I will have to take him to creche...we have many around my place of work... Should I start giving him formula or I should just go for a breast pump... Pls I need advice for experience mum in d house..
And if expressing of milk is d best... Which breast pump is good that is not that expensive Manual or electric...

Most hospitals would give you until at least one week later but it depends on the details of your case. Sha go with your load on 24th, when you get there you can bargain for one more week but if your doctor thinks that's a bad idea then go with what he says. Try to remove afraid from your dictionary. Everything child-birth related is scary when you ask google.

Have you taken your early morning walk?
ANC is now on a weekly basis so feel free to ask questions from your Dr.
Check what facilities they have to cater for a jaundiced newborn, take a look at their NICU, blood bank etc. We won't need it by God's grace but we need all the reassurance we can get.
I'm sure bags are packed. Don't forget to get a wrapper as that would be most comfortable the first few days.
Have you been cleaning your nipps? Scrub those dark and crusty stuff off it, we don't want baby ingesting it.
I'm sure you have all downloaded the contraction timer app. It will help to distinguish between real and false labour.
Remember to have no fear, our body was made to do this. Women have been birthing easily and successfully since time immemorial, ours will not be different. It will be easier and faster.
Do your squats, tidy up the house, put finishing touches, make your hair, always have credit on your phone, have a driver at hand, use your drugs èsp the fesolate and don't stop praying.
May our joy not be cut short.

Its nothing, only means u are having a Ojo or Aina (like me ) d scan should show u how severe d cord is around his/her neck and also if its tied in a knot, all is well sis, no be today our mamas dey born babies wit cord round their necks

Funmi2510, sometimes its harmless and the cord will.come loose on its own, other times it is severe and the baby might strangle itself with the cord depending on how tight and how many times the cord goes round the neck.
Somve you've noticed a decreased movement, I would say work with your Dr, but then you're still 30 weeks and baby is still small enough to maneuver out of what she is stuck on..
Is the heart beat fine?
Is the baby still kicking as normal?

The heart beat is fine and baby still kicking as Before....but I was asked to see a gynecologist....
Will go back there tomorrow...

Good evening mama... I did scan today and. Dey said my baby's cord is around his neck... And they asked me to see a gynecologist...pls is there anything serious in it....because I know our moms use to ask about children been born with their cord on their neck....and they said there is no big deal in it....

Sometimes baby kicks when you're too busy to notice or when you're asleep.

What I do is drink like half a cup of coke (I have no issues of diabetes or gestational diabetes ) and I begin to feel the rumble and tumble.
If you still don't feel settled, please go and do a scan or get a Dr to listen to the heart beat.

You can lie on your left side and drink something sweet like Fanta or coke, if after 30min you still don't feel a kick or its faint please see a doctor asap. Babies do go quite for some hours but days is usually cause for concern.

We are usually told by the nurses and doctors to raise our feet up a little higher than our body so the water can flow back without restriction.its because of water retention.all you need to do is place pillows under ur bed or raise your bed and if you are sitting make sure you place a stool or anything to raise your legs up. And avoid sitting or standing for long. it happened to me a lot during my first and second trimesters and it worked.However one needs to be vigilant as swollen feet/legs could be a sign of other serious condition like pre-eclampsia.so you need to see your doctor to make sure your blood pressure is not high.
