odumchi: I've been living in the US for some time now and I've developed two accents for myself: a Nigerian, and an American.I hear you on the switching thing it's all about being flexible!! |

Gogobiri Lalas: They just permitted Agbero drivers into their Country....by the way, these Countries make a lot of money from traffic offences, so maybe its another money making scheme, can you imagine how much a Nigerian driver in USA will be paying in fines? I currently live in LA and i can tell you i try as much as possible not to drive, my Nigerian driver's instinct is way too deep, i no wan pay fine or worse drop soap for jaillol...coming from MD where we kinda give some space to a car ahead of you in traffic I find driving in LA very scary. Everyone is bumper to bumper I no wan risk driving stick shift over there I will keep rolling back and knocking cars behind me on any steep road traffic offences will knock me left and right over there |
yay!! Queensmith you love Yoruba movies too? recently watched "Owu" was good...I know what you mean with Opa Kan watched it a while ago. |
shymmex: Slag, I had to call you out on your stupidity because I've the same background as the people you spewed crap about...and you think by calling me out with verbal insults will make a difference? Are insults your best tool of communication? or is that the only language you know and understand??. It's extremely Ironic that in your posts you preach a lot about oppression, racism and then instead of coming here and having a good argument you lash out and throw insults anyhow!! I won't stoop down to your level!! Anything negative you've said to me should come back thousand fold right back at you!!. Take a chill pill and remember you can NEVER EVER CARRY NIGERIA on your shoulders!! that's just too many folk for you to handle! |
jennykadry: Serubobo spill the news before I vex and leave this thread for goodNo vexing lol...let's wait and hear |
serubawon: My kids love her. She has a daughter also and I see her as my own child. That is one thing that I never thought was possible. The 3 kids are practically inseparable. Its a nice story that actually brings this whole episode to a nice respectable end. My family love her and she's just a wonderful person. I'll spill the beans very soon, I just had to let everyone know that my prayers have been answered and a new chapter is about to begin in my life. The Good Lord is faithful to the end!!! Mr Serubawon I'm waiting to hear the FULL Gist when you feel up to it....no leaving out comma, fullstop or exclamation mark lol....we're all going to celebrate with you get ready to print out enough invitation cards. It's a beautiful thing to hear that your kids love each other and you and this special lady love each other's children.WOW!!! it can't get better than this...It has surely being worth the wait |
RIP To Mrs Okoye so sorry you had to go so soon...may your children get the strength, comfort and consolation they need at this time |
Sorry don't know how to download a video here but this poor black boy got a beat down for wearing those skinny jeans or do they suspect he's gay?? http://www.spifftv.com/video.php?id=5132 |
Time to do a test... are there any reasons to worry if there isn't anybody on paternal or maternal side of the family with SS? |
Giving mixed signals is an action or better said a communication tool on it's own.The person in question is unsure about something and most probably doesn't want to come out and say it with his or her mouth. The whole business sucks or should I say being a grown up sucks sometimes...if you say something it might hurt the other person's feelings if you don't they still get hurt but they are wondering what could be going on. It's a no win situation/catch 22 |
nagoma: It is a fair assumption. Nigerians are by far the greatest black offenders and antisocial elements who always want to break rules. I would do the same if I was the Austrian government or the Nigerian ambassador.we need to change our attitude if we want to be considered with some respect and seriousness.other western countries should apply the same method.Hmmmmm.... They are not the friendliest of folk anyway Good or bad behavior they have already stereotyped Africans as bad people without getting to know an individual walking down the street might be a good person |
Would it be just plain ignorance of the Austrian govt to assume every black person walking on the streets of Vienna or anywhere in Austria is Nigerian?? Something doesn't sound right here |
This is a sad situation but unfortunately not a new occurrence in our community.I'm just wondering what kind of father this man has being to his children,I mean ALL 4 kids ganged up against him?. I was expecting at least one or two of the children to try and add some sense or reason with him about some of the poor choices he has made or even talk to him about the reasons behind what he is doing, surprisingly none of them did instead they all openly disrespected him. Maybe people didn't see this but the marriage might not have been a solid one to begin with. Why on God's green earth would a senior citizen suddenly leave the woman he has spend years and gone through the ups and downs of life with and then get a younger woman as a new companion? ![]() |
awwww look at the baby lol....I hope the tiny feet didn't hurt |
Freiburger: and that dream should be opened to every one and not limited to Nigerians on a long term as you may claim. You may have misunderstood me there...first BUILD a home team,GAIN a reputation,KEEP the reputation and let the sky be the limit for players.Bottom line is Nigeria would be seen as one of the teams any professional athlete, high ranking player or MVP would like to play for.Nigeria is the BRAND here! Out of curiosity did the US based players have an option to play for Team USA in the Olympics? |
Freiburger: Sorry i can't get you.Just like the NBA it should also be a dream to play for the Tigers someday through reputation ![]() |
Freiburger: and what is your aim of trying to build a team that will be free of non-Nigerian on a long term? The aim is not to be non-Nigerian as you put it but to be the best at what they do.So that it shall be an honor to play for team tigers.Every boy anywhere in the world who is basketball crazy has a dream of playing for the NBA because they are in the big league...what?? you don't have any faith in your country and think they can do it someday? |
Freiburger: and what is wrong in recruiting non-Nigerians as part of the effort of having a sound team?look at it long term get the best skills temporarily as you build your own team. SuyaEater: Who cares where they were born if they feel nigerian at heart then big props to them, America stole our greatest export hakeem olajuwon so boohoo.why do you say stole? don't tell me it wasn't music to your ears when he added Naija to the map once more...I know it brought a smile to my face every time I heard his name pronounced and people saying he's Nigerian so you can imagine if the Naija team had 10 Hakeem Olajuwon's |

just saw it a few minutes ago
