show that you have meet the requirements for a study permit. This letter can be titled LETTER OF EXPLANATION, it should be written by the applicant and not the sponsor. Please find the attachment, I believe this will go a long way in constructing your letter of explanation to the visa officer regarding the previous refused application. Make sure you order for your GCMS note. Beware of plagiarism and don't copy verbatim. Thank you! All the best! |
MICHV1:Congratulations to the boss of all bosses. |
cindelinc:cindelinc, Your friend is perfectly correct Sir/Ma. You have a good CGPA 2.1 that can yield you a masters program. A visa officer will be wondering why you decided to go for a diploma program in project management that is no way related to your previous studies/job role, why not masters degree to show progression in studies/career, why not university instead of college. My best advise is to stick for a masters degree that will be relevant to your previous studies in chemical engineering and to your 2 years working experience in the chemical field. Also go for university instead of a college. With this, you will have more chances of getting approval and save yourself the stress of cracking your brain to convince a Visa officer. Reasons behind this, is because, the rate at which these visa officers denies applicants of their visas now a days is tremendously alarming and I don't advise any applicant to put their application at risk, all in the name of "LET ME TRY MY LUCK". Moreover, I don't think a visa officer will believe your motivation to study and explanation of coming back to your father's company after your studies, is something that can compel your return back home, in as much as there are so many applicants out there with the same aspirations like yours. So, most visa officers are use to this phrase...... "I'm coming back home to join/work for my father's/mother/uncle/aunty company or continue my job blah blah blah... These are normal phrases people use on their SOP, try establish strong reasons for coming back not just this. Discuss more on how your acquisition of a masters degree in this program will be of paramount benefit to your home country and your career prospects in Nigeria. Finally, please do yourself good by going for a masters program that will be beneficial to you as a person and to your prospects back in Nigeria. All the best! |
jnyuwa02:. Well said jnyuwa02, but it doesn't really matter which account an applicant used in paying their tuition. I strongly doubt if a visa officer checks if tuition fees were paid from sponspor/applicant account. What a visa officer wants to see, is simply the proof of tuition payment and nothing else, no one cares which account it was paid from. Let me use a case scenario where a distant relative/friend who is not a sponsor helps completes tuition payment for an applicant and the applicant submits their application without such amount of money reflecting that it went out from the applicant account nor their sponspors account and all in all they still got their visa approved. This happens in many different occasions not 1 nor twice.. This simply shows that a Visa officer don't care which account a tuition payment was carried out from. As I said earlier your intake is a welcomed one. I'm not objecting it. |
