klbakare:Add... Article of association and memorandum(vital), Treasury bills certificate(Vital), shares certificate (optional).... Endeavor to include your father landed property/assests. |
klbakare:klbakare, Even if its your father's company and you will be coming back to the company after studies, you need to present your father personal savings bank statements to evidence his personal financial establishment. You only add your father's company bank statement to support your application, not as principal proof of fund to applicant. Unless your father can get a letter from the bank stating that he is the sole signatory to his company's account. Then he provide his company documents clearly showing him(your father) as the highest share holder in the company. Then you will be fine. |
BRANDYAK: bbclue:CC:Bbclue She is correct. Tell them that the curriculum differs, the course in canada has added this and which is not part of the curriculum here in Nigeria. To support your claims you quickly read through your course website and include those courses that are not found here in Nigeria. All the best! |
Austinpee4:Thank you boss Austinpee4, You guys left us, so we have continue from where you all stopped. How have you been and how is life treating you over there in Canada? God bless! |
Cherryola:Hello: Your questions have been answered already on this thread. Check the below link to find answers to your questions. https://www.nairaland.com/3948393/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/391#63425662 |
Cherryola:Hello Cherryola, I'm sorry madam, please order your GCMS/CAIPS file so as to know the factual reasons behind your previous refusals. I telling you how to tackle your refusal grounds based on your refusal letter without seeing your previous GCMS file is misleading/Guess work. Order for your file! Before then, you can as well check the link below, i believe it has answers to your questions https://www.nairaland.com/3948393/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/391#63425662 |
Zlatimi:Hello Zlatimi, On behalf of the forum we say we are deeply sorry about your visa refusal yesterday. From the look of things you were only refused based on Finances - INSUFFICIENT FUNDS. I'm thinking the Visa officer noticed recent Lump Sum deposit into your sponsors from unknown source, which was what lead to your refusal. I must say that finances refusal is the easiest refusal reasons when compared to other grounds. I'll advise you order for your GCMS Note/ CAIPS File, so as to know how best to tackle the concerns of the visa officer. |
bbclue:Good! That would be sufficient enough to address the concerns of the visa officer. All the best in your next application. |
gbemiigbal:Sir! If funds can be readily exportable and accessible by you, you're good to go just make sure your LOE/SOP addresses this very well for them to understand and once that's done you will be fine. All the best! |
MichyEhi:Hello MichyEhi, Please be guided that Canadian embassy don't regard Company bank statement as proof of funds towards an applicant. The Visa officer knows that no company will spend her funds meant for the maintenance and upkeep/expense of the company to sponsor an applicant abroad. What have you done for the company to deserve such benefit? How long have you worked for the company that they decide to sponsor you? You can only include company bank statement to support your application, not as the principal proof of funds. So re-strategies and make sure more funds are readily available in your name or in your sponsor personal savings. All the best! |
gbemiigbal:Sir! Hope the said terminal benefits of 12M can be easily accessible and exported to Canada for your use? Because thats what the visa officer wants to be sure of and you need to provide proof to your claims, so you don't be a burden to the Canadian government. Are you self sponsored? Personal savings 5.6M is good to an extent, but it really depends on what you are going to Canada to study, your tuition fees and living expenses. |
bbclue:Hi bbclue, I have no template available for that. But from my experience in the Canadain student visa, this is one of the easiest refusal reason one can tackle on his/her GCMS NOTE. Your sponsor needs to address all lump sum deposit with concrete reasons and proof like where the origin of such amount of money is coming from. Was it through business sales/transcations? You need to provide the receipts of such transactions. House rents fees - provide reciepts issued to your tenants. Sales of landed property - provide reciepts of the sold land. There are no special way of addressing Lump sum deposit. Just provide proof and explanations and you are good to go. |
gbemiigbal:Hello gbemiigbal, To the best of my knowledge i believe this has to do with personal loan secured by terminal benefits i.e the company you work for writes a letter to the bank confirming that if you leave they will pay off the loan using your terminal benefits and that your salary will be paid to that bank for the duration of the loan.? How much is allocated to you as your terminal benefits?? How much is your tuition fees and living expenses 10KCAD? Can this benefits settle for your tuition and living expenses? These are the questions you ask yourself. if it can settle for your expense in Canada and can be accounted for, then you use it. Well generally cic accepts loans as Proof of funds, but can't really tell about terminal benefits. |
bbclue:God bless you more Ma! How far with your application?. I can smell your TRV Approval soonest. All the best!!! |
KlausMike:Hello KlausMike, Using a 4 months bank statement is not bad as written by cic webpage. BANKSTATEMENT FOR THE LAST FOUR MONTHS, since it's a sponsored account why not get 6 months statement so that you can sleep with all eyes closed. As i said earlier using a 4 months statement is not bad, but try as much as possible to follow Lagos VFS. |
loveson:Hello loveson, Be guided that embassies, most especially Canadian embassy don't check ones account balance, the only thing they do is to verify the genuineity of such account and the transcations made on the said bank statements, this happens most often when they are not sure or convinced about the transactions carried out on the bank statement. No bank releases his/her customer account balance to any embassy, unless there are investigations that you are into fraud business that's when EFCC can come in not embassy. |
Osebaba123:Most time YES and At times No, It really depends on the level of education you are looking up to. Let say you are 30yrs old and you're looking forward towards a degree program. You and I know it's not possible. But for Masters and PhD i don't think there are restrictions for that, you only need to explain your study gaps when applying for your student visa. |
RetiredNigerian:STANDARD GCMS $23. |
TDultimate: TDultimate:Hi TDultimate, Sorry for your refusal. It seems like you are not getting things right on your application. Firstly, Is your intended program reasonable inline/relevant to your previous education or Job role? Secondly, what's your level of education ... BSc, PGD, MSc, phd ? Thirdly, was there any indication of lump sum deposit into your account or sponsors account, if there is, did you explain clearly the source of fund to the visa officer?. SOURCE OF FUNDS/INCOME plays a vital role on your application in tackling insufficient funds and satisfying the visa officer that future funding exist. Also, did you clearly state on your SOP/LOE that you have successfully paid for your full tuition fees? Lastly, is this your first application? Have you been denied visa before? If yes, how did you tackle the concerns of the visa officer on your previous app? Did you order for your GCMS note previously and clearly explain everything to the visa officer. Please give answers to this questions, then we can now know how best to assist you. Once more sorry for the refusal. |
OFFICIALAEL:Hello, Affidavit has no special requirement or steps. Walk into Ikeja high court, tell them you want to get an affidavit of support, it takes like 30minutes because they will have to print it out from their system and it goes for #700. They might ask you to show them some love, as someone that is aspiring to travel to Canada. So i best suggest you go with 2k. Because once they hear Canada, menh! they will call 2k. You will need to go with your sponsor to the court as they would need his signature as the deponent. As i said earlier, go with 2k so you can get it done even without your sponspor escorting to the court, they will just indicate his name as the signature of the deponent. Answer 2 - Follow the advise of your bank officer, there is no way on earth you will transfer naira to dorm account. So go get the funds changed at BUREAU DE CHANGE and deposit it in your dorm account with your sponsor name as the depositor. While, your sponsor addresses this on his letter of sponsorship. Best of luck OFFICIALAEL! |
gbemiigbal:Please Sir!, you can use your terminal benefits as part of your POF(Proof Of Fund) It will go a long way in tackling PERSONAL FINANCIAL ESTABLISHMENT/ASSET. I never said you shouldn't use it. "Proof to them the tendency/possibility of loosing and getting back the job in your home country is high that's all" |
yamen21:Since you have tackled the reasons raised by the Visa officer on your GCMS NOTE, worry less about travel history. Hope you ordered for your GCMS NOTE, because that where you tackle not PURPOSE OF VISIT, HOME TIES.. BLAH BLAH. |
Fabelurin1988:Hello, A high school transcript is basically a record of your academic accomplishments in high school, we normally call it REPORT SHEET/CARD. It lists every class you took, when you took them, and the grade you received in each class. Official transcripts often have to be sent directly to the institution by your high school in order to remain official, while a transcript you print or copy yourself will be unofficial. Most colleges require you to submit an official copy of your high school transcript when you apply. So contact your highschool for your transcripts. Be guided that WAEC/NECO is a certification of your graduation from highschool and not a transcripts. I hope this answers your question. |
Zoowonderdhabi Replied Pm Sir! |
OgbeniWole33:As authorized by the Admin of this thread Mr. Justwise you can use the below link to order for your GCMS NOTE. But be guided when going through this process you will need someone who resides at canada, be it a student, a Canadian citizen or a permanent residence of Canada etc.. to complete this task on your behalf. I don't want to mention any other sites where you can get your Notes from Nigeria without going through those processes before I'll be sanctioned. Good luck! https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en |
tilewaaa: OgbeniWole33:Hello tilewaa and OgbeniWole33, You guys are funny , with the above comments. I understand how it feels when your app gets delayed. Please find the attached link beneath this post, there you will find where i shortlisted RECENT REFUSAL REASONS and possible ways to tackle the concerns of the visa officer. When doing this, you should also try as much possible to order for your GCMS Notes as this will help give an insight on what went wrong on your app. Once more, sorry for the delay. I believe your next application will turn out good. Best of luck!!! https://www.nairaland.com/3948393/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/391#63425662 |
Sleemzy13:Hi sleemzy, Using your father as a sponsor is a credible one to your application, as the Visa officer acknowledge parental sponsorship other than a distant relative. Since you're working for him, you can add your bank statement to prove evidence that you earn something and also be guided that there are no cut off money figure that should appear on your salary bank statement. Your father being your sponspor is a good one, you can have him pay your full tuition fees and you will be fine, so you can tackle INSUFFICIENT FUNDS .We mainly encourage applicant that use distant relative as a sponsor to make sure that their sponsor pay their full tuition fees and transfer their living expenses to their account prior submission. But your case is other way round. So you don't need to worry about that okay. Note: Your father should submit both his company bank statement and personal savings account very important, as visa officer don't regard Company bank statement compared to his personal savings account. Also what jnyuwa02 said is correct! All the best! |
bbclue: Moley22:You nailed it Moley22!!! This is a guided one. Cc: Ms Bbclue |
Moley22:Hello, Previously I applied to MUN for the winter semester. But things never worked out as planned, due to some unnecessary requirements they were demanding from me. So therefore, I decide to change base to University of Winnipeg for the Spring 2018. |
