warrination1: Hello gurus Qudkum, JustMellow, Bracha, Austacus, Oluwaseunbd, Frank and anyone who can help.
Please I am having some difficulties in my application uploading my IMM1294e form. I downloaded the form and filled it, saved it and tried uploading it and the response am getting is
"The form could not be submitted because errors were found. Error: We couldn't upload your file.
Error Description: The version of the document submitted is no longer accepted"
I have tried different browsers even Internet explorer but I still get the same outcome. Please what can I do to fixed this or is there something I am not doing right? This is a general issue as I have received over 4 to 5 applicants who recently complained to me that they are currently facing difficulty in uploading the IMM1294E (Application Made outside of Canada) through their MyCIC Account after validating and saving the form on their desktop.... Some have taken steps by reporting the issue to the IRCC technical department but all effort proved ineffective. Myself will also play around with it to see if I can proffer a remedy for it. Once that is done, I'll give you a feedback here by earliest tomorrow. |

kcosam: Good morning house, Please I want to ask a question, I have being curious to know if Ghana visa office still process visa application from Nigeria at all. It has been a while since I hear anyone with a correspondence letter stating Ghana visa office. All we hear is either Kenya, London, or Lagos. Please has anyone noticed it? Ghana (Accra) immigration office are majorly the ones processing Permanent residence applications from Nigeria. They stopped handling study visa applications as at March, 2018. At this moment, all correspondence regarding a study visa application from Nigeria are been processed at Kenya, Nairobi. London visa officer's are still battling with the May,June and July applicants who submitted their applications last year. During the regime of Lagos, they were so compassionate in issuing visas and lucky applicants who applied as at then with complicated issues and less documents were approved. |

Tlontin: Pls house. Will my medical result be updated immediately qlife send to IRCC? I am asking because they said they have but I haven’t seen any update regarding it. It takes 3-4 working days for your medical result to be finalized and sent to IRCC database. Were you instructed by IRCC to undergo a medical exam? If so, you should receive an update soon on your MyCIC account. |

The job offer can be LMIA inclusive or LMIA exempt. Work permit application fee is 155$CAD and a biometrics fees of 85$CAD..... Total = 240$CAD. Please refer your future queries to the relevant visa threads as this window is strictly for study visa. Thanks |

Caddy123: Have you ordered GCMS notes? Many applications from June to August being handled at the London office is still under review. I will advise you get your GCMS notes first before taking decision. I have read of some you got approval after 14months and also of some who don't denied after 11months. Just get your GCMS notes ok. . Ordering a GCMS note for an application that has stayed 12 months and still counting has no effect on the application. As a matter of fact, I have been in proximity with a fellow May/June Applicant. If I am not mistaken, the applicant has requested for his CAIPS file for four (4) consecutive times and yet there is no staggering response/update from IRCC pertaining the success rate of the application. More importantly, over my two years and above existence on this reputable platform, we haven't encountered nor have seen any applicant's application that has stayed 14 months as you claimed. The maximum we have seen which was approved at the 12th month in December 2017 was a guy named Abiodunne, aside this moniker there has been none until now. You may want to explain further where you got your information from. |

Ancy12: Hello everyone how are you all doing ,? Am reapplying again after my first refusal and am putting all my documents together but I have a concern pls house I have a land property which is worth 4m and I have the deeds with me but don’t have the survey plan yet based on money nor too dey hand again so I would like to know if I can use the deeds without the survey plan. Thanks house urgent reply is needed The landed property document you own does it have a LAND C OF O (Certificate of occupancy)?. It's very important to include a survey plan with your application as it further buttresses the fact that you're the bonafide and legal owner of the landed property. Furthermore, it displays the area and dimensions of the said landed property to the visa officer's comprehension. I would suggest you hire a certified surveyor for a survey plan.. My candid advice is that you should leave no stone unturned. |

powerblessing: Hello house
Please is there any other means of contacting the CIC. I have been emailing them as regards to my application that will complete 12 months by June 1, no decision has been made on my application yet not even medical request... 12 months its so frustrating. I don’t think there’s anyone here whose application is as old as mine.. if I can sue this CIC honestly I would. I just need a decision at this moment be it positive or negative I don’t care anymore. I need this decision to get back my tuition fee if the outcome is negative. My admission letter has expired and my school will not refund my tuition fee until they see a refusal letter from CIC..I’m tired please I need help.. I have been emailing CIC 3 times a weeks for the last one month no respond.. You have got nothing to be afraid of. Simply request for a withdrawal of your application. You might be lucky to receive an approval or unluckily a refusal as the case maybe. Your temporary resident application has exceeded a permanent resident processing times which is programmed at 6 months. |

When you applied for your Visa what was the normal processing time as at then? Has it exceeded it stipulated time frame? Why order for GCMS note so soon when your application is presently undergoing it's due process? You're better off taking a chill pill and keep yourself busy with other activities while you await a positive response on your application. |

Okoriekwe: Can an upfront be done even after submission of the application online? Thought it could only be done before submission. Would be happy to get clarification. Thanks. Upfront medicals as defined by IRCC is known to be a medical exam done ahead of time before application submission which requires the applicant to include an E-MEDICAL slip alongside the application package. As at mid-last year applicants who experienced backlogs of cases on their applications began to seek for a remedy in an effort to expedite the processing of their visas. Many opted for upfront medicals whilst, others ordered for their CAIPS file... that was how the origin of medicals after submission started on this thread. |

Bracha: Hi Frankrobbn1, could you please explain the parts in bold to me. It sort of contradicts what I know. Do you mean that first applications so not need to submit fingerprints? Aren't fingerprints a part of the biometric identification? Also if they do not submit fingerprints, as a form of biometrics, what then is valid for 10 years? Thank you. My bad! That was a typo. , I meant to say if it was the applicant first time of applying for a temporary resident visa to Canada, then he/she is expected to submit their fingerprint at the visa application centre (VAC) and pay the required fees of 85$ prior to application submission. On the basis that it is the second application, then he/she isn't suppose to submit their fingerprints as the previous refused application details including the biometrics is valid until a decade. Thanks Bracha for calling to my attention! |

Austacus: Oga boss what bout in a situation whereby PA have no travel history and criminal conviction and got refused in background checks?
Could it be in background checks maybe they also distribute the documents to the appropriate department for checks then gather the findings to the primary VO to assess if the PA meets the study requirements ?? Well, sometimes they do eligibility review without updating it in MYCIC account but I've seen some application in this forum that doesn't stay 2 weeks and got refused in background checks Majority of applicants do pass their background checks, which can be attested from their GCMS NOTE after a visa refusal. It's very rare to see an applicant who failed this criminal inspection. Meanwhile, it's after the background checks by CBSA that the documents will then be sent to the visa officer's GCMS database for a complete review and a decision to be made on the application. In some cases, eligibility review might start without any update on the applicant's MyCIC account, this doesn't insinuates that the applicant failed their criminal checks, somewhat the blame at times goes to the unexpected system glitch which takes time for the update to be uploaded. Above all, there is no blueprint for this visa processing thingy as applicant's cases differs in spite of the fact that we try our best to gather precise details from successful applicant's timeline.

Submit the both bank statements in as much as there is funds in both accounts. Unfortunately, 3M is not sufficient enough to cover for your first year tuition and living expenses. Your sponsor (DAD) is expected to have 16,000CAD$ plus additional 10,000CAD$ for your first year living expenses and additional funds left for his dependents and personal welfare. |
