Why should I not rejoice? Na so e pain you reach ?Your answer, is the same people that are still operating in an Ijaw Terrorists stronghold despite constant bombing of their facilities and kidnapping of their workers, are the ones that will invest heavily in the much safer and less pugnacious NE. BH have been decimated to a guerrilla bomb and run group like the militants, and in no time will be completely eliminated to the chagrin of you terror supporters in the South. Just watch and learn (and keep bombing the IOC's out of the ND into safer regions). temptnow: |
Lol you ain't going nowhere even if we strike diamonds. You are only succeeding in making yourselves irrelevant while destroying your regions ecosystem and economic future. Your karma is already loading. truthspeaks: |
Why are you so pained though ?And which completed project today did not have a planning stage? My friend reroute your frustration away from this direction. truthspeaks: |
danyel09:Where? In Katsina? We'd love to see them try ![]() |
Dangote gas plant, oil prospecting in the North and oil production in the SW, and now a 75MW solar plant in Katsina? The scAvengers and their apologists are in for a rude shock ![]() |
Has he finally lost confidence in his body guards? The wicked runneth when no one pursueth. Stop running from your shadow and do the right thing. Sinator Extraordinaire. |
Finally this huge national asset we possess is being revived, and in a few years we would resume our export of steel and other allied products. Ajaokuta Steel Plant is a testament of the various failed administration's we have been plagued with, particularly the last one which had so much money (which it senselessly looted) due to the cash windfall from the oil price boom, that it failed to recognize the need to resolve the Ajaokuta crisis thereby helping Nigeria to prepare for the rainy days we are experiencing today. This is a step in the right direction considering the focus of this administration in restoring Nigeria's exporting country status which will earn us the much needed forex that will further strengthen the Naira; and a continuation of the government's efforts to diversify the economy as promised. With the exploration of oil in Lake Chad scheduled to commence soon, the current production of oil in the SW, the building of Dangote's mega refinery and petrochemical plant, and renewed aggressive focus on agriculture in core northern states, the 'awa oyel' criers are in a for a rude shock very soon. Kudos to the current administration, as the change we seek is now evident and our glory days are approaching. God bless Nigeria. |
niyot124:Your bigotry stinks, and your generalization betrays the level of your intelligence. What do you know about the generality of the herdsmen? What do you know about the Hausa Fulani? Are all ibos maneaters because of the few cannibals among them? Are they all backward because of the granny rapists and baby merchants among them? Are all Yorubas organ harvesting ritualists because of the ritualists among them? Though your ability to comprehend is questionable, the fact remains that traders are meant to trade in the shops or markets and not on the streets. Mention me no further with your nauseating bigotry lest you be ignored so hard you'll begin to doubt your very existence. |
Can't believe how filled with bile and hatred some easterners are, to the point where irrationality is elevated above the common sense dished by the OP. Oh well, hatred is always bound to consume the hater. The sooner you free yourselves the better, don't waste your lives chasing an elusive utopia. |
niyot124:Correct yourself. The only legitimate location for traders to do business is in the market or in shops and not by the roadside. Don't encourage indiscipline. |
Ibadan is truly a beautiful city, the OP has made his point. |

TippyTop:I thought you guys said it wouldn't matter if she went or not since she'd be using a diplomatic passport? Confused much? Damn it must really suck being a wailer ![]() |

Oksman:Of course he was harshly critical of Jonathan, because he is a chronic northern bigot. @bolded And what has changed? That Buhari appointed more northerners? In whose interest? Damn, sometimes I underestimate the naivety of wailers. Okay then, you're right . |
Oksman:It should be obvious that Junaid is playing to the gallery. Study his precedents and it would be clearer. |
Oksman:You can't really be this gullible. |
The people of the North East are one of the biggest beneficiaries of Change. Roads being reopened, stadiums being used, towns being rebuilt, markets returning to life... Thank goodness the IB was swept out otherwise the NE would have been a completely conquered territory by now. |
chinchum:Their daftness badly needs a Guinness record . Can you believe they were still threatening to blow pipelines in the same article that they were complaining of unpaid salaries? That they still cannot see the link between FG revenue and allocation to states is mind numbing. This is just hilarious, less than 3 months and they're already realizing that they've been bombing their retired parents into unspoken poverty . Progressive01, HungerBAD come quick and see Karma's killer twerk in the Delta ![]() |
What a confused bunch. The same touts who blow up pipelines thereby reducing national income and allocation to their States (from which salaries are paid), are now the ones threatening their Governor for unpaid salaries ![]() This is just the beginning. By the time the environmental impact of their foolishness joins the Karma party, we will be here grinning like horn.y bridegrooms . |
Don't worry, you have a long time to wait, I'm sure he's not in a hurry to do so. As at May 29th, PMB had only visited Kaduna, Cross River, Katsina, and Ogun States which form his core constituencies mandate wise. I remember a wailer even created a thread here condemning Ayade for inviting PMB to CR despite being a PDP Governor. Wailers are now in deep emotional confusion, gosh. attackgat:

What a life, wailing so early in the morning on baseless assumptions. PMB has not visited all the core northern states either, neither has he visited all the core western states, which are even his core constituencies mandate wise. As you've already mentioned, he has been to Cross River State which is a core southern state. If you easterners want him so badly then lobby your Governors to invite him, which is better than fooling yourselves daily by insulting him instead of admitting that you just really feel lonely and neglected and need the 'dullarpo's' attention so badly ![]() P.S. Your forced attachment to the SS is becoming ridiculously embarrassing. Grow a pair and stand on your own, you will still be heard. |
Wrong. Read my statement again, the word corrupt was there for a reason . Jirate: |
Jonathan has been kicked into the dustbin of corrupt past Nigerian leaders, and he knows it. |
Let Akpabio be aware that joining the ruling party will not insulate him from being investigated and prosecuted for corruption if indicted. That said, he will be a great asset in the Senate and could be the cornerstone in ridding the Senate leadership of Sarakititis. |
Azeebi:So you're saying Fayose and Wike were following PMB's instructions when they invited Sherriff to be chairman in the first place? Just listen to yourself, yet you call others foolish; it must be so hard seeing the man you invited to financially revive your party becoming the thorn in your flesh, to the benefit of the APC. |
MrPresident1:With regard to appointments, all of us including the President are failing to be progressive in thought by giving undue regard to primordial sentiments. Truth be told. That said, I cannot and will not condemn the Presidents appointments because at this stage of our democracy, the battle of interests is fierce and God forbid the day I'll be penny wise and pound foolish. |
sirade:Why not? You think everyone is a mindless drone? Not surprised it's astonishing to programmed Ekpas. |
You can't compare a leader that abandons his responsibility of empowering the people to be able to feed themselves, and instead tries to curry cheap popularity by handing them demeaning stipends and hand outs on the street; with a leader that chooses to identify with the physically challenged by inviting them to an August occasion and serves them as a gesture of leadership in service. One is noble, the other is selfish, deceitful and wicked. Apple's and Lemons. anonimi: |
TonyeBarcanista:Tonye I'd appreciate it if you and other posters here stop trying to put words in my mouth. There is no where I either expressly or tacitly approved of the skewed appointments of the President. I explained the mentality behind it, and that does not translate into an endorsement of such a regressive mentality. That said, Politics is not a tea party but a competition of diverse interests, so all the idealism being preached here is not practical which is why when we had an Ijaw President, the skewed appointments were also present and glaring. Of course anyone with the short end of the stick would be unhappy as expected, but such is the nature of partisan politics globally and we can only hope that as our young democracy evolves and matures, such primordial sentiments will occupy the back burner. P.S. Regarding hypocrisy, your thread itself is a shining beacon of the vice, you are yet to comment on Jonathan's equally skewed appointments. Refer to my previous posts and try to explain it away if you can. Cheers. |
And what have YOU achieved by bombing yourselves to oblivion? I'm sure you're aware Nigeria is still making billions from her oil revenue while your state governments are getting broker by the minute and your lands and rivers are becoming more polluted. Be assured, force has not been used, just carrot and stick. When force is applied you will know. Keep acting like spoilt kids, you will reap the fruits of bombing, violence, and support for terrorism. Ask the NE. If you have any foresight you would all form a civilian JTF to fish out your terrorist brothers before it's too late. I've never seen a more foolish agitation in my life...cutting your nose to spite your face. This government cannot be blackmailed. TheFreeOne: |
