Nigeria is already prevailing without you hateful lots, wake up and smell the coffee. The person building Africa's biggest refinery which will greatly emancipate the country from its economic doldrums is not Igbo, neither is the project in Iboland.

I also perceive that you imagine I harbour a personal dislike for Ibos, which couldn't be farther than the truth. My beloved is Igbo, a good number of my friends are Igbo, even my own mum is from the ND.

If only the majority of sensible ones amongst you would be the most vocal, you would not be in this mess that your hatefulness, arrogance and intolerance has thrown you into. There are thousands of your kinsmen thriving under Buhari and I'm obviously more aware of this fact than you are. Unfortunately, you always like to play the victim and pretend everyone hates you; why for goodness sake would I not want your region to thrive? What does it take away from me or my region? Gosh.

But make no mistake, you cannot avoid Karma or reap diamonds where you sowed pebbles. You cannot change your current political fortune by being obstinate and arrogant. Blackmail will only destroy and not build you.
CHIJIOKE1314:
'Nigeria will prevail'
You highlighted this as if I'm not NIGERIAN and don't wish she prevails.. What is hard to grasp is your wickedness at wanting other same NIGERIANS not to prevail. .

FYI Nigeria can NEVER prevail without Igbos(quote me anyday)

Igbos are happiest when other regions progresses. .same can't be said for you.
Igbos are happiest at the announcement of discovery of crude in Lagos or Chad Basin or even in Kano so maybe you could start concentrating on yourselves more and leave us be in this myriad of hate and vindictiveness. .

So please PREVIAL!!

Please don't stop blowing up the pipelines in your areas.

Destroy your environment.

In roughly 3years time Buhari will be back in Daura Katsina where the air is clean and fresh and the land is fertile.

Soon Nigeria will start producing crude from the Chad basin and refining in Dangote's refinery in Lagos.

The ultimate losers will be you as your able bodied men and women desert your communities because of lack of sustenance and flood the west and North to take up menial jobs like househelp, gatekeeper, shoe shiners etc.
Their myopia is just amazing. And for some strange reason, they seem to think we want them to stop bombing at this point.

And what should I blame your assumption that I'm Muslim and BH supporter on?

Your familiarity, infusion and intoxication with stone age bigotry induced myopia, religious intolerance and ignorance of our national diversity?

You have no choice but to contribute positively to this administration or turn your region into a terror heartland (word on the street is that militants already control 2 LGA's a la BH fashion) and your violence will effectively be curtailed. That's our resolve and let that sink in.

Swerve.

Yet you wonder why you are absent at National Security meetings

All terrorists and blackmailers of Nigeria will be dealt with and that's our resolve.

Modath is a Yoruba nationalist and loyal PMB supporter who put in a lot to campaign for this Presidency, and she puts her loyalty to her ethnic identity before anything else; so I fully understand her current disposition which is why I have deliberately avoided trading words or responding to her rejoinders. Her position is justified and I share in her frustration of PMB's reluctance to involve the West more significantly in this administration.

You on the other hand, are rooted in hypocrisy because you consciously refuse to acknowledge the Easternocracy which reigned for 6 years under Jonathan, but now elect to pontificate and seek equity as the tables have turned.

CHIJIOKE1314:
'Kilode ma?' says how surprised you are at Modath 's comment.. I expected that of her since she changed and became through Nigerian and rid herself of tribal, political and sectional sentiments. Don't you know this?..

That comment is premised on his leaving some states out of the ambassadorial appointments citing lack of qualifications. My life and every had hitherto revolved around the north, until late last year when an assignment brought me to Anambra. I know my people's tendencies, strengths and weaknesses, and shall never shy away speaking the truth at any point until such pressing issues are addressed. Such acts would have been met with widespread condemnation in the north were the acts perpetrated by say, GEJ.

It's worth realising that certain decisions are outrightly indefensible.
While two wrongs don't make a right...

[quote author=fulanimafia post=
Truth be told, the appointments are skewed in the North's favour; but another truism is that it is one of the spoils of political dominance. We saw the exact same thing under GEJ when the South overwhelmingly occupied the juiciest posts. We can not also discount the behavior of the SE during the election campaigns where it systematically and myopically excluded itself from the ruling party. The few that were involved are now well represented in this government (Ngige, Onu et al.) The South West is also well represented and its clear for all to see.

P.S: The 'North' is made up of 3 regions, North Central, North West and North East so quit the deception in presenting it as 1 region.

fulanimafia, while we don't want pmb to submit his government to an unrepentant hate filled enemies despite the incessant attacks to attract the attention of President and learning from the near defeat Obama suffered while seeking 2nd term, I think the president needs to be a little more sensitive. Truth is that President still enjoy huge followership in some these places that do not ipob philosophies n we can't push away . I give you an example: If Amaechi had allowed us reply ipobs Rivers violence for violence many of you would have realised the huge APC fan base that Rivers has. Would you have believed that a sitting governor an immediate president with all d ' PDP is south south' would found it difficult to win a gubernatorial election Silva being the force they were struggling with o? Or you think PMB had wanted these places ,he wouldn't have gotten them? I swear Wike didn't believe he would survive until the supreme court actually gave him a lifeline. All I'm saying is that I want the president to bring some of our guys before we loose to the other side. But you be shege yaro sha!
True that. I would also love PMB to be more inclusive in future appointments, but the hatred and politics of exclusion played (and is still being played)by the SE does not help matters. I continue to emphasize that those from the region that did not subscribe to the 'amala and tuwo party' school of thought are well represented in this administration.

Regarding the SW, if wishes were horses, all further appointments should come from that region and the SS.

All due respect, sir, you've got to draw a line in the sand between support and barefaced lying. That statement is as crooked as a dog's hind leg.

Buhari seems to have lost his marbles since becoming president. I am resident in the east and can confirm to you that Buhari still has a reasonable amount of support to this day. Good people from whom he can appoint. Not to mention the neutrals.
That's an opinion. President Buhari is vindictive no doubt, but politics is not a tea party either. Of course I am aware Buhari has a sprinkling of support in the SE, which is why we have the likes of Rochas, Onu, Ngige et al. serving in this government. Ask yourself what those names have in common, and you will agree with me that they are the ones who did not myopically and sentimentally reject the current ruling party while it sought for power. How do you expect a conservative man like PMB to appoint people who are hell-bent on ensuring his government fails and are more interested in secession; is that not a willfull invitation to sabotage?

malton:
People have a right to association. A leader brazenly isolating a particular section of the country like Buhari is doing is a recipe for disaster. He is setting a bad precedence.

What should matter is that he's now the president of all, and should act like it.
Absolutely, Rochas, Ngige et al. exercised that right despite multi-faceted attacks on them from their people, and are key functionaries in this government. This is why in my initial comment, I emphasized that the SE, by voting as a bloc amidst a bitter, personal, dirty, sentimental, bigotry-filled and intolerant campaign of hatred; systematically and effectively excluded themselves of being significant players in this government. Needless to say, that the campaign of hatred has not stopped, and is bound to further alienate both parties. In the light of this, your above submission lacks merit sir.

malton:
Granted, he's isolating the Igbos because they did vote against him. What reason have you made out for his leaving out the Yorubas and other southerners who voted overwhelmingly for him in the scheme of things? How much rewards have they had?

But then, you can't use yesterday's thinking in today's world. The man is behind the times in a lot of aspects. I hope you and those in support of this travesty of equity and fairness can take the heat when it eventually turns on you, and no innocent blood will be shed as a result.

Life is turn by turn.

By the way, I am a northerner through and through, born and raised. I just like to call out a spade for what it really is. Can't met out a treatment I cannot take on others. Nobody should be thought of as less specialised in anything. At least, not while they boast even more qualifications.
AtlanticBreeze:
What of the westerners... Where are they in this government?
Thats not true, Yorubas are well represented in this government from the MDA's to the Armed Forces (Chief of Defence Staff), including the only 'Super ministry' headed by Babatunde Fashola and the FIRS headed by Tunde Fowler which is only second to the NNPC in economic relevance. With regard to northern dominance in the security circles, that's obviously strategic especially considering the fact that PMB survived a coup which ended his last administration. You really can't blame the old man.

Finally regarding qualifications, which of PMB's appointees has fallen short in that regard? Your baseless conclusion is uncalled for because it lacks substance and smacks of immodesty, which is deeply uncharacteristic of someone who claims to be a northerner 'through and through'.
