sillysassysally: Not much good news... Processing time is now 10 weeks from 9 weeks as at last week. It's getting closer to the peak period. I don't see the processing times decreasing again rather it would significantly increase as time goes on. The Canadian embassies have started receiving tonnes of applications from prospective applicants. I would advice applicants to start applying for their visas so as to be able to meet up with their resumption date. It's nice to be back again. Thanks to everyone (JustMellow, Bracha, Austacus, Qukdom and co...) that has been assisting in rendering selfless service to this thread during my absence. It shall end in praises. |

Questionner: This is not correct. I applied with a conditional offer letter and still got approved. The conditions i had to meet were just submission of original certificate and transcripts which is same for that in question. ify85: Yes I got approved with conditional offer. You need to address it in your SOP that you have applied to your university to send them your transcript. The moniker made it seem like I am passing a misleading information to the OP. The advices I render on this window are strictly from the wisdom of my experiences which I have enjoyed for over the years as an active member of this reputable platform which I believe many can attest to this. I don't do a guess work here . Every point I make are always backed up with adequate proof and relevant experiences from different applicants encounter which can be seen from these two successful applicants (Questionner and Ify85). I have seen several cases where applicants were approved of their visas with a conditional offer which indicated that their full acceptance into the program is pending until the receipt of their official transcripts. As I always say on this thread, mine is to advice you. Above all, it's your decision to make on whether to follow the advices or not. Nice job you're doing here @DMerciful. If not for anything, I respect your time and effort towards assisting others in securing their TRV. It shall end in praises for everyone here. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Frankrobbn1: 7:41pm On Apr 16, 2019 |
DMerciful: This is not the condition the op is asking. He is asking if you're given a conditional offer pending when they receive your official transcript and wants to know if you can apply with that conditional offer and I maintain it's a capital NO! Since the transcripts takes 2 months from now, the applicant can go ahead and apply for his Visa. During the course of processing the applicants visa, IRCC will request for the unconditional offer prior to the issuance of VISA. The applicant can as well send the unconditional offer once he has received it from the University. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Frankrobbn1: 7:19pm On Apr 16, 2019*. Modified: 10:22pm On Apr 16, 2019 |
DMerciful: You cannot use conditional offer letter, that's why it's conditional, admission is unconditional if you fulfill the conditions timely. Go to your school and get them to send your transcript expressly and if it means facilitating the process so be it! Are you insinuating that applicants with conditional offer letter can't be approved of their visas? Let me tell you why that suggestion is not right. IRCC clearly stated that applicants with conditional offer of acceptance can apply for their Visa provided that they can meet the conditions established on their acceptance letter. There are so many applicants who doesn't have strong academic background on their proposed program probably because they didn't study a course related program in their first degree, as a consequence the university issues them a conditional offer on the account that they must complete some prerequisite courses prior to their full acceptance into the main program. This has never pose to be a problem and majority of these applicants were approved because they have shown that the conditions can be met once they get into Canada. In summary, applicants with conditional offer can apply for their visa and will not face any issues at the Visa processing office. To support my claims, please see the attachment with this post from IRCC offical websiteI appreciate each and everyone of you who have volunteered in making this platform a productive one.

Asapant: Thank you for ur prompt response. For Online route how do one upload SOA for about 25 pages ? It's a very easy process!. 1-) First and foremost, Scan the 25pages of the bank statement in a JPEG format. 2-) Secondly, convert JPEG TO PDF..... 3-) Furthermore... MERGE THE PDF FILES into one PDF. 4-) Finally, use this BEST ONLINE COMPRESSOR.. to compress all documents to 4MB. This compressor works like magic and can compress 100 pages PDF to 4MB without altering it's quality. I made the process swift for you with the highlighted links. I hope you find it useful. peruz: Thanks for your response ,Please I would like to know your suggestion on this issue.Do you suggest medical should be submitted upfront or an applicant should wait till it's been requested of him/her?Does it make an difference if all documents that will be submitted are not red seal copy or is it compulsory they are red sealed? Basically, IRCC made us to believe that upfront medicals speeds up the processing of an application. However, when an applicant undergoes an upfront medical exam prior to their application submission, the foreseeability of securing the visa is 50/50 as you will be left for a decision to be communicated to you. On the contrary, when applicant is instructed to undertake a medical exam during visa processing, chances are 90/100 that he/she will be approved. At the end you're left with the decision to select which you feel would work for you. With respect to your last question, it doesn't make any difference or impact. All documents can be submitted without being on a red seal copy, provided that the documents bears an official stamp or signature. Good Luck! |

These visa officers can be so cruel most times. Please put yourself together, take a deep breath, never give up, restrategize and present a persuasive SOP that will justify your reasons to why you're heading for an upper degree in this recent application instead of the previous diploma you applied with in the past. Okattamgbee: Greetings boss,
After paying 235 CAD for visa application and biometric, do you still need to pay any fee at the vfs office for biometric? No, the 235CAD you paid during application submission is inclusive of the biometrics fees. Thus, you don't have to pay an additional fee for it at the VFS. |

peruz: Frankrobbn1,I wrote an sop relating agricultural science with environmental technology because I did some environmental courses and waste management during my undergraduate days.I related my nysc and final year research with it because it's all about dealing with environment and community. Is it compulsory to pay tuition before applying for a study permit? It's good to know you're making successive progress with your application. With regards to question, payment of tuition fees prior to visa application is not a prerequisite to visa approval. Having said that, if your school doesn't require you to pay an upfront tuition deposit before the start of term, you don't have to do that. Simply submit your application with other supporting documents and bank statements showing clearly that you've adequate funds to cover for the first year tuition and living expenses and the possibility of funding for subsequent years is attainable. |

I actually went to anifowoshe on Wednesday. The person I met just like me at first sight and he told me the secret then he prayed for me and wish me good luck. I may go back there and tell him thank you.
This visa suffered me. The day I did my biometrics, VAC was still working till 8 pm that day, I left home around 7 and left VAC 7 pm. I was sleeping on steering... I contacted more than 150 MPs (senators) in Canada then on Wednesday I gathered mind and drive straight to Anifowoshe.
