1. Love someone not because of who they are, but because of who you are when you are with them. 2. No man or woman is worth your tears, and the one who is, won’t make you cry. 3. Just because someone doesn’t love you the way you want them to, doesn’t mean they don’t love you with all they have. 4. A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart. 5. The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you can’t have them. 6. Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your smile. 7. To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world. 8. Don’t waste your time on someone who isn’t willing to waste their time on you. 9. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful. 10. Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened. 11. There’s always going to be people that hurt you so what you have to do is keep on trusting and just be more careful about who you trust next time around. 12. Make yourself a better person and know who you are before you try and know someone else and expect them to know you. 13. Don’t try so hard, the best things come when you least expect them to. Hope i communicate with somone! |

The more we grow, the more we learn. I guess life has taught us different lessons using different methods. I would just like us to share the lessons life has taught you. For me, life has taught me alot of lessons but guess what is on my mind now is that life is not fair.I have some personal experiences. Life is not fair and that is why you need favour from God.If no be GOD. Never expect life to be fair on you and that is why you need God or how can you explain some things happening today. The good people die,bad people live long. Some people can't afford 3 square meals, Some people have enough money for their 3 generations, Some people are born into wealthly families, Some people are poor into poor families. So many examples like that. But in all these HIS grace is sufficient for you So what lessons has life you has a person. |

I think you would all have an answer to my question after you finish reading this. HUSBANDS FOR SALE! A store that sells husbands has just opened in New York City , where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates. You may visit the store ONLY ONCE ! There are six floors and the attributes of the men increase as the shopper ascends the flights. There is, however, a catch . . , you may choose any man from a particular floor, or you may choose to go up a floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building! So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband . On the first floor the sign on the door reads: Floor 1 - These men have jobs and love the Lord. The second floor sign reads: Floor 2 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, and love kids. The third floor sign reads: Floor 3 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, and are extremely good looking. "Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going. She goes to the fourth floor and sign reads: Floor 4 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are drop- dead good looking and help with the housework. "Oh, mercy me!" she exclaims, "I can hardly stand it!" Still, she goes to the fifth floor and sign reads: Floor 5 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are drop- dead gorgeous, help with the housework, and have a strong romantic streak. She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor and the sign reads: Floor 6 - You are visitor 4,363,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please. Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store. Watch your step as you exit the building, and have a nice day! So what do you think? Can they really be satisfied? |

Nice one my2cents, your wildlife in your school reminds me of massacre in my secondary school. Then we enjoyed massacre so far we were the ones in the dinning hall . I really appreciate the contributions so far and must confess that in a way it really also depends on your location. Thanks poske. Abroad i have heard and read cases where individuals sold ideas to corporations and made good money. People sell concepts to advertising companies and the likes and make a fortune out of it. But also capital/money i think was someone's idea. In Nigeria things are really different and most people just want the money because the richest people now in Nigeria are mostly the peole without ideas but too much money. But Guess what? Things are going to change very soon. IDEAS WILL SOON RULE THE WORLD Bright ideas anyone? |

Thaat is a very brillant idea. So far you can stretch the payment plan and can work out a convenient payment plan. Why not also think about collecting post-dated cheques. Proper documentation should also be in place and make ensure you conduct a proper KYC know your customers on your clients. My brother does something like that 2 but its still on a small scale and for mainly friends and c0o-workers. Also ensure your friends have at least 2 guarantors. You need to do proper documentation. Would be glad to assist if its needed. Take charge, You will suceed |

Suzie was standing over her husbands deathbed, and as she held his hand her warm tears ran down her cheeks and splashed onto her sleeping husbands face. Her tears awakened him. "My darling Suzie " he began. "Hush my love" she said. "Ssssh, , go back to sleep dear " But he was insistent."Suzie" he said in his frail, tired voice. "I must talk, I must confess something to you" "Theres nothing to confess" said the weeping Suzie "It's ok. Everythings ok. Get some rest now. " "No no, I must die in peace my Suzie. I slept with your sister, your best friend and your mother." The heartbroken Suzie mustered a pained smile and stroked his hand. " hush now Jimmy, don’t torment yourself. I know all about it" she said. "Why do you think I poisoned you?" Haba Women! |

I Love You, The hardest three words to say For me, that is the hardest word to say for now. What is the hardest word to say for you guys. |
Each time America remembers this day, i wish Nigeria could also have like a form of remembrance for the people that lost their life in the Ikeja bomb blast. God bless Nigeria, God bless America, God bless the world, God bless us all |
Smartsoft i get what you are saying but of cuz am going to be myself. There is never going to be another me and that i know. But i get there is nothing wrong in having role models. Even great pastors talk about other great men of God before them . I have being in canaan land and Bishop Oyedepo spoke about Kenneth Haggins and Dr Oral Roberts. I can never be Warren Buffet but would always be my humble self but he is like a role-model to me. Great men read the autobiograhies of other great men. Its also very good to act fast on your ideas cuz in a country of over 150 million people there could be lot of other people with the same ideas. God those not take us year by year or month by month. But he takes us day by day, step by step. I appreciate the contributions so far You will succeed So Take Charge |

Let me analysis the concept of investment clubs An investment club is an association of like minded investors and business owners who share similar investment objectives. What usually brings members together is the consumer desire to achieve some level of independence in financial matters. Their monetary contributions every month form a common pool that is invested and managed on their behalf by a professional investment manager or by one of the members. Some clubs are trained on how to select stocks on their own without relying on stockbrokers or any investment analyst. So sometimes members of the clubs decide collectively on the stocks 2buy or atimes it is left in the hands of the professional investment manager or the approved member manager Members expect good returns on their joint investments.Usually, at least two-thirds of a club’s members need to be present to vote on an investment, and a vote of 50 percent or more results in a “yes” for the investment. Investment clubs serve as a terrific way for those new to investing to learn more about it in a friendly group setting. Many people are terrified of taking their first investment steps and clubs make this relatively easy, as members contribute modest sums and invest carefully together after deliberating over the pros and cons of any action. The structure of a club makes it suitable for long term investments because most clubs holds equity. Research shows that equity investments may fluctuate over a short period but on the long-term they appreciate. Investment clubs enable investors to meet their medium and long-term goals, therefore if you invest in a club for the short term you may not realize the full benefit of having invested. Benefits of joining an investment club Investment clubbing is one of the most practical ways to build wealth with careful planning. The beauty of it is that joining an investment club does not require any knowledge of investment. Investment clubs consist of members from diverse backgrounds: housewives, students, medical doctors, traders, journalists, bankers, pastors, footballers, musicians, nairaland users etc. Most of them had little or no experience before joining the club but in no time they are in a position to analyze stocks on their own and are able to take sound investment decisions. All you need is an interest and willingness to learn. Investment clubs invest in shares as a matter of initial strategy. With time and more financial muscle at their disposal, investment clubs can veer into a variety of investment vehicles. Some clubs after two years diversify their investment into real estate and sometimes into business. Really, a club is like a company, which can have its own investment policy. A club can grow as fast as the members want it to growSome of these are the advantages that an investment club has over other investment schemes like a mutual fund or a cooperative society otherwise known as esusu in Nigeria. The way the club works is that members of an investment club are assigned to research particular companies for few hours within a month and come together to vote on the companies they want to invest their money in. The selection process is democratic as members are expected to justify their selections. Successful clubs also have members who are committed to researching and studying the stocks they want to invest in. They understand that they cannot purchase a stock without a complete study. Successful clubs also consist of members who have access to computer and/or online resources. Usually successful clubs are made of either friends or individuals who enjoy one another’s company and enjoy communicating in meetings. Starting an investment club very soon. So what out! Interested or have anyother questions about investment clubs then holla me @ ideas4u@fastermail.com |
Sometimes i just think which is more important. Some times people have very good ideas but have little or no capital. While some people have all the capital and yet no idea. Which do you think is more important. To those that have capital and no idea. Pray and think hard for good ideas and if still no idea, then finance people that have good ideas. Partner with them and be co-owner of the business. For those that have the ideas but with little or no capital? Try and break the ideas into smaller components and take it bits by bits. And then take it bit by bit. Let me illustrate with my example:
[li]I have a dream to own a big investment Corporation and be the next Warren Buffet.Inshort a business empire. But at first it seemed very impossible. So i also used the method above. Started by collecting money from friends and family members using good will and investing their money for them.Gave them at a fixed interest rate. Later i pay them the agreed some @ the agreed time. I have been doing this for a while with a friend and a partner that shares the same vision with me. Step by step but slowly and surely. That has being ok, just made sure we never defaulted and ensured investors funds was safe. Atimes we never even made money but we still went on. Next step. We have been conducting studies on investment clubs and hopefully if everything is set will launch it soon. Gradually you know that you are taking a step closer to your dream and the vision gets clearer day by day[/li]
Why am i saying all these. Just to say that its good to dream big but ensure you break those dreams into very small bits and start taking a step and bit @ a time. And gradually you gain the experience and stamina to achieve the big picture. Hope I communicated something to someone. Wish you all the best in nairaland because i believe you guys are lovely people. Take care all and see you all @ the top. And remember i said this am the next Warren Buffet by the God's grace.Never forget the place of God because without him we are nothing. So God has 2 remain number 1 in your plans. Nairalanders back to my question. Which is more important. Ideas or Capital? |
