IslamRe: Quran Says Bible Is A Book Of Reference For The Muslims by fulli16(m): 11:01am On Dec 02, 2019
now you moved the goal post from 'bible' to scriptures, a plural identity while bible is just 1. how do you fit one into many?

Allah is the Owner Who revealed His Books. The bible is not one of them.

Taurah of Musa [as] you dont have it in your bible because it is evident that Moses couldnt have written how he died and buried.
Sabur of Dawud [as] you dont have it in your bible because it is evident that David would not say that he was an adulterer, a wife snatcher and a husband killer.
Injil of Isa bin Maryam [as] you dont have it in your bible because it is evident that Jesus couldnt have disagreed with John son of Zacharia about who John was.

What you have are diluted and admixture of what seems true in part and outright fallacy, the handwork and trick of satan.

And as to the english language and dictionary, favor in america, favour in england. which one is correct depends on where you are writing your exam.

your case is similar to the case of the adopted mother who was forced to tell the truth because everyone knows she was not pregnant at the time the 'child' should have been in the oven/womb. the womb knows the right child. God knows the Books He revealed and your Bible is not one of them; Taurah to Moses, Sabur to David, Injil to Jesus and Quran to Muhammad [as to all]. now who received the Bible and provide his/her name either your bible or shame us by providing it in the Quran?

what you called scripture/bible is the adopted child and Taurah, Sabur and Injil that God says He gave to the honored prophets [as] as indicated in the Quran are the true 'babies' of the mother because she actually carry the pregnancy of each child to full term resulting in live birth.
Your ignorance amazes me

Good morning nairalanders,
I was having a conversation with a friend when this issue came up, she said she had heard from several sources that people with the SS gene are known to be Intelligent. For me, I haven't heard about it and I thought I'd bring this matter forward to the experts.
Is there any correlation between the SS gene and intelligence?
Is there any scientific or conventional rationale to this theory?

Honestly, from my experience I'll always say...its better to have ur low grades in year 1...then u know there's only one way to go...that's upwards.
Give ur academics more time and discipline, you'll be surprised how far you'll reach.

While i was in school, my year 1 results was just rubbish...I felt terrible till my brother told me it's easier to raise ur GPA from a low point than to maintain a high GPA thru out school. I graduated with a 2.1
Don't give up dear...there's only one way for u to go from here...Up.

Christianity EtcRe: My Experience In Christianity...Personal Encounter That Drives Me To Serve God. by fulli16(m): 12:14pm On Jan 17, 2019
This would be the first time I'll share a testimony in public...

It happened a little over 15 years ago, I had a chronic ailment due to an abnormality in my GIT (specifically my small intestines) they were twisted at a particular portion.
After the condition was diagnosed, I was scheduled to have a surgery, and I was just less than 10 years old, so yeah, I feared the worst would happen.

2 days to the scheduled date of the operation, my father called together a few members of his fellowship (FGBMFI - Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship Intl) and they prayed over me, the next day I went for a scan to enable the doctor know the exact location of the twist which would also assist him in the surgery,... It was gone, they was no twisted intestine in my abdomen.
I still have the Xray scans of my abdomen before and after my healing.

This is just a tip of the iceberg of what I've experienced in my walk with God.
I pray for the grace to share more.

EducationRe: Tips On Effective Time Management For Students. by fulli16(m): 9:29pm On Nov 13, 2015
llaykorn:
4. Avoid Procrastination:

Procrastination is one of the things that will badly affect a student's productivity. It can result in wasting essential time and energy. It should be avoided at all costs. It could be a major problem in both your career and your personal life also.

5. Start Early:

Most of the successful men and women have one thing in
common: they start their day early as it gives them time to sit, think, and plan their day. When you get up early, you are more calm, creative, and clear-headed. As the day progresses, your energy levels starts going down which affects your productivity and you don’t perform as well.

As a student, this applies not to your day alone: it does to everything you will have to decide when to start in your student life. Make sure to start early. Never work against a deadline.

6. Learn To Say NO:

Refuse to accept additional tasks if you think that you’re already overloaded with work. Take a look at your ‘To Do’ list before agreeing to take on extra work. Just remember to do it politely. Don't think that people will be disappointed in you if you decide not to help because most people never really think you will help; they are just trying their luck.

7. Stay Off Nairaland
