Fashion › Re: Do You Feel Comfortable Wearing Trunks And Bikini At Beach? by Frostyzone(m): 3:49pm On Jan 01, 2013
Whenever I do pay a visit to the beach - which is very rare, seeing that I don't live in a beach town - one thing always grab my attention.
The ladies mostly wear granny kind of bikinis that leave absolutely nothing to fantazise about to the imagination.
In tv commercials, the beach is like this garden of Eden with scantily clad Eves lazing around under the sun, but in real life, it's full of insecure chicks and grunts hiding their bodies, and yet trying very hard to belong, all at the same time!

kandiikane: Oh yeah, abi, suits are originally from Africa?

I'm telling you go do your damn research. Extentions have been used by our ancestors waaaay before the white man arrived. It's also done in a trendy but original manner. wink
You completely misunderstood me. I wasn't implying that it's wrong to look chic and trendy in a westernized fashion, but rather in so doing one shouldn't forget his heritage/African values.
Some of our folks go to extreme measures to imitate the white race, thereby completely neutralizing their identity.
On the subject of extensions, our ancestor might have utilise some, but it was in the form of mere thread fibers, rather than the hair-like fibers favoured by our ladies of nowadays.
So logically speaking, it's not the same thing.
You were right on one thing though. When they do plait their hairs, they do so in an original but trendy manner.

See what I meant? Already with the finger pointing. You unwittingly proved my point.
I deliberately baited you, and you falled for it hook, line and sinker.
Why did you assumed that because I attacked your religion, that it made me an automatic Christian?
Are your lot insecure of your faiths that much?
FYI, I'm an atheist, and thanks to you I just won a bet! Lol!!

Affiliated: The subject was evolution or changes in animals over time. And I said the very first animal life form that didn't change from anything prior to it but was a result of pure energy couldnt have evolved from something before it.
Everything is still a result of pure energy though
About the energy part, energy doesn't come from nothing. Energy is all there is, all there has been and all there will be. What we think is nothing is energy. What we know as something is energy. Everything is energy
Let's see;
Part of The Law of Attraction, states that all living beings are energy.
The Law of Conservation of Mass states that energy cannot be created nor destroyed.
~So basically, you are correct.

unphilaz: This will be for all ages to be able to prove(see) evolution LIVE! Until then its an unproven Assumption. And there was this film i watched, it stated "ASSUMPTION IS THE MOTHER OF ALL F.U.RKUP!

An mind you assuming has never assured of safety...
I detest blind arguments. I hereby rest my case.
Christianity Etc › Re: Atheists Please Tell Me by Frostyzone(m): 1:03pm On Dec 29, 2012
unphilaz: have you seen the first big b.ang!!!
You wouldn't be asking this question if you are conversant with Chemistry and Physics. Anything under the na.ked eyes is possible, amigo.

unphilaz: Hoping that the unproven assumption will be proven as theory. but until then its an unproven assumption!!!
That's what makes it a theory and differentiate it from the religious myths floating around.

unphilaz: granted, Yes we can SEE the aeroplane. 1st concept =>theory => reality. But for how long must we wait for the unproven assumption to change to theory before we SEE it with our naked eyes?
Science requires Patience and Commitment. Take for example, you planted a Mango seed at the back of your house. Would you leave it at that? Of course not! You need to continually tend to it for atleast the minimum of 3 years, to finally reap the fruit of your labor.
A similar Scenario applies to science;A continuous unwavering effort to turn a theory into fact.
Like the saying goes---Rome wasn't built in a day, after all.

hisblud: 1. is energy = nothing?
2. About faith, I like that, but its unfortunate some atheist assume they solely live by reasoning when in actual sense, they ALSO live by faith even if its not in the Unseen God but in an unseen theory!
First and foremost, there is nothing like an unseen theory.
Allow me to explain why, starting with the definition;
A hypothesis assumed for the sake of
argument or investigation

Which in other words meant unproven assumption, right?
But it doesn't end there. Infact it's an ongoing process. It doesn't tolerate faith, because it doesn't need to. That's the beauty of science.
Eventually the theory will transformed into facts. That's how aeroplane came be, among other seemingly impossible achievements.
At first, it was a concept, then a theory before it finally became a reality.
Bottom line:Real atheists like myself doesn't need faith when theories are there to guide and motivate us to seek the truth about everything and then improve them for the whole world to comprehend.

kokoa2008: That is not only the case in Nigeria it is like that here in the states as well. A lot of women are now embracing their natural hair like myself. I love natural hair it's healthier and fun to experiment and if I want it straight I just pull out the flat iron. I think more black women should show off what the lord gave us... Black women are beautiful and the sooner we realize it the better. God blessed us with full hips, lips, thick hair, beautiful skin, and shapes that put a coke bottle to shame. We are beautiful every part of us!
Well said, my sister.
Regardless. Thw key to an invasion/assimilation is to ensure they take over with minimum hassle. The logical way to do such would be to expose oneself minimally. The way they go about things I would assume they are not that intelligent.
You would have to catch them first to prove that they are here at all, not just a figment of over hyper imagination.
And last time I checked, no such luck. So maybe they are smarter than you give them credit for.
Yeah.. but the problem is they are not hidden. Even the abrahamic god has done a bettet job of hiding than they have.

If they wanted to invade, there are a gazillion strategies to employ without exposing themselves.
You think like a human, which you are. But they ain't. Maybe, by observing us, they are learning our ways, the way we think, etc.
And maybe the definition of invasion to them is slightly different from ours.
Maybe their own version of invasion is more like assimilation.
There are many possibilities pal, many possibilities.
I dont buy it. A lot of ppl claim to have had spiritual visitations too.

If these aliens exist and have come to earth... what for? Why kidnap and ana.lly probe farmers? Everything about is available free without the need to risk allowing themselves to be noticed.
Sound fantastic, doesn't it? But if alien life forms should decide to invade earth tomorrow, they would like to know our resistance capability first, right?
That's where scouts come into the picture.
And what is one quality of a scout/spy; Remain hidden while you observe your enemy.
