please be advised that GTB MASTER CARD is no more functioning for international transaction.
On a contrary I used same GTB bank Naira MasterCard to pay for my gcms note on 27th of August 2017 and the payment of $23 went through using www.gcmsnow.com The bank deducted an equivalent of 8433.87 NGN from my account. Well, the fellow said he tried using GTB MASTER CARD but it didn't go through. All the same Thanks for the info. |

afehin71: Hello house i got a delay mail from CIC based on the following. I submitted on 28/06/2017 through paper route.
1. Pursuant to Section 219 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulation, I am not satisfied that you: A. have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the tuition fees for the course or program of studies that you intend to pursue.
2. You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including: A. Purpose of visit B. Travel history C. Family ties in Canada and in other countries DOCUMENTS • clearly filled application documents • SOA (father sponsor #17.4m) • personal Essay of purpose of visit and reason for choosing canada • letter of admission +proof of payment of tuition fee (Seneca college) • letters from bank, father's employee, • transcript from ui undergraduate year1 and Waec and police report • birth certificate • father's data pages (he schooled in Greece for 5years about 29years ago) • consent letter from both parents • first refusal letter attached too Sorry about that Bro. Your profile is straight forward. But only your GCMS Note will point out the main reason for your denial. Please order for your notes as soon as possible to know the Visa officer reasons. |

chinexchiboy: Hello house i have been a silent reader for quite some time now. And i need help regarding my visa application, my school fees and living expensis for a year is about 20k cad. And my mother is my sponsor, the problem i am facing is that she has about 14million in treasury bills, which can Comfortably take care of my bills for the first and second year. But her statement of account now is 0 naira with an inflow of about 16million and outflow of 16million too.
I need to know if using the treasury bill alone and having a statement of 0 naira will lead to insufficient fund denial..
If that is the case what steps do i take to combact this issue. You suggestion will be highly appreciated, as i am in a fix right now. If the treasury bill account will be easily accessible by the applicant when the need arises then you can use it, that's what the visa officer wants to be sure of. If be the case, I'll advice she send the 20kCAD to your personal account, since it covers both your tuition and living expenses for your first year. Then you have no problem with finances. Also explain that in her Letter of Support. This my own token. Others will also advice. |

cashhip: Hi guys, reporting live from Regina, Canada. Just a few tips based on my personal experience and thoughts. 1. CIC works based on the information you give to them. They will also judge you based on the same information you give to them. So what ever info you are giving to them, be ready to defend it at all times.
2. One of the reasons for delay in correspondence is too much of uneccessary documents sent to them. They might then need to verify some, thereby causing delays.
3. When sending documents for initial proof of funds, please go as far as sending your sponsor's promotion letters, salary increment letters etc. It helps.
4. For those that get rejected before or just after medical call, it seems to be 80% due to insufficient funds. I think that is the first thing they check. NB. Never deposit bulk money before printing account statement.
5. I dont think it is wise to keep sending them emails when the wait period has not been elapsed, it might raise concerns.
6. If you are asked to later provide etra proof of funds, try to email them the proof late in the night so that it will be among the first set of documents they will treat in Acrra the next day.
God bless you as you hear only Good News |

Austinpee4: To those whose study permit application got refused for one reason or another, GET YOUR GCMS file! No need rushing to reapply. If your situation or information hasn't changed substantively since the refusal, there is high likelyhood that the re-application will be refused for same reason(s) and there will be little reason to expect a different decision.
Your ONLY chance to put an air tight reapplication is when you know the officer's information as surmised or inferred in your file. DO NOT underestimate your immigration file because once CANADA refuses your visa application, most top destination countries will have that information and it will stick with you for atleast a decade or 5 years to say a minimum. Do not give them continous reason(s) to refuse your application on same grounds. Each reapplication is treated as a new application but information from any previous application will be used as reference for the new application.
This thing has been buttressed here repeatedly. Please, don't take a chance to get a good immigration record for granted. Get it right in your new application.
To our newbies and silent followers, it will not be enough to silently read or assume you have put in a good application. If you have any doubt whosoever about your documents or any information about your application before you apply, come out of hiding and get help. Nobody is an island of whatsoever kind of knowledge, it's a collective effort to get things right. It is seemingly getting tougher by the day for study permit applications coming from Nigeria. The scrutiny is increasingly stringent even with an assumed good application. However, this new development will require re-strategizing with cogent and vital information that will present you as a genuine student irrespective of which level of study your proposed program is.
CALM DOWN and get your GCMS file! It will help you. |

Jaejay: God is so good! Submitted July 13th with upfront medicals, medicals passed a week after. Eligibility Review on August 16th being yesterday morning. Approval on August 16th when I checked at night.
Got a BA in interior Architecture- Cyprus Ma in Architecture- UK Going for a second masters in Environmental Studies.
I've been a silent reader here. Was really encouraged by the faith some of us possess here. It's amazing. When I went to submit my application last month, VFS officer told me "you are submitting late" considering my program starts commences in a couple of weeks, but the Holy Spirit told me "I got you". Nothing is a rule out with God truth be told.
Be encouraged everyone! Waooo :-) , congratulations |

mesh2003: Most universities accept fall/winter for international students. Most colleges which are more flexible have fall, winter, spring and summer. It depends on the college. But you might not have the option to do more courses during spring and summer semesters. (talking from experience) I will run a check on that. Thank you @mesh2003 |

guzenaira: Believe me, if you take to action all these things you have bee told, your application will surely be a success. But never underestimate the power of prayer as well. It opens door, change the unchangeable and makes your mind at peace. So if you believe in prayer, tell it to God to guide and guard you.
Make it snappy my brother, leaving no stone unturned.
January is around the corner.
It is well.
Thank you my brother. Prayers has always been my hobby since i embarked on this journey. I have noted all suggestions down and I'll input them in next application. Once more I'm grateful for your contributions. @Guzenaira |

jnyuwa02: Yes every time conditions are specified in an acceptance letter, this leaves you vulnerable to the whims and caprice of a VO. Try and make your application full proof, never leaving any t's uncrossed and i's undotted. Having an unconditional acceptance letter would help much in your case. I think you should pay heed to a previous person who adviced you to get a new admission somewhere cheaper that will even be willing to waive ESL for you. Goodluck You have done well @jnyuwa02. Your suggestions is a welcome idea. I'll see what i can do about it. |

cuspy: Hello bro, since the school won't waive the ESL programs for you, I suggest you take another IELTS. This time strive harder to meet the requirements needed. This is a far more cost effective way if handling that, you spend about #75k which cannot be compared with 3500CAD.
Lastly, does this your uncle truly want to sponsor you? Or you just want to use his SOA to get the TRV? Perfectly Spoken. i'll look into that. Sure my uncle is willingly to sponsor me.(Any input please)? |

bbclue: FANKEROBBN1......
I think showing money in your own name when you have a job is crucial here. And also look for sponsor that have good bank balance
Write strong SOP and provide sufficient tie to your country. You will be in good shape. @Bbclue Thanks I'm seriously working on that now. I appreciate a lot for you contributions so far. |
