...as victims cry for public's support to secure better jobs

Barely few days after being declared winner of the July 16 Osun governorship election, Senator Ademola Adeleke and other members of his family have sacked 28 domestic staff working in their residence in Ede.

The affected workers who were reportedly receiving N15,000 stipend monthly were relieved of their job for demanding an increment in their pay.

According to sources close to the Adeleke's country home, the domestic workers were unjustly sacked after the family failed to fulfill the promise made to them regarding salary increment.

It was revealed that the sacked workers were assured of increment in their pay before the election with a false hope that once Ademola Adeleke wins, their stipends will be jerked, a pledge the Adeleke's dynasty has now failed to fulfill which led to the sack of the innocent workers who have been working with the family over 10 years ago.

Meanwhile, the workers have cried out loud to the members of the public and concerned individuals to come to their rescue regretting labouring for the family without tangible things to show for it.

You remind me of a guy, who is putting too much pressure on himself. Though I admire how hard he is working.

He was working in a place where he receive approx 80k monthly, within the 2 years of working period he started a small school, he hurriedly got married because he wanted someone to look over the business. Then, he a bought land and he is trying to erect a structure; the reason is he wants to relocate the school to a permanent site. Just before he resigned he bought a car(for Uber) on credit for 3.5 million and had to make a deposit of 180k which he borrowed as well.

I was with him last 2 weeks the calls from those he owes. Please, let's take it slowly.

Better days ahead bro. One thing I’ll say is don’t feel inferior because of clothes and gadgets.

I buried myself in a cave for most of my life due to Sapa, I didn’t go out, no one invited me to events and I wouldn’t have honored any because I felt I wasn’t good enough.

There are people with a lot less than what you have currently but they give out so much positive energy and are genuinely happy. I envy these guys, you’ll see the way they laugh and crack jokes and think they have everything good in the world.

You even get android, I almost don’t have any pictures from the past 9 years, since it was the small “palace” phone I kept managing.

I won’t lie nice clothes and gadgets are useful and are nice to have but don’t disconnect from everyone because you feel inferior. Even when money comes, the damage you’ll do to your mental health now might not be easy to fix.

Stay positive while you grind bro. Better days ahead.
