Politics › Re: Biafra: EU Parliament Calls For The Immediate Release Of Nnamdi Kanu by fulanimafia: 7:34pm On Oct 04, 2016
Why did she not read the part of the constitution which pertains to treason? The rights of Nnamdi Kanu end where the rights of innocent Nigerians start, he cannot claim freedom of expression when his expression is to threaten the lives and peaceful existence of other innocent Nigerians while calling for arms against the Nigerian state.

Nigeria remains a sovereign state and not subject to foreign interference so the MP's submission remains what it is; an opinion.

If the laws of federation specify what constitutes treason and Nnamdi Kanu is liable for it, then he should be punished accordingly or released if found to be innocent.

Nobody has sidelined Jagaban. From FFK to Aribasala to nairaland resident flatrons, all the suckers walloped by Tinubu and Buhari's hurricane which swept away their corrupt hero are now desperately trying to create an impression of disharmony between the President and Tinubu grin

All the antics of mischievous PDP agents desperate to have the political enigma in their camp and puncture the undefeatable North-SW alliance will remain what they are; weightless wails destined for the dustbins of cyberspace and akara sellers.

The naysayers and wailers of this administration will continue to gnash their teeth in disappointment as the President pulls our dear country out of this economic dungeon.

In 2019, the President will be re-elected based solely on his PERFORMANCE, which is why all the current permutations are laughable rubbish.

MONITZ:
Politics is all about interests,so if he thought his interests would be taken care of by the amalgamation of the parties then he shouldn't complain now that he has been out-schemed.

And which contract re u referring to and is the country any better now ? Is the looting that the opposition are wont to always point out as a flaw of the last administration still not happening now albeit secretly.
He has not been out-schemed and his interests are still being WELL taken care of by the strategic alliance. Tinubu still has a warchest of appointees as the Vice-President is from his camp as well as several other ministers and HOA's including the FIRS chief, added to his Lagos state etc., which essentially implies that Jagaban remains a powerful player in the APC and the larger political space, who has benefited and continues to benefit immensely from his defeat of the corrupt and inept Jonathan and role in enthroning the current government of the land.

The contract I was referring to is the one which you apparently assume exists, that requires Tinubu to be loyal to a southern Presidential candidate as against a Northern one, especially when that southern one is an irredeemably corrupt, weak, incompetent and clueless President that set Nigeria on the path of this recession and was on the way to looting the entire country to its destruction.

MONITZ:
They re planning to borrow to fund our budget,so Wat happens to the monies realised from scrapping fuel subsidy, nobody is even saying a thing abt that money nor asking questions because they think everyone is a "zombie"

Is it still not obvious to u yet that so many obstacles were thrown in the way of the last administration with intent to discredit and embarrass it? a very good example is the "Chibok girls and Boko haram" scourge, more than a year into the life of this administration the girls re yet to still be found and with very slim hope of ever seeing the girls again because nobody and I mean no school girl got missing in the first place, and with a particular northern governor regaling us with tales of the girls being in underground bunkers, what a load of bunkum!,wat an irresponsible statement for a leader to make ?If u know where they re then y ve our security forces not stormed the place?Hmmm,i guess "oga presido" now knows that ; uneasy lies the head that wears the crown, always easier said than done for on-lookers or passers-by. It is glaring that he has nothing to offer, he is as confused as the citizenry too with his one-step forward and four-steps backward policies.
The jokes write themselves on this forum. The girls never went missing? So in your mind all the visuals of the captured girls and the global support for their recovery were all what? Is the agitation for their release is still not ongoing and still an embarrassment and distraction to this government? Who then is more confused than the person that says the Chibok case was political and meant to spite Jonathan?

MONITZ:
He cane with no concrete plans or blue-print on how to turn things around esp as he had contested severally and lost in the past ,he only cane to fulfil a long time ambition of becoming president once more before he takes his final bow.

Would any of ur ilks in the north ve treated Jagaban this way if he was one of u? Spare me the crap on how his current debacle has won him more loyalists in the north because the north care abt no one else other than themselves. Truthfully like he said, he was just used as a vehicle to get to their destinations and having achieved that aim they now feel it's time they did away with him. .

Continue living in denial that Jagaban is still the leader of the party, of Wat use is a general without the paraphernalia of war. My dear Jagaban knows better that the party structure is gradually being taken away from him and his influence is being whittled down and these were the reasons for his recent outburst.

If u had said he is a fighter and strategist and probably has some tricks up his sleeves then I would understand and not that ur wishy-washy write-up.
General Buhari came at a divinely appointed time to rescue Nigeria from the total destruction that was assured if the looting spree that was the hallmark of the previous ogogoro administration had continued while the oil price sank and foreign reserves were being emptied amidst a mono economy, and he is putting in a sincere effort with Tinubu's full support so you can save all that hogwash for the gutter.

He erred big time teaming up with northerners to wrestle power from the president then because he ought to ve known that things may eventually turn our this way given the many experiences notable Yoruba men had in the "hands " of northerners who can't nd will never be loyal to anyone else other than to a fellow northerner like himself.
Are you suggesting that Tinubu should have allowed this country to be looted to destruction because of a phantom southern loyalty?

Where is the southern contract that was violated?

@ relegation: Yes the APC now accommodates more interests than what subsisted when he was in his regional ACN, but to suggest that the North has any agenda against Jagaban (a title given to him by the North) is a lie from the pit of hell and only exists in the imaginations of the relegated Jonathanians.

Wrong. Tinubu remains a General in the APC, which is a party jointly controlled by the North and the West; he cannot be relegated with the support he enjoys from both regions.

Thanks! You see, it's quite interesting to see how a whole 90% of a people are so disposed to emotions and sentiments. Engage anyone of them in a discussion and before you know it, they are already foaming in the mouth because of Buhari.

I can remember long ago I think in 2012 that I engaged in a political discussion with a lady (from the haters of PMB) and suggested that Nigeria should give Buhari a chance in 2015, I was amazed at her reaction. She was just raking and raking that infact that the "Buhari will die before 2015".

I could not even talk, as I never imagined such level of hatred from such a cute lady. It's really saddening. And calls for research.
Their hatred is unfortunately yet laughably a waste of emotion because iPods have found a perfect match in PMB cheesy

The way he ignores their shenanigans is enough to make an onion cry. He seems even more fueled by their hatred than they are pained at his aloofness at their plight. It's now to the degree that they feel they have to hide behind Ijaw criminals and support their sabotage for their frustration to have any relevance in the Presidency. Pathetic.

Regardless of their antics, PMB will continue to lead Nigeria to greatness after pulling us out of this economic dungeon built by 16 years of failed PDP leadership and gated by the tenure of the corrupt and incompetent Jogogoro.

agabusta:
The yorubas are patient and and not led by arrogant hastiness.

They supported him and will patiently assess him at the end of his tenure. And not a year into his administration. They are more academic than that.

I can vividly remember when Buhari just came in and the bombing activities of boko haram was on the increase, radio stations' call-in programs were bombarded by people wishing the country doom, they were all over abusing and laughing at Buhari claiming he was incompetent to end boko despite promising to do so.

A good number of them even turned liars claiming Buhari said he'll end boko haram in 2 weeks, some said 2 months, others 4months just to justify their unreasonable criticism of him.

A lot of patient people held their peace. And after a while the Buhari led FG was able to curtail the bombing spree and also succeeded in cutting boko haram to size. In the end, the patient quiet observers saw the result, d ticked that.

Till date, those unreasonable critiques have still not deemed it fit to commend PMB for successfully destabilising boko haram. When it suits their evil propanganda, they will say he is incompetent in achieving victory over boko haram, later when they see him succeeding, these evil people will then claim again that he is succeeding because he himself is boko haram; what a confused set of hate-filled beings. May their wailing continue.

Now enter the economic recession and inflation. They are all over again, on radio call-in programs, social media, print media, etc. Abusing Buhari and calling him incompetent. Their brain has refused to acknowledge that the economy was already spiralling downwards before the man took over.

Their brain equally failed to process the fact that a country cannot be taken out of recession in 1/2 months; and that other oil giants like Venezuela, Qatar, Russia and others are also facing a recession. And in addition to the global problem, Nigeria is facing disruptions by corrupt renegades in the Niger Delta masking as freedom fighters.

Reasonable and intelligent people don't run into conclusion by the prevailing circumstances. The yorubas have demonstrated civility and intelligence in their current disposition to Buhari. It is at the end of his tenure who is right will be obvious, not at the middle.
I would just end up repeating this post if I type the epistle I had planned, because you have said all that's needed to be said on this issue.

In a nutshell, Yorubas are smarter and less disposed to politics of emotion than the heartbroken iPods. Only those either ravaged by ethno religious sentiments or plagued with an intellectual handicap will be blind to what caused this present situation and the sincere efforts being put in by the President and his team to pull us out of this downward spiral.

At the end of the day, the SW stands to be the greatest southern beneficiary of this government as evidenced by the numerous federal projects and concessions all over the region, thus, I'd say the support of the Yoruba nation is well placed.
Politics › Re: Buhari Is A Man On Assignments - Tinubu by fulanimafia: 5:20am On Oct 04, 2016
Coming from the indisputable Generalissimo of southern politics and indispensable leader of the APC, this statement is quite reassuring.

It was soothing to watch Tinubu at the book launch yesterday and listen to the nice words of praise and adulation he had for the President, which clearly indicates that the winning strategic alliance is growing even stronger, contrary to the narrative being peddled by naysayers.

From experience I have learnt that disagreements are a potent ingredient for closer relationships particularly among friends, and Oyeguns infraction will ironically unite the party even more as they join hands to sort out the misunderstanding that unfortunately cropped up. In the North, the injustice perpetrated by Oyegun has been roundly condemned and the support for Tinubu is stronger than ever so this might be a blessing in disguise for the Jagaban of Borgu kingdom.

God bless Tinubu, the grandmaster of southern politics and God bless Nigeria, the awakening giant.
